Ok, this has probably been said on many forums and on many occasions.. but seriously what is up with these damn graphics issues with this damn "Rage" game.
Ive only had it one day and its p*ssing me off.
Its been out for months and has had stuff all patches.. AMD have released an ATI card update which seems to do nothing!
Do i honestly have to update my computer (when theres nothing wrong with it) or figure out how to fix these graphics issues myself.. seems to me the dev's and AMD don't want to.
I find it quite stupid that i have to create files, run console commands, put this info here, change CCC settings there just over one damn game. Grrr
like most other graphic problems people seem to have.. just after the intro of the asteroid colliding with the earth the screen goes blank then middle left hand side jumbled words start to appear and at an ultra slow rate they unjumble.. its like the game is mega chunking if you get what i mean.. i let this go for a while and the screen starts to appear of the view inside the human life support chamber but then nothing its going that slow i just don't bother.. Ive never had any game graphically carry on that bad before.

Windows 7 Professional 64bit Intel I5 750 2.67hz quad core 8gb DDR3 ram 1600mhz Crossfired ATI HD5830's (crossfire off for this game)
First off, download support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/GPU121AMDCatRagePerfDriver.aspx OR A beta driver that might be better than that one. But on the safe side, I would try the newest beta driver Today.

I did that on my friend's GPU and it ran perfectly fine. Tell me how these go. I'll still help if it doesn't work.
finally after alot of research and fiddling with config files.. i got the game going. oh and i rolled back to 11-10 ati drivers along with the 3 specific rage ati drivers including the one you mentioned. the game runs yes and still has the odd graphic issue while running but still works all the same. the only problem i have now is the random crashes whenever i leave certain locations and the most recent few being after i fire a rocket at a bandit car.. how unusual
You should also check the setting for your AMD control center. Did you try running the game only on one card (edit: scratch that, I overread it)? I couldn't run it on my 3850crossfire either.

Rage never works perfectly on the PC, I crash randomly no matter what on my GTX 560 2GB. No SLI or anything. It's just not coded very well for the PC I suppose.
