I read awhile back on these forums that someone got Vac Banned for using the trainer in singleplayer because I guess its Vac secured? Can anyone confirm this for me? I have alot of steam games and can't afford a Vac Ban. Thanks for the responses in advanced.

well im vac banned :P (but not from the trainer) though i can still play this game on multi.. only a few of my games are affected but i dont think you get vac banned on singleplayer though it would be smartest not to try finding out
Well I dont want to get vac banned at all, I have over 1000 games on my steam account and I dont want to risk it with a singleplayer game, can anyone confirm its safe to use without getting vac banned?

far as i know VAc starts to scan the hardware when you start searching for a game, i woudn´t mind using the trainer in sp, also have to remember that you can get a new key ( in the case of ban) for about 12€. like my mw3 version.
Thats what im trying to prevent, no bans... And I don't think you can just get a new key with the same account if your banned. I have over 1600 games on my steam account and I don't want to get a ban, does anyone know for sure its is safe?
