Hey I was just wondering if that patch is going to be made for those that have the boxed version. As I just tried testing my 1.02 with a 1.01 trainer and trainer activated voice got played, but then my game crashed. Which means that mine is the DVD retail of the game, so we need a 1.02 DVD Retail version of the trainer.

So is it going to be made?

How about trying the 1.02 trainer with your 1.02 version of the game? Just because it says ORIGIN doesn't mean it won't work.

I have tried to no avail. I tried running it directly from exe, and also from origin, and it won't work on either. So I have no idea.

BTW, of the hundreds of thousands of other users playing this game, no one else has complained about the 1.02 trainer not working with the DVD version. Most likely the problem is on your end. You need to disable/uninstall all AV, firewall and other security software and right click run as admin on trainer.
