2 points Do Something in ME2 2 pts etc 1 pts etc 1 pts etc
You need 5 points to get them both armies, I forgot what the points are though I could try to find them again.
I know their loyalty missions are probably involved, rewriting the heretics or not as well as settling their argument in ME2 are among those.
HERE IT IS POST EDIT
-Rewrote the Heretics (0 points) -Destroyed the Heretics (+2 points) -Tali is NOT exiled (+2 points) -Tali has been exiled/You did not do the Loyalty Mission (0 points) -Resolved Legion/Tali conflict either using the Paragon or Renegade options (+1 point) -N7 Mission: Save the Admiral on Rannoch in ME3 (+1 point) -N7 Mission: Destroy Geth Squadron on Rannoch in ME3 (+1 point) -Completed Legion's Mission in ME3 (or no peace)
You need 5 to 7 in those.

Tali was exiled in ME2 because I was too ****y in my dialog. I really stuck to my guns and tried to not pay for her father's mishaps. I don't remember a mission to regain her status, my bad.

Crap, looks like I have to find a save game where someone destroyed the Geth Heretics. I thought the Paragon thing to do was to rewrite them.
You don't have to. I saved Tali + Geth and I rewrote them. There was some "negative dialog" about how it wasn't the smartest thing to do, but that's all.

Oh I know, I got both the Geth and the Quarians, but I rewrote, thinking it was the right thing to do. (Even though I wanted to Destroy them.) I just want to see how the convo's change if I choose to destroy them.
