I think if Aria became a romancable, it'd be a one night stand sort of thing. I can't see Aria having the whole Shepard-melts-the-cold-exterior-to-find-soppy-cuddly-insides like other characters.

Considering drinking too much at the bar in purgatory ends with you passed out on the couch next to ol' Aria, well who knows what happened between the bar and the couch. Aria obviously respects Shep even if he/she's paragon, Especially if she lets him pass out next to her.
I hate the romances in ME3, not cause they are bad, i just hate picking between Liara and Tali.

if you get drunk enough in purgutory you wake up laying next to aria but your head is actually on her lap (confirmed with multiple play throughs). this means anyhtign may have happened especialyl with the face she gives.

Ash is kind of the Paragon Aria. I mean, reeeeaaaallly?
Anybody you can call "Gunny" as an actual term of endearment due to their rank is going to make you the woman of the relationship. I don't care if your species lacks gender identity on a physical and mental level, relationships on a romantic or platonic level, and is also a completely role free hive mind that has achieved a utopia of unconstrained free will.
I'd be game for a whodunnit DLC focused around finding out why Sheps who romanced Ash are huddled over in a corner in the fetal position, sobbing.
