You know Javik really dose not add much that I have seen so far. I have talked to him dose not really give much insight into the prothies. I have not used him for missions tho just to used to Garrus and Liara
I gotta agree on this one. Javik is nice to talk to and he does expand a little (and I stress little) to the history of the Protheans, but he doesn't actually add all that much.
If anything, I'd say the only thing he really does is prove all of our pre-conceptions about the Protheans wrong. If I'd bought the standard version of ME3, and played From Ashes on a friends copy, I don't actually think I'd buy it myself.
Worst thing is I would end up buying it so I have it all or cough cough.
If you don't have Javik, don't stress, the only thing you miss out on is a character. story-wise, he just says "i told you so" or "you are stupid for doing this" more than anything else.
I would buy it for the weapons/armor alone. I bought everything except the appearance packs for ME2 and i regret nothing (except that i can't UNHEAR the screaming David Archer from project overlord).

Okay, okay, I lied, I'd buy it. I'm shameless. Of course I'd buy it.

lol heck why do I see still game with me and you in it as Jack and Victor.
WOW. BIG surprise.(hating the ending)I was worried about not getting the from ashes DLC. I wanted the Prothean Squadmate. And,i thought it would affect the game story-wise. But,from reading these posts,i feel better that i'm waiting. YES,i'll still buy it just to have it,I'm a SUCKER.
Take it to the other thread. This one is about DLC. If you have suggestions on what you think an alternative ending DLC might be, then please feel free to contribute.
If you have nothing to say but how you hate the endings, like I said, take it to the other thread(s).

I found Javik funny sometimes, and a **** most of the time. Did not expect the Haitian/Jamaican accent either, that threw me off lol. However his speech in the citadel, with the Hannar and the Asari, is amazing. The way the Hannar kept saying he was unworthy to meet an Enkindler. That made it all worth it. He also has a huge amount of talk if you take him to Thessia.
An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest. I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.¯
