Keep in mind that the Space Editions have been launched and most likely a few people have already played through the entire main story-line.

So anything information that gets posted anywhere might be true, but given the limited amount of such copies, and the possibility that someone who does not have much of an idea of what was going on concerning the launch, there will most likely be more false information and speculation than hard data. Until the game is released.

only 12 games will be launched thats six cities. Only hard core loonies will go hunting for them. I certainly wont I might be a hard core ME fan but am not that of a loonie.

After reading some of the posts on the Bioware forums and looking at some of tne partial ending scenes on youbute and reading the script about the endings, I don't think I'm that disappointed if the endings are not all "happy".

It seems that the reapers have been wiping out life for million of years. I would think that there would have to be some major death, destruction and sacrifice to defeat these beings.

I get the feeling one of the endings will be the equivalent of the worst ending in ME2, where you, the entire crew bar Joker and all of your team die. Something like you fail miserably and the Reapers succeed in wiping out all life.

As I've mentioned in other threads, I think the best ending will be that you defeat the Reapers, but there's a huge price to pay for victory. I mean, in Arrival you wiped out a colony of 3000 (?) Batarians to prevent an early invasion.

"Remember the good old days when you could just slap Omni-Gel on everything?" - Shepard, ME2

"Not right now. Trying to determine how Scale Itch got aboard. Sexually transmitted disease carried only by Varren..... Implications unpleasant." - Mordin, ME2

From what I have read all the endings have the Reapers being defeated. The only difference between the endings is how they are defeated. From what I have gathered so far in the leaks. The red, blue and green endings.

    Spoiler:

Red (destory) ending has the reapers destroyed, the citadel sends a red beam that bounces from one relay to the next destroying them. Citadel is destroyed. Citadel is above Earth now. Shepard's body is shown in the rubble then his chest moves as if he is alive. The Normandy is caught in the destruction of the relay's and crash lands on an apparently unhibated planet where they star a colony according to the prologue.

Green (merge) ending has Shepard choosing to merge AI and sentient life, Geth, EDI, reapers merge with sentient life, citadel sends out gree beam to relays, relays destroyed, Normandy crash lands on said planet. Shepard Dies

Blue (control) ending has Shepard tricking the Reapers into thinking they have won and they leave. Shepard takes control of the Citadel and it closes up. Shepard is integrated into the Citadel and controls it. If AI ever achieves singularity and threatens the galaxy Shepard will call the reapers back to destroy them, Citadel sends out blue beam to the relays, relays destroyed, Normandy crash lands, colony starated etc. Shepard dies. The Guardian created the reapers to prevent sentient life from creating AI that could destroy all sentient life. So every 50k years the reapers return to destroy advanced civiliation before they can create AI that reaches singularity. Each reaper is civilization that was destroyed previously. Remember in ME2 how they were creating a human reaper, that's what happened to the other civilizations in the pastSpoiler:

If I die in it. I want them to make a 60 foot gold Statue of me. In a kilt belt flashing my fuzzy bear butt at the reapers. With the caption.

    Kiss my fuzzy you Reapers

If those are the only options. Ending sucks.

Hmm... three endings for such a huge number of available choices throughout the previous two games AND those you'll get to make in ME2 seems a little small.

However, having read those three, I would say it's a little disappointing...

    Spoiler:
...that in all endings the relays are destroyed - essentially destroying travel through the galaxy - and Shepard either dies or forever stranded.

Still... I'm not gonna read too much into it until I experience it for myself.
