Yes, the graphics are much improved but that's just about it. The gameplay of JA2 with mods is just so much more enjoyable granted it's hard to look at the pixelated graphics after playing this. I wish someone would make a 1980X1080 resolution version of JA2 then I would be happy.

well from what ive seen and heard on some of the ja boards it looks like it wont be that hard to mod so we may see a lot of mods and dlcs comming out for this there are already 3 dlc packs on steam

Yep. Icing on the cake: this game is actually less open to unofficial modding - so no JA2 1.13 "turn everything into .xml files" love will likely be possible.

BitComposer just loves ruining everything they can - and then telling fans that they are, in fact, not removing all those really cool things JA2 had while remaking it because it "breaks" their new combat system.
