Oh man this is taking so long i completed all the other side and faction quests already... i even checked in other forums and no one is like helping out or finding out the source of this problem and im too far in this game to restart.. Even in the reckoning forums i dont see anyone tryna help there ..haiiiiz

While visiting the Gardens of Ysa, make sure you delimitate the town first and visit every quest giver and building, before proceeding towards the main quest.

Check the Scholia Arcana Embassy and talk to Adept Jorum Quintis for the side-quest called Order of Operations. Also talk to Docent Augra Tenet to start the side quest called Trial by Fire.

Inside Asker’s Alley, you can talk to Gertern Asker if you wish to start a side quest called What Ales You, while inside the Embassy; Mythany Keen wants you to complete the Uprising side-quest.

Near the United Merchants Delegation, you will find Brit Codgan, and you can start the Status Symbol task. If you go to the central area of the gardens, on a bridge you will find a Fae named Brio. Talk to him and you will start the side-quest named Oh, The Indignitaries.

NOTE: At this point you should complete all the quests mentioned above, before talking to the High King of Ysa.

I have done all these quests and still can't get in

I think it's related to the house of ballads quests. Everyone with this problem has completed the faction storyline, become ruler of the house and can't go on with main story.

The only option, given that 38 studios dowsn't seem to be able to release a fix, is to start a new game (ONCE AGAIN!!!! this is the third time already for me ) and AVOID LIKE A PEST the house of ballads sidequests.

f that, I'm not wasting 30 hours to do everything again. I'll wait for the patch.
So in the meantime I will play morrowind, where I can do ANYTHING. Killed an important npc? spawn him again.
Lost a quest item? spawn it right now.
Wanna jump? Press the jump key
Wanna jump like hulk? Increase your athletics and acrobatics to 400
I just love it's freedom.

So you guys only answer to this is basically start the whole game over?

That is absolutely OUT OF THE QUESTION. I am not gonna play through another 10+ hours just because of this god damned bug. I DEMAND a fix that doesn't require me starting the whole damn game over again dammit.

Started again the game. 3rd time. This time I went straight down the main quest, using again trainer options for XP, ability and skill points and inventory. This time the f****ing summer court door openend and I completed the quest.

to be short: the problem is in the sidequests, most likely in the house of ballads storyline.

And don't bother, 38 studios is not going to fix this.

Wait you cant get into Ysa summer court? meet the high king?
I had no problem i am the king of house ballads.
The summer key is to open the cylinder near the entrance to windmere near the long tunnel to the north east corner.
