You're right then, because the sound doesn't work here. I could maybe blame that on my IDM not my OS.

You can set the Nyan cat one to ignore certain programs. Like the send/receive for Outlook (which is being freakin stupid lately) or iTunes if for some reason it treats the progress bar there as a windows progress bar.
