Need for Speed: The Run Message Board  

Using the Trainer (fyi); i can't get beyond the first stage of The Run (race across USA), no matter how well i do when i reach the checkpoint i get 'retry' option (and not 'go to Stage 2'). What is the objective of the first stage; i pass 10 or 10 cars, and make very good time w/o wrecks; must be missing some objective & no help from RTFM. Please advise :-)

It's caused by the trainer...when u use numpad 7 (freeze main timer) ur time will be corrupt..if u want to use the trainer function u need to let the timer count like 60 sec. or something then freeze with numpad 7 and when u reach the finish line make sure u UNFREEZE the time before u cross the finish line...its best u do this wit each track u play in the run because sometimes u can finish wit the timer freezer on but most times it will give a corrupt time and then u need to do that track again....ps this is only for the story line The Run, the challenges can be finished leaving the freeze times cheat on

there is also a track in las vegas in wich u have to beat 10 racers...some of those are pulled over by the cops if u have all cars frozen(numpad 3)some of those cars will not be counted as beaten when u pass em so u need to unfreeze the cars let em go on track with the cops and then freeze the cars again
