I don't remember everything that has been said in this thread but has anyone finished the game without using the trainer. And if you have finished the game with the trainer what options did you use?

I only used the upgrade points at the start to upgrade HP to max level. After that I finished the game without the trainer( zero crashes/glitches). Now that I have finished the game I am going to use the trainer to finish off the side quests etc so I will see if I get any CTD issues with it on.
If you have the version with Securom and what not on it, chances are, you'll CTD and eventually corrupt your save.
On another note, big thanks to Cal and PWiz for the awesome job, but is there possibly going to be any trainer for those of us unfortunate to have the screwed up retail version? --I'm checking before i go purchase a Steam version.
Well so yoou're saying that it's Securom casuing the crashes? What about GFWL? I thought that gfwl came with both versions and had built in anti cheat protetction?

i was using the retail trainer which was the right 1 i might add n only the HP cheat but it seems 2 crash straight to the desktop at about 30-40mins help plz.
Not sure what the cause is, just going by previous posts. I'll wait for either a working trainer to be released on here, or a 'fixed' exe, trying to avoid getting it on Steam. I beat the game on Xbox with no cheats/trainers, really looking to have 'fun' with it on PC.
I finished the game without using the trainer, but I wanted to use the trainer in challenges and the game+.
So without the trainer on my first playthrough, I had everything maxed out and as I said in lots of posts, no crashes or bugs. It's only when the trainer is used, does something happen that shouldn't.
