I finished the quest in which u brake out the king from the prison in Markarth.. since than all the guards in that city keep attacking me like for 2 hrs i didnt even have an option of talking to them (after i restarted the game i got it) however when i talk to a guard and tell him i give up and to take me to prison he tells me "No1 excapes (something) mine" (thats the name of the prison) and instead of taking me to the prison all i get is a new text/talk option "What's the problem?" if i stop talking to him "press Tab" he attacks me !!
i tried using console command "Player.setcrimegold 0" to see if that would work ... but it didnt... anyone got any ideas ????
---------------Got It------------- Apparently casting spell called "HARMONY" calms the KING of this city down so i can still talk to him and turn in my quests
Just keep on hitting tab to escape the bugged response and run out of town. Or you can just kill the guard who is talking to you.
Open console by pressing tilde "~"
Then click on the guard, if the number on the middle of the screen reads "00000014", you have chosen yourself, so you need to try and click on the guard somewhere else, until the number changes.
Next type "Kill", if you did it right, you will see the life bar of the guard go away and the guard will give a I just died sound, exit of the the console by pressing "~" again and the guard should drop dead.
Finally, just hit Tab to exit out of the questions and then run out of town.
Rinse and repeat if you intend to around the town, preferably before you get close enough to a guard to trigger the message prompts. You will need to be close enough to npcs you want to kill, else it won't work.
Use the click on the dead npc or you and type in resurrect command in the console to bring back dead npcs and you back to life. This also usually resets their aggro stance towards you.
yeah i have done that planty however the KING of this city attacks you as well and he is quest giver.. what i was trying to do is turn in 2 quests in the town (king and his body guard) however they both always attacked on sight ... like i said only solution i could come to was to use HARMONY on them turn in the quests and pick up new once
