I get what you mean for those who don't, is that if you level up in SP it also count as level up in online because even if you play SP you get Cash/points for level.
Exactly, which is why (IMHO) a trainer should not be made. It falls under online games IMO.
Then your saying there also shouldn't be a mod for Terraria because it has ONLINE playability. Because this to me is in the similar aspects as Dead Island, Call of Duty, Metal of Honor, & Homefront. Well with Dead Island being the closest of them all right now.
I have sat through and played the game. Personally I like playing with others, but I wouldn't mind solo-ing the game with a health mod or armor mod to keep me from dying every time I want to play by my self. The AI COOP team ain't exactly the brightest Crayon in the Box. But the police swarm and your chance to survive is very limited to luck.
As for Dead Island it was already preset to online play, I enjoyed playing offline more because I could control what I wanted to do, It still leveled up my characters with no problem and I was playing with my settings as single player because I wanted to be the game.
This game has plenty of replay to it in offline for people that like to go Lone-wolf, sadly they won't last long with out other people controlling the COOP players. Is a trainer for OFFLINE SINGLE PLAYER play really that much to ask for?
Please bring the trainer ALL MIGHTY TRAINER GODS!
A 'MOD', as you put it is not a trainer. There is a huge difference. Dead Island is VAC secured, so if you use a trainer online.....you're pretty stupid really. No, the AI isn't perfect, and it won't do the objectives for you (which is a choice the devs made), but it is certainly more than other games.
Also, your choice of survival is not luck, it's down to how you play. The starting weapons are not awful, they are quite good actually,
Lastly, yes it has replay, but some of the achievements (which you need to level up quickly, they give approx 500-800k, require 4 team mates, i.e. online. Think of it like the older games where you could get 95% of stuff in SP, but you needed MP for the last 5%.
I'd rather not have a trainer for Payday thank you, I followed the development and delays closely, and on their Twitter (since deleted the post) they were talking about admiring VAC type systems.
