I am waiting for my game to arrive and I just wanted to double-check that I can use the trainer for 1P Campaign mode & 1P VS CPU (and 2P offline hot-seat) Skirmish/Duel mode. I thought I read somewhere that you need to be connected to the Internet to get certain things in Campaign mode. I'm also not 100% sure if you have to be online to play Skirmish mode. If you have to be online to play these modes, is it safe to use the trainer (aka will I get banned)? I thought that some main hero progression won't work offline & I heard that you can't play the Campaign in offline mode and then continue in Online mode from where you left off. Any info on this stuff would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
As long as you are not playing an online multiplayer game you should have no trouble.
You don't have to be online for Single player or hotseat. When online you get access to the "Dynasty" items, abilities, ect. The items are weapons that gain xp when you do (but only when online) and unlock higher bonus abilities. The dynasty abilities are traits you can add or remove at the start of each map. In the begining its only one-at-a-time and you have 3 junkie choices, but later you can unlock more slots (up to 3? per map) and abilities that really help (my fav so far shows all mines at the start of the map).
So...Yes you can play the game offline and enjoy, but the online bonus is pretty nice
Hey Caliber, Thanks for your nice work! For me everything works well! I just would like to know, if you could integrate that "Infinite Building for one turn" funktion, of what SlyJustin talked about, into your Trainer?
I have the collector's edition (no steam) and the latest patch installed and the latest trainer, when I start the game and start a new game (custom game/maps, offline, single player vs cpu) the trainer works but after some time trainer do not work at all. When I quit the game to desktop the trainer is not up and runnin. I have Win 7 64 bit home prem sp1 with latest updates and the pc is a: i7 980x, 6gb ram, asus matrix gtx580 platinum (no overclock).

Okay, thanks for the info. I'll make sure not to play any multiplayer when I am playing the game online then (I never play against human opponents with a trainer anyway). Thanks for the info, I really appreciate it.
I can't get this to work. I'm playing in off-line mode, but at the main menu, hitting F1 doesn't do anything. There's no response from the trainer at all.
