So I was browsing about for a trainer for DX: Human Revolution, naturally I would come here if I had the cash for an Unlimited Membership (perhaps in the future, but not today).

Anyways, to the point. I was on GCW today (which I know both the unmentionable two members have posted trainers on) and found a +5 trainer for version 1.0.618.8 by 'Fy'. Turned out it was in chinese by some group by the name of ali123, when I switched folder views I noticed that the 32x32 icon was different than the 16x16, while the 16x16 logo was the DX Logo, the 32x32 had a gray background with an orange/yellow oval shape with the letters CH inside it.

Figured I would pass this along. I haven't done any file or offset comparisons cause I can't download any of the premium trainers, just the promo's.

ali123 is a chinese guy who has a forum that gives out warez releases. He basically packs titles and bundles in p2p cracks he has found.

Empire still posts his mini-images on GCW and the nfo still links to the forum, I had told mods and Empire for about 2 years on and off about this guys files but nothing got done.

So GCW is infact promoting warez through those mini-images etc :P


He may have just stole an icon set but not the coding from the trainer.

Well the only reason I thought it was relevant was because long before I knew about hax0r and Kelsat; I had a trainer by hax0r that had the same thing, it was a trainer for need for speed hot pursuit, when I renamed the file; the icon that was there vanished and the 'ch' icon appeared.

Well good for you for noticing this. Im sure PWiz or a mod will contact you about this and figure it out.
