it would be heck funny to see people who "voted NO" actually comes back later and asks for "Trainer please this game is out."
It happens. If Blizzard stops banning people for using trainers, lets you play offline, sure, I'll buy it. If not... Well, goes in the "they changed it, now it sucks" category with Battlefield 3 and such.
Currently after browsing some information on sites such as N4G, it seems that since Activision took over Blizzard (A move I'll never understand blizz allowing considering they'd never likely go bankrupt in the first place after wow was released) - Activision has made a vast majority of changes to the "DLC" available for World of Warcraft. £20 here, £10 here and more for in-game items was always going to be the way Activision lent toward.
However, when applied to Diablo 3, I have heard on the rumor mill that there will be the option to decide on whether to buy in-game items via the auction house with in-game money or real money.
Now I have thoroughly enjoyed SC2 and WOW for a fair while, but I'm beginning to think to myself, do I really want to give my hard earned green to a company that seems to focus so much more now on profit than gameplay...

Indeed, if for example you go onto the Starcraft 2 page on Cheathappens, there will be a disclaimer I believe about using the trainer in online mode to get some achievements. Blizzard seem very anti-cheat; and for some unknown reason, this stems right into Single Player too, where it should be the option of the player on how they would like their experience of the game to be. Bring back Blizzard before Activision bought them over I say...cough [shout] ALLYOURBASEAREBELONGTOUS

--------------------------------------------------------------------------- Retired Gamer and I have been revived!
Well, if i am not allowed to play a Single Player in offline mode, i will hardly buy it. It's ridiculous when a company like Blizzard force you to connect to internet play just a Single Player game... I can't understand them. They disappoint their customers and they will lose a lot of money using these tactics.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's time to play the game!
I will be buying it anyways, cause over the times blizzard has made games great for me as a player, true, maby no offline SP, will be a bit tricky'er, But i trust in blizzard, cause none of their games have dissapointed me at all. They are great game developers and true, most game companys are starting to go the DRM way, But as most all other games in time, no matter how long, someone will have hacked it, cracked it and produced it. and i will be playing alot online with friends who shares the same oppinion as me so im just happy to buy it ^^
EDIT: BTW, people said that WoW weren't Warcraft either and they wouldn't buy it, They still ended up buying it, As im guessing when the time comes, you guys will buy it too
