When i get to the main menu i press f1 and the trainer says it is active but then the game shuts dow

When i get to the main menu i press f1 and the trainer says it is active but then the game shuts down and says that it has stopped responding. I have used a trainer before on Witcher 2 without problems. Im am running the D2D version of mass effect 2 and downloaded the new version megatrainer for d2d (wouldnt work) so then tried the normal one and that does the same thing. I tried not pressing f1 and just going in game. When i press the numpad it confirms that i have made the entry and it is active but nothing happens.

Same case as mine, update to the latest game patch.
