Its the retail I just bought it yesterday. Unless it was auto updated which I don't think thats the case.

Sure you're not using the skidrow crack? Thats the only reason trainers are crashing on it, because the crack is badly made, not a crack per say but an emulator for the protection.
Which is of course not supported here fully.
Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA

No I bought the game at gamestop. And I do not support cracked games.

try using the no-cd fix as there may be multiple versions of the game floating around.

I have the same problem.My game is stopped after 5 minutes in play. Not very happy. This game runs absolutely on HDD, not need no-CD fix

Very strange...
Then I suggest trying the Reloaded no-cd see if that works better for you all.
But I have tried retail and had no slowness or game stopping bugs.
Question to those playing, is the game stopping at Hogsmead?
