Yea i got same problem. It's year 1559 and after end of turn game just trow me on desktop with message like "this application caused some problems and windows will shut it down". Crap
Shogun 2 became the worst frustration I have ever bought with my own money. Trainer or no trainer, the games keeps crashing every second or third turn. Ultra video settings or low video settings - this ends the same way - crash, crash, crash. I spent 5 hours playing this game and after this game just completely ruined some of my successes in the game I just wanted to take the disc and crash it, crash it and crash it.
Unfortunately, there is no disc, since this is Steam version of the game. I just stopped playing it for the time being, since I don't like paying the money for constant reloads. The game leaves me wondering - is this so hard to make the game so it could work without crashes at least.
Definitely, Shogun 2 is the worst game ever in the series if we talk about the technical side of the question, which doesn't leave much chances to test the gameplay side.
Hmm, verify game cache (@ Steam) and don't load up in Continue Campaign (Auto-save) but from the last normal save you made.
I actually tried both options, but none worked. Anyway, since the game crashes even without trainer, that is up to the developers of the game to solve the problem. I paid the money for the game and I want it to work normally. Otherwise, this will be the last Total War game I have ever bought.
Since the day that this game out, I always got crashes when I got a half of japan or when I have too many armies, etc. I thought it was because of the trainer also but seems not
