I bought the last one, and it was the same thing there, actually it was even worse then, as i coudnt play for a month until they patched it up...
Now i "only" had to wait for a week.

Here is a suggestion for future game companies:
Use that copy protection that no pirate group ever managed to crack´.... oh ,wait. There IS none. So why the DRM then ?
Just to get us paying customer ****ed ? Well, mission accomplished.

Piracy or Protections?

Actually it's not a hard conundrum, Piracy (damn I hate that word it should be Warez) was first which in turn has started this fall down into online authentication etc. And lets be honest Online Authentication is not harsh at all, people just want to cry about anything these days... but what happens if the company goes bust etc..

Most companies would release a completely free of any protection patch.

Even if they don't go bust, and the servers continue anything else can happen, you break the media, you lose the media and packaging in a fire, your friend steals your game... etc. So obviously it annoys me when the usual people (not you poster - but warez users) allows point at the same excuse about it.

Anyways.... I am doing what I said you shouldn't be doing :P

Any help would be appreciated cause I dont know what version this is and I want to be sure I'm up to the most current, so I can get the trainer to work. Also, I would like to not have to worry about DRM running :P.

FYI. I have the Steam copy. The references I have read say that the game is supposed to update automatically. I registered the game so that it would do that but when I restarted the client, it did not seem to do any updating whatsoever. Also, just purchased the game and installed early yesterday.
