I was playing with the no-cd version, and the Orens cheat worked for me in the early game, but it seems that at least in my game, it stopped working after I Spoiler:
started escaping from prison and the game took all my possessions.

It is basically working for me, except it adds weight instead of Orens, so i can't run...

actually the weight is there cos its increased one of your items to 50000 so just sell 49999 of them and bam gola a plenty
