Does it do it also without the trainer.
When the sound goes off and the display goes off, does everything go off, as in CPU etc?
If so, it could be overheating or it may be that your power settings are set to go into sleep mode after a certain amount of time away from the desktop.
You never said if you are forced to restart the PC or not, so I am only assuming.
As best as I can remember it has only happened with an active trainer in use. This has happened with two games, Bulletstorm and Mafia 2.
I can't tell if everything goes off or not but the lights in my computers case stay on. I have a window in my computers case and I can see the lights installed in there are still on.
How do I check my power settings in Windows 7?
When this problem happens I can't trun my monitor back on until I power the machine off and then boot it.

Never mind I found power options under the control panel and I've set it to never power down the monitor. Hopefully this will solve my problem.

Well it's july now and it's only two months since I first shipped my computer back to the manufacturer and I just last week for the second time shipped my computer back to the manufacturer. I had a tech at my home last week that the computer manufacturer sent and the tech found that one of the video cards and the hard drive needed to be replaced. The computer should arrive at the manufacturer for repair tomorrow. Hopefully this time they will fix it.
