I LIKE this idea, but I don't think a lot of people will like the idea of spending money to switch their avi for a week, and more money to switch it back :\

seems like a cool idea,but i think pwiz wont like it when a week after the competition he is bugged by so much e-mails about bringing back their custom avatars... plus it would take some time again to get your custom avatar back... but if you think it's not such a trouble then go do it,enjoy...
Teslagod, you won't lose your custom avatar if you switch to a free one. I'm using a non-custom right now and I can still go back to my custom without bugging PWizard, it's still in the "Select Avatar" section.
Anyway, count me in.

i dont think you have any idea how hard is it to remember your 1st avatar if you'ved been around for about 5 yrs and been mostly changing avatars,plus some1 very oldy man like me
luckily i remembered it when i was looking on "select avatar"
1 last question though,how would the competition go?would it be which avatar was mostly used or which avatar gets higher votes or some1 who gets higher votes for his avatar?
But wouldn't we have to pay to switch back to our current custom avatar if we have one? If we don't then I'm down.
We're gonna be switching to free avatars we've had in the past I think. That way you can switch back to your custom for free when this whole thing is done.
