Hey, I saw a similar thread on here but I had a more specific question. I use the trainer occasionally in the single player and not worried about that since single player isn't vac secured haha. However, my friend and I were playing a coop game and were getting a bit bored and decided to make it a bit more interesting. He used CE to add money and I just used the CH trainer and made it so my arts were done it one turn. I didnt realize that this game was VAC secured until after we did this and it scared the crap outa me. What do you guys think, I was on a coop game so Im not sure if that is "VAC Secured". Is there any way to tell if my account has been flagged? God it would be so sad to see my account banned for something that was so harmless, we would never use it on a real MP match.
Damn, how long did it take to show up that you were vac banned? And does it show on your account that you have vac bans in history? I feel like in these circumstances they should allow us to explain ourselves. Were you banned only from Shogun2?
You will only get banned from the 1 game you used cheats/hacks on in multiplayer. I only don't know if Coop is part of multiplayer. Since you can do Coop in lan mode aswell.
VAC is a death machine of the unexpected. It will ban you anytime, and you won't know when you will get banned. And they will either ban you temporarily or permanently.
Me, unfortunately.. My other Steam account was banned after some hacker hacked it and used hacks on the games. So I got banned permanently in all games.
That's not true. You don't just get banned for that game. You get banned on that game engine. So if you get banned in a source game, all the other source games that use that same engine will be banned too. But for example, a ban in COD:MW2 won't ban you from all COD games, just those using the same engine.
VAC/Steam has it outlined in their FAQ section.
