From reading what the developers wrote, once you run out of points, the game should come to an end. It's probably one of the most non-Sims aspects of the game. Instead of making it possible to keep going till you feel like ending and starting over, you now have an endpoint and have to choose what quests to do and do the others when you start over.

The real question for me is: do other ambitions give other quests?
Because if you would need to do the same quest for every ambition, that would become real boring real fast.

with the testing cheats enabled thing, you can add quest points to your game so you don't run out.

but if the game allows free time after running out of quests, then i assume that would let you play the game in regular sims style.

on a side note, i haven't tested it yet, but i'm wondering if i can use shift+click 'build on this lot' to allow more space for each building. more floors would be nice.

When you finish your quest points, you can continue playing free-style. With no quests. Just the regular "work" of each character. And you can play any of them.

I like quests with more heroes because they all level up after the quest making them more awesome.
