There is a lot of old games that I have and would like to play but I would like to start with "x com apocalypse"

So how would I got about getting the game to play on windows xp
what steps do I need to take to get this game to work.

I did look on the boards could not find or see anything that help me.

Micrsoft's Virtual PC. Allows you to run Windows 95/98/Me/2000 within an XP envirnoment.

You must have a Windows 95/98/Me/2000 disc to install from.

Besides im moving this to General. It does not belong in the Feedback section.

Its free from Microsoft. There is only one Virtual PC. Obviously the newer version the better.

I don't have a Windows 95/98/Me/2000 disc
so what do I do.

Xcom will work in an XP environment. If you have windows 7 you can download the XP "emulator" of sorts.

But if you dont have any of the older Windows then Virtual PC 2007 wont be for you.

I have is windows xp
What I can get to work is the install. But the setup is what is the problem. Like the the sound card pot thing

I thought the emulator would by pass that problem
