First of all - sorry for my English, it's not my native.
Ok, You will need GFF Editor, from:
www.gamefront.com/files/20116458/gff4editor_0_4_9a_7z
or from social bioware forum.
1) Put Your weapon to backpack and save your game.
2) Open Your saved game with GFF editor. File You can edit is xxxxx.das, where xxxx its Your save game name.
3) Open down the menu from curent number "0",
4) Open down menu "SAVEGAME_PARTYLIST"
5)Open down menu from line "SAVEGAME_BACKPACK"
6)Identify Your item. I changed staff of parlathan from DLC. Its name is "prm000im_parth_staff". Open down line with Your item.
7) Open down menu "ITEM_PROPERTIES"
8) Go to line with property value "8000"
9) Select this line, You will se window with "Edit" properties in bottom left corner.
10) Change value from 8000 to 9115 (9115 is the value for lvl item)
11) Click save button and You will see new value in item properties.
12) Go to "File" -> "Save as" and select your savegame and overwrite it.
DONE !
Actually, this is the updated GFF editor. 0.4.9a has a bug, you need 9b or better, this one is gff4editor-0.5.2b.7z

from your standard 2h sword to meredith.

Now Hawke in full heavy Hero Armor and this sword, looks like really Bad Ass ;p

You need to change only how Your swoord looks like.
Don't try to add Meredith sword to you as it is.
As NPC sword it has no stats and do no damage.

Also, if you add code 9102, that gives XP, and it only works adding it to armor/clothing. 1pt=2% increase in XP gained, 2pts=4%, and so on. This is great for starting out so you can level much faster. It's was impossible in Origins to reach lvl 25, let alone in DA2 (as it is shorter than Origins) to reach lvl 50.

I tried this method for Celebrant but it didn't work man please help me !
