Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War 2 - Retribution Message Board  

I read a post on the dawnofwar2 forums that you can not use the -dev command anymore.

Can anyone confirm this? I don't have my copy yet (snail mail!).

I figured it out on page 4 of the "Cheat Mod?" thread. They didn't remove it, it's an issue with sound. When you get your game, try -dev. If it doesn't work, go to this page and follow my instructions. 2nd post down...

The dev fix is also on the relicnews forums, but it's likely to be a glitch and fixed in the near future anyway. Also, as far as I know, if you actually use a mod, IE you have something extracted in the sound folder, it may work fine. Some people have already made some rudimentary mods, but they're waiting on Copernicus to make new mod tools (But he doesn't have the game yet. =[)

You might want to just try it before doing the above changes since an update was just applied today to bring the game to 3.12. I haven't used it myself, so can't really confirm or deny if the patch fixed the issue that required editing the resources.
