I think personally that a mouse is much easier to aim with than a controller and such.

Modded controllers help them shoot faster, not aim. And most people who aim fast on controllers have their sensitivity up to max.

I personally prefer a mouse when trying to aim quickly but prefer controllers in general because I play on console more than I do on PC.

Controller Simply cannot match the precision that k&m can in shooters.

Only area that consoles controllers trump a k&m is in fighting/racing games. The k&m is too complicated and large to play games like that because they don't rely on the mouse but rather on the keys in which case the k&m has too many.

Try playing DiRT on a keyboard, and you find it is almost impossible!

Oh, you mean in games--Keyboard/Mouse Über Alles. No gamepad ever made can give you the precision control that a proper keyboard and good wired mouse can.
