The 1.01 trainer doesn't seem to be working with the Deluxe Edition (very recently released on Steam). I haven't done a whole lot of testing, but adding money doesn't work, and the unlimited health seems to freeze health (i.e. health pots and doctors don't actually increase your health bar).
I found a trainer on gamewinners.com which actually worked for freezing money. That's about it. Hopefully they can address the issues that we're having.
I just this week bought, downloaded, and installed AC2.
