the problem is, from what bioware has told us, this dlc was already planned. meaning that they most likely already put aside time for the development and other aspects of making the dlc. This also would lead us to believe that one new and last dlc wont have any impact on me3 or the release date. Besides they wont push back the release any further anyway, holidays 2011 is kind of too profitable time frame to just let go plus they wont wanna push it back to 2012 unless of course they have some major problems. you all do realize though that me3 has only been in development for maybe a little over a year, if anything id like for them to take more time to make a really great game then rush it out the door with tons of bugs just so we could get it a little faster. Im excited for the dlc, Im ecstatic for me3. Im just happy that we get more mass effect in any form as long as its good and worth the price.
It will probably be a sourt of prologue to Mass Effect 3, it will probably be with Shepard hearing thath Earht is under attack and rushing to destroy or defend some bases and in the proces your probably going to learn of the reaper plan, setting the stage for Mass Effect 3

I can only hope that if it is a transition in story from ME2 to 3, and that it is the final DLC for ME2, that it is quality. Bioware really dropped the ball with that disaster of the Dragon Age: Origins final DLC story transition, to DA2 called, "Witch Hunt".
