This game bugs the hell out of me with the gong going off over, and over, and over, and yes over some more. I can't play the game with this gong... Is anyway you can turn off the gong...

That method still results in the Dong when I re-enable the health option. Dunno if it does for everyone, but still.

There's an extended method, found also in that thread but I can't remember where exactly. Basically follow those directions to lower your health and the Dong stops, save your game, re-enable the option, then quit to the menu without autosaving (DON'T disable the trainer options you're using) then re-load your game. The option will still be active and no Dong.

Dong. Dong......... dong..... dong dong dong dong dong........ dong.......... dong........... GAAAAAHHHHHHH.

This doesn't seem to always work. It would be nice if this option can be modified to not cause the gong

turn off the health option, have something attack you for a little bit, turn it back on

or turn off the health option have something attack you, save the game, reload the game
