So, I have a bass amp, back from my bassist days and I was wondering can I plug my amp into my computer? I just need a amp for my computer for my music keyboard, which hooks up to my computer. So if I have a 1/4 inch to a 1/8 adapter can I do so?

Please don't post unless you know what you are talking about.

Are you trying to record from your bass amp directly onto your computer? I'm sure there are usb adaptors you can buy.

I think he wants to use it as a speaker. My friend did that with a amp before, you just need to get an adapter for a smaller audio jack.

Well, I don't know the technical terms, but you need an adapter with a jack on one end that is small enough to go into your PC

Sorry didn't get to it on time but yeah that pretty much sums it up, all you need is the adapter.
Just a side-note, the bass-player from the band i used to be a part of tried something similar except instead of with a single amp, he tried with a rather expensive marshall stack and didn't really know what he was doing.

    Total result of curiosity: $5990.
    Oops?
