yes i realize i should have titled diferently, probably like "inspired to mod" or something of the sort, if a moderater or whoever would like to re-title this post for me so its more accurate and likely to get hits, id appreciate it
i was looking at the lua file of the wargear mod and a thought occurred to me, could i change or add some data to change the force commanders abilities?
and another thought, could one modify the enemy lvl scaling? or edit the force commander (or other unit) as to not effect scaling?
as the only game ive modded in a similar manner (via txt/lua) was the original sacred i have very limited knowledge in this area, but i will give it the once over and try my luck at it
i will update within 48hrs on whether ive learned or accomplished anything worth reporting (...or to ask for help) edit, my enthusiasm got the best of me it looks like ill have to wait till someone tells me where the data files are and if i need anything special to open them

im betting what i need is in the .rfb files but i cant figure out how to get the rfb reader to work, since its a command prompt program and the instructions i found say type in cd twice and some bunk crap i cant remember atm and the readme just states it has to be run in command prompt, so again if anyone could give me a hand id appreciate it
