i was wondering how you can drop the cursed mace in front of the person who is suppose to kill you with it?

Why would you need to drop it? I'm pretty sure it's a quest item so it can't be dropped

Yeah I know i am just wondering how you can get killed by the guy? when you have the mace? this must be a tricky one.

In case you haven't figured this out yet: just wait until he is at the grave outside of his house. Drop the Cursed Mace there and hit him with any other weapon (or just your fist) once. He'll pick up the mace and attack you with it. Let him kill you to be respawned at Molag Bal's shrine.
