Am I missing anything?

They're just another thing to do.

Supposedly they're deadly accurate, but they're actually just vague enough so that you can interpret your results as you like.

I've put myself through it three times... only the last one seemed plausible.

Something not meant to be taken seriously though some people can benefit from some form of insight from it. Mine has changed drastically from the previous two that I've done in the past (Your Colorful Personality Part 1 and Part 2). If you're really down with nowhere to go on yourself, it can be something for you to bounce ideas off to get an idea of what it is that needs improving in your life.

Mine was pretty accurate for me.

I lead a vague life.

I did it twice because I was similarly sceptical. The second one (random colours) was nowhere near being accurate.
