yeah, so I downloaded the newest trainer, tested it with 5 save games, and it all works with no crashes.. so your post is pretty much unhelpful as it gives me zero information about your issue or what option is crashing the game, or whatever.

Likely you have version mismatch or some other issue.

The trouble I have is that when I'm in combat mode and I go on a regeint of energy the game crashes and I return to the windows 10 desktop while before I had no problem
