One of the best shooters I've played, right up there with Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2. We'll have to see if Call of Duty Black Ops can beat it this November.

One of the best FPS I have ever played next to BF BC 2, nothing says like a FPS game and a real life war story that makes it into a great game, sure it was short but it is real and not made up with loads of ideas becuz anyone can make a game that is just made up and can make anything happen but this is what you would see if you were in todays wars.

They tried to make a CoD:MW2-like game, and partially succeeded. But still, the gameplay is rather annoying. There are several script bugs (that get you stuck in different areas of the maps) and some half-bugged situations. This really ruins the game. The AI is bad enough and the team members even more dumb. They can throw grenades right in between your whole team. And yes...they're kind of invulnerable.
This game is released too early. A few more months could of turned it into a far better experience.

Joe's review, for sure.
To be honest, since the appearance of these anti-terrorist concepts, Call of Duty franchise just lost it's true colors. EA is self-proclaimed American company which seems to be taking orders (the hell I know) from military? I believe in talent but let's face it, to produce an title with this much detail in combat, for an average/experienced programmer, lead designer, 3d effects, engineer's of all kinds, that's impossible. The screenwriter would have to be involved in or out experienced army servent.
The storyline is hateful toward's Middle East and well, since it's an American game, nobody seem's to be caring about it. In my point of view, these games are almost an simulation. Oh yeah and the retarded ratings for games, it's all hilarious. Any kid playing this game, day to day, will have an mental fracture for non-stop feeding of weapon's. Does anyone even see that???
You know, I was wondering if these manufacturer's ever think what the people of the Middle East actually think? None of those people have enough money to buy a car and granted enough to survive a day with bread & milk.
Unbelievable.
Soldier Of Fortune will always be an original. Massive violence there against terrorism however through out the years the American's evolved the plan to their own liking. Personally, that game was all you ever needed.
