Windows XP requires you to have Service Pack 3. If you do not have it, please go get it.
Here is a possible solution:
1. Open Command Prompt
2. Type in the command: net localgroup Administrators /add Local service
3. Type in the command: net localgroup Administrators
4. If the last command displays LOCAL NT AUTHORITY/SERVICE then you've done this correctly. Restart your computer and try again.
Oh and...
As you are showing me that the problem as to do with shaderapid9x.dll or w/e - I feel it has nothing to do with the game, perhaps.
From his first post, the error code states that the file is executing an access violation. It really pays to actually go and research the error codes and how to read logs.

Yes, shaderapid9x.dll has nothing to do with the game, but with the STEAM client.
It doesn't seem to work... In the videos, they're like... can't even explain... they're like without some of their parts of the body! Some of the parts are transparent, and the guys that tried to get me out of the jail, his face was just like unfinished model. Guess there's something with my video card... in gta 4, the dirt leaves black squares. Hope this information helps you to solve out my problem
