There are 2 reports that Stardew might need a trainer update so it's possible that it behaves the same on Windows. I would recommend filing an update request over on the Stardew page.

Looking like its a steamdeck issue, tried on PC and cheats seem to be working.

Just getting ahead of it. RMXO had a post about Baldur's gate 3 not running on Steam Deck with Steam Tinker Launch. The FAQ covers this

"Game doesn't open, only Aurora opens.

There are many possible solutions which all have worked at one point for me.

-Give it time, I've had games like Tales of Arise take a while to open, sometimes steam is doing something else in the background.
-Force close the app and retry.
-Run the game without STL, then retry with STL, make sure to check you are running the same proton that successfully booted the game.
-Try different protons, if you tried 8.X try a 7.X version, etc.
-Try launching the game via Aurora, click on "Launch game," you might need to go to "trainer settings" and add the games executable to path. Note: some exe will work while others will not, Remnant 2 for example. I need to use the exe found in Remnant2>Binaries>Win64 not the one found in remnant2 folder."
Try the possible solutions. If the game runs with a proton version make sure STL is using the same proton version.

Does this work with steam on regular linux?

I have been testing it with Nobara (Glorious Eggroll's custom spin on Fedora). I got it working with Age of Empires II however whenever I activate the trainer Aurora crashes. In Steam Desktop for Linux there isn't a developer option. Please advise and also great work on getting this working on Linux!

:Update:

I was able to get the original Aurora working with Age of Empires IV running GE Proton and steam tinker launch using the same guide. So yeah Aurora works on all Linux now.

Just have to get it working with flatpak steam... That could prove a bit more tricky.

Have been trying to get remnant 2 to run with aurora but I just keep getting an error about direct x 12 and the game won't open, I'm running it with proton 8 so I don't know what the issue is, new to the whole steam tinker launch

Having issues with another game Craftopia. When I click activate trainer I wait then it freezes, and I can’t do anything in Aurora. I press buttons and it unfreezes but gives me an error.
Connecting to mono pipe failed
Player script error in line 15: ‘oc.ocpl:move+2B’i
I should say it works on pc perfect.

Is this game shown on the Steam store page as being 100% compatible with Steam Deck?
