For everyone having problems with lots of crashes on the Steam version, turn off your steam overlay, has been shown on the Steam forums by a lot of people to fix a ton of the crashing (not sure if it fixes all).

Hi guys. I was able to play game for about an hour, just made it to point where Aloy grew up and made first manual and quick saves. Haven't had any issues yet. Anyway, I do have a side question: When first starting game after initializing for optimal play, it asked me which type of data to send to sony (?), limited or full I think. What did you guys choose? I picked limited. Thoughts appreciated

Wow that sucks, sorry to hear so many having issues.
Thankfully the game has been running smoothly here. I am running on max ultra preset on a Ultra Wide 3440 x 1440 resolution. Using an older 1080Ti, but it pushes things smoothly enough. Getting around 53-80 fps range.
Someone mentioned steam overlay, that may be the issue. I keep Overlay turned off on most games because it is constantly and a reoccurring issue throughout many games. Pretty much any games that are demanding is when you start to see added resource hogging of overlay pull you down further. On easy to push games you never notice it.

ohh forgot to add i have played 4 hours straight and no issues with stuttering and or crashing while playing the game, settings high and 1080p monitor only supports that, and my GFX 1080 could handle high setting no issues.
I am an old gamer and i need my trainers to help me complete them these days so i have started to look at what trainer options i have for my games and Cheat happens tend to not disappoint so thank you for the game enjoyment i can still have.

Game is running flawlessly at 4K (ie, the game ran at 30fps on PS4 Pro, and getting 45+ is fine with GSync) on my ASUS Zephyrus S, which has a 2070M with MaxQ (granted, the Zeph can clock higher than most MaxQ's, but still, it's a mobile chip)
A few framerate chugs, which I am 100% sure Guerrilla will smooth out as they polish things off. Decima on PC is CLEARLY very good, and the game looks stunning. Things pop, colors seem a bit more pronounced (almost too bloomy, but still, gorgeous).
