just curious if theres any mod/hack/cheat that can be done to unlock the difficulty costumes early. don't really have the time to play the game 4 times anytime soon so i was hoping there might be some way.

You have to play the game 4 times to unlock more costumes? Supposedly there's a costume pack coming out Tomorrow...

yeah there's the costume pack tomorrow thats free if your preordered, of course i didn't.
but there are 3 skins that unlock, one for beating on any difficulty, and the other two require beating the entire game on higher difficulties.
would be nice to have them all without having to do all that. info on the skins: www.ign.com/wikis/dmc-devil-may-cry/Unlockables_and_Secrets
*EDIT* Evidently IGN screwed up and the super dante skin is not a skin, it's a perk thats unlocked. that skin is from the skin pack.
the only unlockable one is the coatless dante. so guess i'm buying the costume pack when steam tosses it up.

Doesn't make any sense, because well I pre-ordered the game on Steam. And the only costume that I thought I was going to get is the "Neo Dante" which is the "Coatless Dante" in the link you provided. Also, I noticed that not only did it come with the Neo, but it also came with the Classic DMC3 costume and the "Dark Dante" costume which is the "White-Haired Dante" in the link you provided. What doesn't make sense is, if I received the costumes off the bat, then what is the costume pack that's releasing tomorrow for then? New costumes?
I noticed that the DMC3 costume has an effect of unlimited devil trigger. I wasn't aware of that. Might choose that skin more often.

I never really liked the DMC3 costume, it may have been the old coat and hair but still had the new body and face. It just looks mismatched and wrong to me.

i really hate the white hair look from the older games, i never played them myself, since i dont play consoles, and its a shame cause the costume pack only has 3 extra costumes, and they all have white hair

@kissmejohnjohn: i guess if you preordered you just got the costume pack right then and there, official release date is today/tomorrow for the consoles at least.

I felt the same way Drag, which is why I haven't really chosen the costume in the missions to begin with. But, if what the IGN link was provided is true about the effect of it giving off unlimited devil trigger. Then why not? Quite honestly, I barely used the devil trigger in the game. I felt some type of way because in the previous games I've at least used the devil trigger more than 3 times in a playthrough. Not once have I actually used it. Except for when I wanted to just test it out and see what it's like, and also at the end of the game fighting vergil.
