Red Alert 2:Yuri's Revenge Walkthrough...Allied Mission written by Teslagod2003 e-mail: teslagod2003@yahoo.com Table of Contents ------------------- 1 - Allied Mission Introduction 1.1 Time Lapse 1.2 Hollywood And Vain 1.3 Power Play 1.4 Tomb Raided 1.5 Clones Down Under 1.6 Trick or Treaty 1.7 Brain Dead 2 - Allied Mission Conclusion 3 - Credits -------------------------------------------------------------- 1 - Allied Mission Introduction The Allies are victorious over the soviet invasion and all is at peace...As the allies thought.But somehow Yuri,Premier Romanov's Chief Adviser,is at loose and is building his own armies,psychic enhanced armies.And when the allies found out about this,its too late.But not yet,though.The allies have every hope they have and they'll use everything they've got to stop Yuri from menacing the world with his Psychic Dominator Devices.The allied missions are alot easier than it's soviet counter part. 1.1 Time Lapse Objectives: a.Capture power plants to power the time machine b.Defend the time machine c.Destroy the psychic dominator The allies have one tricky weapon that can change the course of history...Prof.Einstein's time machine.Only one problem,it has no power and you must gather enough Civilian Power Plants to charge it up. As the briefing starts,you'll see that the allied assault on the alcatraz island is failing.When the mission starts you'll notice that you only have a partially protected base and has no construction yard,meaning you can't build any structure.Start creating Guardian GIs and GIs then place them at the north and east of your base,along the guardian GIs,10 more at each location will be enough.Also place the mirage tanks outside of your base,just after passing the ores at the east.Then build 1 engineer and 8 GIs.then use the engineer to repair the mcburger kong near the ores,this will help protect your miner.then builld 1 engineer and 10 GIs.then repair the building west of your base,near the GIs.place your Grizzly tanks here,too.then build 10 Guardian GIs and place them south of the ore purifier.with your base protected,look around and you'll see the first 2 civilian power plants at the south of your base.send 1 of your mirage tank near this place,just within the trees.the mirage tank should take care of initiates here.take them out piece by piece.dont forget not to move while firing.just move when you run out of targets.once all resistance around these 1st 2 power plants,build 2 IFVs and 2 engineer(place the engineers at the IFVs),then send them at the power plants.the 2 engineer should grab the power plants and the IFVs should be enough to protect it.then you'll see another 2 set of power plants just south this power plants.build 2 IFVs,2 Guardian GIs and 2 engineers.place the Guardian GIs and the engineers at the IFV.why put Guardian GI on the IFV if they have same weapon?that's because Guardian GI IFV has a longer range than the ordinary IFV.then send the mirage tank at 1st 2 power plant near the another set of power plants,just remember keep the mirage tank out of the gattling cannon's range.then send your guardian GI IFV and repair IFVs at same place where the mirage tank is.the guardian GI IFV should have no problem taking out the gattling cannon.if you feel that you need another mirage tank to be send at this place,then do so.1 mirage tank should be enough to take out the initiates attacking at ores at the east.once the resistance at the another set of power plants are taken care of,send the guardian GI IFV around the golden gate bridge.and send the repair IFV close to the power plants and dont capture the power plants,yet.build about dozen of IFVs and dozen of guardian GIs,the guardian GIs should be placed at the IFVs.the send them at golden gate bridge.the when all is set,grab the power plants.the game should pause and time shift you.once you're time shifted,you'll notice there are lots of soviet forces around.including the kirov,the apocalypse tanks and dreadnaughts...this is the very reason you placed the guardian GI IFVs at the golden gate bridge.just hang on for some time till tanya is ready.once tanya is ready send her out to the alcatraz island to destroy the osychis dominator.pay some attention to the soviets,the soviets may kill her,but doesnt muchly matter at all.if tanya dies....you will be reinforced with a group of aircraft carriers.taking out the psychic dominator is your main objective,once it's destroyed...mission is complete. 1.2 Hollywood And Vain Objectives: a.Destroy all grinders b.Destroy all yuri buildings Hint:Not all civilians have been mind controlled.Some of them may even be able to help you in the coming battle. Your next mission will take you at the california coast to L.A.yuri has mind controlled the citizens of L.A. and he's feeding them on his grinders,turning them into raw materials for his war effort.your objective is to stop yuri from slaughtering the civilians(by destroying the grinders) and destroying yuri's forces at L.A. There are 4 grinders(each time you destroy a grinder,you'll get a money crate) and you'll start with small force consisting only of an MCV,5 GIs and 5 Guardian GIs.deploy the guardian GIs slight north of the MCV,while the GIs should garrison the immediate building north and start building your base in earnest.build a barracks first,after you build a power plant.then build an ore refinery.while building an ore refinery,start building GIs to garrison the buildings around your base.add some pillboxes as well.keep flint westwood in the center of the base,keeping him away from the tanks,and only sending him out to take out some infantry units.then build a war factory and quicly churn out 2 more miners.build additional power plants and an airforce command center.then when u have built an airforce command center,build about 6 rocketeers and a dog.send the rocketeers to destroy the grinder and all the yuri forces on the very east of your base.keep the rocketeers away from the gattling tanks when it is around.then send the dog to take the crate after you destroy the grinder.then have them all back to your base.if you can,build some harriers,a couple would do.but four is better.then use them to strike on the grinder nearest to the LAX.you actually dont intend to destroy it with the harrier,but just waking arnie frankenfurther,and have him destroy everything around that area.then send him to your base.let him stay in your base for awhile.then build a tech center/battle lab.once you have built the tech center.a small reinforcement will be sent to you,introducing the battle fortress.its accompanied by 2 GIs and 3 guardian GIs.send them and deploy along with the guardian GIs north of the MCV.then build a single or couple of spy and use them to infiltrate the yuri barracks within the grinder.but have the spy accompanied by arnie frankenfurther,for safety cause.once you have infiltrated the barracks(which should give some of your infantry an immediate veteran level once built),have arnie meet sly stallone and make them demolish that area,including the grinder.then send them north near the grinders,pay particular attention to the garrisoned buildings,u can use either the harriers or the rocketeers to clear it out(i suggest the rocketeers coz they also can quickly take out the initiates).when arnie and sly are near the last grinder area,make your move wisely.first,sly can easily take out structures,so have him take out the structures while arnie would take out the tanks and infantry around.once the last grinder is taken out....you'll be informed of your last objective,destroy all yuri structures.this won't be easy coz yuri has lots of structures around.but there's a way to deal with it.first build a force of 10 prism tanks and 6 mirage tanks.while you're gathering prism tanks and mirage tanks,build a couple of chrono legionnaires and guardian GIs and a single seal.have them fill the battle fortress.also dont forget a reapir IFV(engineer and IFV),a couple would be nice.once you're all set and ready,send the mentioned force north east,remember the place where the last grinder is...there's an entrance to the higher ground immediate east of it.through there you can make your way to the main base of yuri,far north of your base.first have the prism tanks take out everything they can quickly,while the mirage tanks and the battle fortress stand guard and the repair IFV always ready to repair any damaged vehicle.Your intention should be taking out the yuri conyard(construction yard) quickly,or else yuri will keep rebuilding every structure he lost.once the MCV is gone take out the barracks and the war factory then everything else.once the base is wiped out,send your force west,you can take out the barracks and the war factory there from the higher ground.once yuri has no more conyard,barracks and war factory,he'll sell off everything giving you immediate victory...mission is complete. *Destroying yuri's forces at LAX would give you paratroopers reinforcement also grabbing the tech machine shop will give your vehicles an auto repair which should free you of repair IFVs. 1.3 Power Play Objectives: a.Destroy yuri's nuclear silo b.Liberate massivesoft campus In an effort to add funds to his war effort,yuri moves to seattle,washington.he has taken over the massivesoft campus and has holded the massivesoft engineers to work on a special project...a form of genetic software.chairman bing,CEO of massivesoft campus,is being hold hostage by yuri and treatening to nuke seattle if the CEO doesn't fund yuri. You won't be able to construct any struture.so you must rely on your instinc and will to win.Yuri has a nuclear missile silo and you have the allies' own weather control device.you'll strike first but you must hold for a moment.do the following first before you hit yuri with your super weapon....start bulding as much IFVs as you can,then move all your unit a bit north,just near the space needle,then garrison the space needle with your initials GIs(this will give you a full view of the map,just like an spy sat).and send your engineers quickly west of your base to take the oil derricks(this is your only cash resource).once you'ved done these so....hit yuri with your super weapon....and hit him at the north of his nuclear silo....where you could take out his bio reactors and his battle lab.yuri will hit you with his nuclear missile at your base,taking out your war factory and your 3 power plants.this will cut your power.you must level up with yuri by taking his own power plants.there's a quick one just immediate northeast of the space needle.and use all your forces to take out the resistance and have an engineer take the power plant.you must make sure your snipers are at IFVs and they are on good position on hitting yuri's incoming attacks northeast and northwest.once you got this civilian power plant,you'll get your power back on-line and cutting yuri's power off-line.yuri will try to retake that power plant with full fierce.a couple of sniper IFVs and a dozen of guardian GIs(deployed)would be enough.but you need all your forces to stay on that civilian power plant.and you also need to protect your own initial civilian power plants.the initial forces around each power plants should be enough but psi-corpse and virus snipers are always a headache.so send the IFVs to your barracks and fill them with snipers,then send them back.also build around 12 GIs and a trio of engineers.send the 12 engineers near the tech machine shop and have then take 2 buildings around the tech machine shop(having 6 GIs at each buildings).send 1 engineer to grab the tech machine shop.then send your other 2 engineers east,where you'll find a war factory and another civilian power plant.grab both buildings with your engineers.then build 6 IFVs,2 snipers and 4 guardian GIs quickly.once your super weapon is ready to strike hit the barracks then the war factory for your next strike,and just hit any target you want on the coming next lightning storms.once you got 6 IFVs,send them to your barracks and place your 4 guardian GIs and 2 snipers in the IFVs.them send them just a bit ahead of the power plant you'ved first taken from yuri(near the massivesoft campus).here's the trick....have the sniper IFV shoot at any yuri tank,then that tank will come to attack the sniper IFV,luring the tank to your guardian GI IFVs.do this tank by tank.once the yuri units are cleared at the massivesoft campus,you'll get a trio of crate.quickly take them for additional cash.you just have 1 last thing to do....destroy yuri's nuclear silo.so build about dozen of grizzly tanks.have them join the sniper IFVs and guardian GI IFVs.then send them to the south of the space needle.and through there make your way west and take out any yuri units.then when you reach yuri's power plant at the southern most of his nuclear silo,move north,again take out all yuri units.your attack force should be enough to cut through his forces and to take out the nuclear silo.once the nuclear silo is destroyed....mission is complete. 1.4 Tomb Raided Objectives: a.Destroy the bio reactors around the great pyramid to rescue einstein b.Destroy yuri's base With yuri's plant to blackmail seattle fails,yuri takes his chances by kindapping prof.einstein and forcing him to help him improve the psychic dominator.the professor is being held at one of yuri's base at egypt.yor task is to rescue the professor.tanya will be assisting you for this mission. You must start building your base in earnest.build up to war factory and air force command center.while you're bulding your base,yuri attacks you from the north and east.protect your base with pilboxes and some guardian GIs.there's an oil field on the far east of your base.put 5 engineers to your elite nighthawk transport,then send it to the east.take out the resistance using the nighthawk.once cleared...take all 5 derricks.and put up about 5 power plants and atleast 4-6 prism tower.i suggest putting the prism towers on the very east of the field and inside the wall.the power plants should be placed on this field.also put up a couple of sniper IFVs and a single repair IFV to your base,once you have a war factory and an airforce command center.dont build harriers,you wont need them and its just a waste of good cash.also add about 8 more tank destroyers,where you'll have 12 tank destroyers..putting them 4 on north of the conyard,4 in front/east of the conyard and 4 on the south of the conyard.also fully build your base(putting a spy sat is best).once your base and the derricks are safe,send tanya to swim to the great pyramid.there's a single barrel,shoot it and tanya will have a good entrance to that base.enter tanya to the base and destroy all the bio reactors.once all bio-reactors are destroyed,this will shut down the power on this base,professor eintein will be transported out.you will have new mission objective,destroy all remaining yuri forces.plus you'll be able to use the psychic dominator(if you didn't destroy it),use it wisely.coz you'll only use it once and it'll blow up after some time.start building a force of 6 prism tanks,4 tank destroyers,and 2 sniper IFVs.once the psychic dominator is ready,if you build an spy sat you'll see that yuri have a good group of tanks in his larger base,north of the derricks.mind control them and use them to blow up yuri's conyard,war factory and barracks(do it in order of the list).it doesnt matter if they are attacked and destroyed,they should be able to do the job.then send your attack force on this base and destroy everything.also have tanya destroy everything on the pyramid area.build some rocketeers(about 6 is enough) and have them to destroy the slave miners.search around the map for any remaining yuri forces,once all yuri's forces are destroyed...mission is complete. 1.5 Clones Down Under Objectives: a.Find and destroy yuri's cloning vats b.Destroy yuri's remaining forces Allied spy sattelites have detected a huge lab in australia.allied spies confirms that this is where yuri has his cloning facility.yuri's plan,now is unbelievable.using his cloning vats,he'll clone key allied leaders while he kidnap the real leaders.this must not be allowed to happen. This going to be hard beacuse you'll mostly lack in funds for the entire mission.yuri will be attacking you from both land and water,even from air with his paradrops.first,you need a couple more destroyers to hold yuri's boomers from annihilating your base.put up lots of pillboxes around your base.then build up your base quickly.while your building your base,garrison the 3 buildings around your base.force the miners to mine gems first,you'll need a quick cash.add a couple more miners to assist in gathering your resources.dont build another refinery,you'll need to complete your base in earnest.why?coz mirage tanks are really defense units,plus yuri clones,dont muchly mind controil them mainly because they are stealth units.also spies are really useful here.build about 4 spies,then send the spies carefully to infiltrate yuri's slave miners,which should help increase your funds.somehow,the korean fleet will aid you by destroying yuri's 2 sub pen,this also triggers that you'ved destroyed all yuri boomer subs.when you'ved completed your base,build a force of 4 mirage tanks,8 GIs and an engineer.send them south east at the tech machine shop.grab the tech machine shop and put the 2 mirage tanks north and 2 mirage tanks south of the machine shop.then garrison the nearby building.put up 4 prism towers around the machine shop.add up prism towers to your base defense,also.then build a force of 6 prism tanks,a single seal,2 guardian GIs,2 chrono legionnaires and a battle fortress.put the seal,guardian GIs and chrono legionnaires in the battle fortress.send your attack force to the machine shop and have the mirage tanks add up to your attack force.then send them south of the machine shop,where yuri has a small base.build a barracks near the machine shop and make it your primary building.as usual,use the prism tanks to destroy every targets,while the battle fortress and the mirage tanks stand as defense.dont destroy all building here.capturing yuri's conyard is worth taking.because yuri has virus sniper,which is usefull taking out infantries as well as yuri clones.if you taken yuri's conyard here,build up a base on this area,consisting of yuri buildings.if don't really want to capture any yuri buildings here,just destroy everything that yuri has in this area.then build another airforce command center,you'll need 8 black eagles.then send your attack force south and destroy all yuri's buildings with your prism tanks.once you have 8 black eagles,have them destroy yuri's conyard.once all yuri's buildings and forces are destroyed...mission is complete. 1.6 Trick Or Treaty Objectives: a.Defend the parliament from assault b.Destroy Yuri's base The good news...by this time the war with the soviets is over,allied leaders are now signing a treaty with the soviets.they are meeting in london at the parliament building.But the bad news...is that yuri is still at large and has found out about this treaty by using his psychic ability on liutenant eva.your task is to stop yuri from ruining the treaty. You'll be attacked by yuri with all possible units he has.this wont be easy but just hang tight and pull yourself together.the good thing is that you have some time before yuri attacks.as soon as the briefing ends,and you can gain battle control...quickly deploy the MCV where it is and send all your initial forces out to the farthest central east of the map,where you'll find 3 oil derricks.capture all derricks(build another engineer,since you only have 2 engineers),then the GIs should garrison the buildings around it(build more GIs).the grizzly tanks and the guardian GIs should stay near the derricks.put some pillbox,patriot missile towers and prism towers around the oil derricks.start quickly building your base in earnest and build all needly structures except for the robot control center.build a barracks first before you build a refinery,since you have lots of initial funds.then turn out 20 GIs,and have them occupy the two buildings near the parliament.you must build your base pushing towards the parliament and the central bridge.you'll also need a naval shipyard.build 6 destroyers and 2 aegis cruiser.and keep them away from the central bridge but they must be just around that area.you'll need additional 2 or 3 chrono miners.build 12 mirage tanks,send 6 near the northern bridge and the other 6 near the southern bridge.build some pillbox and 4 prism towers within the central bridge.thats all you'll need to defend the parliament.but if you'll still need some more defenses or armies...build them.after some time,you'll be informed that the treaty has been signed.and you'll get some soviet reinforcement which will be under your control.the map will be resized and you'll see the london base of yuri...you need to destroy it and all of yuri forces in london.build 6 more destroyers.then send them north near yuri's sub pen along with the 2 dreadnaughts,paying some attetion to yuri's boomer subs.build another engineers and capture the oil derrick on the farthest north of your base.put up a single refinery on that area and have your miners mine the ores there.once your destroyers and dreadnaughts come near yuri's sub pen,have the dreadnaughts destroy the sub pen.then anihilate yuri's base from the water.have the destroyers stay near the dreadnaughts for some cover from whatever may yuri send to attack the dreadnaughts.start knocking yuri's gattling cannons then hit on yuri's conyard.then hit on the barracks.then hit on yuri's bio reactors.you wont easily take out yuri's war factory if his power is online.once yuri's power is offline,take out the war factory.without the conyard,barracks and war factory...yuri ain't goin to just sit down and wait for miracle,he'll sell off all his structures and have all his remaining forces attack you.let him come to your nicely protected base,where he'll meet the end of his dream to ruin the the treaty.once all yuri's buildings and forces are destroyed...mission is complete. 1.7 Brain Dead Objectives: a.Build a soviet radar dish b.Destroy the psychic dominator in antartica c.Destroy yuri's forces With his defeat at london,yuri is gone hiding and may planning to hit back strong next time.luckily,lt.eva is back to the team and has given a very vital information.by triangulating the sources of yuri's transmissions,she's able to pin point yuri's location,at antartica,where yuri is currently holed up.now you come to it atlast,the last war that will end up yuri's madness. The mission start with 5 engineers paradroping to and abandonned soviet base.send 1 engineer at the conyard and another to the tesla reactor.send 1 up north,where you'll find an oil derrick.another 1 to the farthest west,where you'll find a tech machine shop.capture both tech buildings.the last 1 should stay in your base.start building your base up to the war factory and repair depot,don't build a radar dish yet(building a radar dish will trigger yuri to attack fiercely,and you wont survive it,trust me,you really wont survive it).destroy the tents and the comminication center around your base(the others will say repair them and garrison them,but not me).instead put up battle bunkers just out side the walls of your base,4 on th west and 4 on the east.your structures should be near the wall,so that you can put up the bunkers outside the wall.and fully garrison the bunkers with conscripts.build an additional war miner to assist on gathering resources.fully explore tiera del fuego(thats the name of the island where your forces are at,right now)...find a spot to build a naval shipyard.then turn out 6 subs and a single amphibius transport.then send the amphibius transport on your base and build a war miner.put the war miner and the engineer(you still have 1 right) into the transport and send them east and explore towards north east.pre-build a refinery but dont place it yet.you'll find an island in the east.your engineer should grab the derrick in there and place your pre-built refinery here.now all you have to build is a radar dish,but dont build it yet,like i said before,yuri will begin knocking you out with full fierce once you put up a radar dish.instead,build 4 rhino tanks and 4 MCV.also put up about 4 tesla reactors south of your base.and place around 6-12 flak cannons on the south of your base.once you have 4 rhino tanks,send them west and have them destroy much of the trees there by force firing on the trees(holding ctrl key will force attack).and deploy the MCVs on th west,either to the east of the tech machine shop or on the higher ground north of the tech machine shop.why do this,this is pathtetic...because this will allow you to build structures alot faster.then build about 4 war factory(and additional barracks,though you won't really muchly need it...its just up to you if you want to put additional barracks).this will also allow you build vehicles faster.then just wait up till you got a cash load of 20,000....then build a radar dish.now start building as quick as you can.beaxause your map is enlarged and yuri has genetic mutator and psychic dominator.the genetic mutator is not to worry,as long as you don't have any infantry around.the problem will be the psychic dominator.build a battle lab,nuclear reactor,and industrial plant.once you can build kirovs,build a force of 6-8 kirovs.some time after you built radar dish,your reinforcement be chronoshifted at the very northwest of a much larger island on the south.build up allied tech structures quickly,grand cannons are great defense structure.build a chronosphere as soon as you gain access to it.and build a force of 6-8 prism tanks.just hang tight,now.use the kirovs to destroy the genetic mutator,then keep the kirovs away on a safe area,after the genetic mutator is destroyed.then when your chronoshift is ready,chronoshift the prism tanks on the farthest southeast of the map(if you built a spy sat,then you'll know where to send it right),just outside the wall protecting the psychic dominator,and have them destroy the psychic dominator.once the genetic mutator and the psychic dominator are gone,you just have very few things to do,that is to wipe out all of yuri's buildings and forces.now,build a force of 6-8 mirage tanks,12-15 prism tanks,snd sbout 12 or more tesla troopers.these forces should be produced at your allied base on the same island where yuri's base is.then send them southeast and take have the prism tanks take out everything(even the slave miners) while the mirage tanks stand as guard and the tesla troopers for any magnetrons.and also build 2-4 aircraft carriers or dreadnaughts,if you only want,and have them destroy everything you can from the water.you could also use the surviving kirovs you have left,after destroying the genetic mutator,to destroy everything it can.now its just a matter of time till you can destroy all of yuri's forces and buildings.once all yuri's buildings and forces are destroyed...mission is complete. -------------------------------------------------------------- 2 - Allied Mission Conclusion When you finished the last allied mission,Brain Dead....an ending movie will be showed...where yuri is taken into professor eintein's psychic isolation chamber.where he'll be kept away from psychic madness.and after general carville will say...HE WONT MIND CONTROL A FLY....the 2 timelines will be merging.1 series of event should take presidence over the other.then you'll be brought back to where the president is meeting with his staff.then somehow gen.carville will pop out of the monitor instead of yuri.Now,the allies is victories over both the soviets and yuri.you will also see tanya and lt.eva on their gown. -------------------------------------------------------------- 3 -
