Giant Snake  
 
Description: 
A giant snake 
 
Location: 
First Encounter: Get the "Nose less" Death Mask 
Second Encounter: Get the Wolf Medal 
 
How to Defeat: 
Use any weapon and fire at the body of the snake. 
 
Number of Hits to Defeat: 
Six to eight shots or stabs. 
 
Note: 
The snake will always poison Chris before escaping during the first encounter

Giant Spider  
 
Basic Directions: 
Find the Hexagonal Crank then use the crank to shift a tunnel and enter a room 
with a Giant Spider. 
 
Pre-requisites: 
None 
 
Detailed Directions: (9 Steps) 
1. After getting the Cylinder Shaft, walk back to the metal grate on the floor, and 
then go to the door in the back. 
 
2. Enter the door, follow the tunnel, and then search the team member's body to 
get the Hexagonal Crank. 
 
3. Walk back up the tunnel, open the door, walk forward, then walk to the right 
and enter the door. 
 
4. Walk up the steps, follow the left tunnel, enter the door, and then follow the 
tunnel path to the end. 
 
4. Face the panel on the left wall, then open the status screen and select the 
Hexagonal Crank. 
 
5. Use the crank on the panel to rotate a section of the tunnel wall, then walk up 
and enter the door. 
 
6. Face the left wall, presses the A Button to get the Flamethrower, and then 
follow the path to the huge boulder. 
 
7. Walk back up the path to make the boulder dislodge, then run up the side 
path to avoid getting crushed. 
 
8. Follow the tunnel the same way the boulder rolled, and then enters the 
double doors at the end. 
 
9. Use the Magnum to defeat the Giant Spider after it drops from the ceiling

Neptune  
 
Description: 
A huge shark. 
 
Location: 
Found in the shark poolroom when trying to get the Gallery Key. 
 
How to Defeat: 
1. Enter the drained shark poolroom, and then walk to the back part of the room 
to a Huge Shark. 
 
2. Walk down the steps, walk past the Huge Shark, then stand next to the metal 
platform and climb up. 
 
3. Walk over to the open box in the corner of the platform to wake the Huge 
Shark, making it thrash.  
 
4. After the platform is jostled, stand in front of the panel to the right of the box, 
and then push it into the water. 
 
5. Turn and face the panel to the left, press the A Button, then select yes to pull 
the lever to electrocute Neptune. 
 
Number of Hits to Defeat: 
Non

Plant 42  
 
1 after solving the red book puzzle, enter the door that was behind the bookshelf 
that moves aside. 
 
2. After the cut-scene with Plant 42, climb up the stairs to the balcony, and then 
face the plant. 
 
3. Equip the shotgun, shoot the plant twice, the plant bulb will close and the 
long vines will lash out. 
 
4. Avoid the vines until the plant bulb opens, then shoot the plant twice to make 
the bulb close. 
 
5. Continue to shoot the center bulb of the plant twice, and then avoid the vines 
until the plant is defeated

Red Zombie  
 
Description: 
A larger than normal zombie that is a dark red color. 
 
Location: 
Found from the coffin in the crypt when getting the Stone and Metal Object. 
 
How to Defeat: 
Equip the Shotgun then shoot the Red Zombie. 
 
Number of Hits to Defeat: 
3-4 shots 
 
Note: 
After the Red Zombie appears, there will be some Shotgun Ammo to the right of 
the coffin

Rooftop Tyrant  
 
Description: 
A large, mutated man with one large clawed hand. 
 
Location: 
Found on the rooftop of the mansion at the end of the game, if Rebecca or Barry 
lived during either scenario. 
 
How to Defeat: 
1. Use any ranged weapon and shoot the Tyrant to stop him from attacking 
Barry or Rebecca. 
 
2. After hitting the Tyrant, stand still until the Tyrant starts charge, then run to the 
side. 
 
3. Run to the other side of the roof, shoot the Tyrant, then run to the side when 
the Tyrant charges again. 
 
4. After so many hits, the helicopter pilot will drop the Rocket Launcher onto the 
roof. 
 
5. Pick up the Rocket Launcher, equip it, then fire it at the Tyrant to finish it off 
 
Number of Hits to Defeat: 
the Tyrant will take six to eight hits until the Rocket Launcher is dropped

Shackled Monster  
 
Description: 
A tall, misshapen creature with large square shackles around its wrists. 
 
Location: 
This monster appears in various spots in the game. 
 
How to Defeat: 
1. After the cut-scene when trying to open the stone coffin, avoid the Shackled 
Monster.  
 
2. Stand next to any of the stone slabs at the corners of the platform. 
 
4. Push the stone slab off of the platform, avoid the monster, and then proceed 
to push the next stone slab. 
 
4. After all four stone slabs have been pushed off the stone coffin will open. 
 
5. The monster will reach into the coffin, grab a skull, and then jump off the 
platform. 
 
Number of Hits to Defeat: 
None 
 
Note: 
At any other point, other than when trying to open the stone coffin, simply run 
past the Shackled Monster. Do not waste ammunition on it

Tyrant  
 
Description: 
A large, mutated man with one large clawed hand. 
 
Location: 
Found in a lab when Jill or Chris is trying to defeat the Tyrant. 
 
How to Defeat: 
1. Run away, down the middle of the glass tubes, and then stop when there is a 
good view of the Tyrant approaching. 
 
2. Equip the Assault Shotgun as Chris or the Grenade Launcher as Jill, then fire 
one shot at the Tyrant. 
 
3. After firing a shot, run away again until another good view of the Tyrant 
approaching appears. 
 
4. Continue to fire one shot, then run to the other side to set up for the next shot 
until the Tyrant is defeated.  
 
Tips: 
Do not run too far ahead of the Tyrant, as he will turn and come at Chris from 
the other direction. 
 
When shooting, pick a screen that gives Chris time to see the Tyrant coming, so 
he can turn and run after the shot.
