At the beginning of the game, if you try to go to the Westside of town, you'll find her looking for a contact lens. She'll tell you not to move because you may step on it. Of course, try to move and "squish", you broke her lens. She'll block off the Westside entrance until you buy her a new lens. Go into the Shop beside her house and talk to the owner. He'll order a contact lens for you. Complete the first Chapter and then go back to the shop. It will be the first item on the shelf. Give it to Zess T. and she'll go back into her house and now she will cook for you. Now she'll only cook one item at a time, but if you give her the Cookbook, she'll do two at a time. The Cookbook is found in Creepy Steeple. As soon as you enter the Steeple, go into "Tube Mode". Go right for about 2 seconds and you'll see a low gap. Go forward to enter it. Once inside, open the chests until you find the Cookbook. On the pause menu, go to Journal, and scroll down to Recipes. Press A to open up a screen with a whole bunch of squares on it. This is the hardest thing to complete in the entire game. Why? Because you have to go through 100 Battles (about 4 enemies each) and you cannot save until you get past the Final level. Before going near the Pit of 100 Trials, go to the Trouble Centre. At the bottom there is a guy named Swob. Take on his trouble. Meet him in Fahr Outpost and he'll tell you to erase some graffiti on the 50th level. Now go find the Pit of 100 Trials. The Pit of 100 Trials is located beneath Rogueport. Go to the west side of Rogueport and use "Paper Mode" to enter the sewers through the grate. Go to the floor and in the back right corner of the room there is a pipe. Enter the pipe. It will bring you to a room with two levels. Use "Paper Mode" to go through the fence and fall to the bottom level, or walk around and go down the stairs to the bottom level. Use Flurrie to blow away the wall near the stairs. There should be a pipe behind it. Enter the pipe. Now you are at the entrance to the Pit of 100 Trials. In the middle of the room is the pipe that will bring you into the Pit. At the back of the room is the exit from the Pit and a sign telling you Deepest Level Reached:___ Record Power Bounces:___ Star Pieces ___/100. If you go right, you'll end up at the Thousand Year door. Before entering the pipe in the middle make sure you have mastered the Superguard, Power Bouncing, and other battle tactics. Recommended Badges: Charge Charge P Power Bounce Multibounce Piercing Blow Zap Tap Quick Change Ice Power Spike Shield Feeling Fine Feeling Fine P Recommended Items: Jelly Ultra (about 2 or 3 and if you are really lacking confidence, take 4 or 5) (try to save your Thunder Rage items until after Boo's Sheet Level 80) You really don't need to start using FP until, at the very least, Level 30. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE HEALING ITEMS OR "SWEET FEAST". Every 10th Level there will be a Badge or Item to help you. There is also an emergency exit. Charlieton (a guy from way far away who sells things to you) may also be there. The deeper you are, the higher his prices are. Throughout the Pit are Punies called "Movers". These "Movers" will give you 3 choices: 1. Go down 2 levels, 5 coins(Maybe, I don't use it) 2. Go down 5 levels, 30 coins 3. Go back to the entrance 10 coins(I don't use this one either so if the coins are wrong, sorry) If you have enough coins, go down 5 levels. It makes getting down to the bottom a whole hell of a lot easier. ***************************************************************************** ***If you see a blank spot in the list below, that means I used a "Mover".*** ***************************************************************************** When you enter you will be in a room underground. There will always be one enemy onscreen. That enemy will be in front on the Battle Screen. The enemies that come with it can vary though. I'll put the on-screen enemy and the enemies that showed when I played it last just to give you an idea of what to prepare for and what partner to get out. As you come out of the pipe, look for the enemy. Move in the opposite direction so you can quickly use your Ultra Hammer. This is very useful in the beginning because you can kill all the enemies usually with that one hit. Be careful though, Ultra Hammer does NOT work on any of the Wizzerds. You are almost done! Make sure you have at least one Thunder Rage. And "Hardest Enemies" are coming up next. Hopefully, if your lucky, you'll get a "Mover". Level 91: Elite Wizzerd, Elite Wizzerd, Swampire Level 92: (sorry. got a "Mover" here) Level 93: Level 94: Level 95: Level 96: Level 97: Bob-Ulk, Bob-ulk, Elite Wizzerd **Level 98: Swampire, Elite Wizzerd, Amazy Dayzee, Amazy Dayzee. In this Battle, there should be 2 Amazy Dayzees. Use Supernova (15 Damage) and then use a Thunder Rage. Both of the Amazy Dayzees will be defeated and depending on what level you are at already, you will at least get 80 Star Points and so you should level up. Level 99: Elite Wizzerd, Poison Puff, Poison Puff. (if you just leveled up, try not to take too much damage in this battle) **Level 100: Bonetail. Beware of this boss. He is stronger than the Shadow Queen. His maximum HP is 200, Attack Power is 8, and his Defense is 2. Hopefully you have just leveled up! I recommend Bobbery because he can use Bomb-ombast to do major damage. Charge for like 20 turns, if you can afford it and you know you won't die, and then use a Power Bounce. Also use Supernova a lot, because it does 15 damage. Bonetail has many different attacks, all with a Power of 8. Learn how to guard these attacks(forget Superguarding cuz it just doesn't work). If you manage to beat him then !!WOOT!! Congrats to you! He'll drop the "Return Postage" Badge that makes enemies take 1/2 the damage that they deal to you. Now go to the pipe at the back of the room. use it to get back to the entrance. Go right and go to the Thousand-Year Door room and SAVE. Now head back to Rogueport and go heal. If you want, stock up on items again and put the "Return Postage" badge on and go through the Pit again. Bonetail won't be back but if you want to level up, this is the place to do it. ............ ·Conclusion· ············ Well, this concludes my very first FAQ.
