(Introduction)========================================================== ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hello everyone! I am Jaxx4059. This FAQ is for Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life. I have made this FAQ for you people who need a seed chart for all the seasons. This FAQ will help you and even me. I this FAQ will help a lot of you Harvest Moon fans. This FAQ will have the info of the crop and the season that they grow in. It will also have what soil they grow in and how fast they grow. I may also add to this FAQ of certain things that they can grow or the crops to be used in or as. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ III. (Crop Information)===================================================== ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ You can buy crops from anyone of the Plantation Farm. You are able to buy them from Celia, Marlin, and Vesta. These are the only 3 people that you can buy seeds from. They sell a variety of seeds. They have from Sweet Potatoes, to Grape Seeds, which will grow into a tree. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ IV. (Crop Chart)============================================================ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This may be a little hard to understand so I will try to give a more better explanation. Going from left to right the crop on the right is when it begins to be able to grow. So if it begins with Winter, it goes back to spring and goes till whenever it ends in the next year. If you need help and/or don’t understand what this chart is saying you can always email me at MPax4059@cox.net and ask me some questions or to correct me too if I am wrong on anything. Hope this chart helps. ------------------------- a) Fruit Graph========== ------------------------- |-------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Spring | Summer | Fall | Winter | |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Tomato | Tomato | Tomato | ------ | |------------------|------------------|----------------|------------------| | Watermelon | Watermelon | ------ | ------ | |------------------|------------------|----------------|------------------| | Strawberry | ------ | Strawberry | Strawberry | |------------------|------------------|----------------|------------------| | ------ | Turnip | Turnip | Turnip | |------------------|------------------|----------------|------------------| | ----- | Melon | Melon | ----- | |------------------|------------------|----------------|------------------| | Potato | ------ | ------ | Potato | |------------------|------------------|----------------|------------------| | ------ | ------ | Carrot | Carrot | |------------------|------------------|----------------|------------------| | ------------ | ------------ | Sweet Potato | ------------ | |-------------------------------------------------------------------------| ------------------------- b) Tree Graph=========== ------------------------- N/A means that there is no fruit growing on the tree in that season. Harvest In this FAQ means that that is when the fruit starts growing on the tree. When you plant a tree you do not have to water it at ANY TIME after being planted. Also, Trees will never die and/or never wilt. Once a tree looks simi-large, you have to wait one more season till it is fully grown. You will know when it is fully grown because once you go up to the tree, instead of it saying "look" for the "A" button; it will say "Move". Growing: With no help and only basic waterings, it takes 30 days to fully grow. Just in time for it to be harvested in its respective seasons. BTW, it won't grow during its harvest season, so choose the planting time with care. |-------------------------------------------------------------------------| | Spring | Summer | Fall | Winter | |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | N/A | Peach (Harvest) | N/A | N/A | |------------------|------------------|----------------|------------------| | N/A | Orange (Harvest) | N/A | N/A | |------------------|------------------|----------------|------------------| | N/A | N/A |Grapes (Harvest)| N/A | |------------------|------------------|----------------|------------------| | N/A | Banana (Harvest) | N/A | N/A | |------------------|------------------|----------------|------------------| | N/A | N/A | Apple (Harvest)| N/A | |-------------------------------------------------------------------------| ------------------------- C) Price Graph ====== ------------------------- Just remember, all the prices listed below, are selling prices only. Thay are NOT buying prices. Also, all the prices listed below, are just for B ranks. B raink, is all I have tight now. I hope this part of the FAQ helps you. And dont get confused, again this is just selling, not buying prices, of B rank crops. |-----------------------------------------------------------------| | Name | $ per B Rank Bag | $ per B Rank Fruit | |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Apple | 410 G | 25 G | |------------------|-----------------------|----------------------| | Banana | 750 G | 35 G | |------------------|-----------------------|----------------------| | Carrot | 15 G | 40 G | |------------------|-----------------------|----------------------| | Grape | 450 G | 35 G | |------------------|-----------------------|----------------------| | Melon | 25 G | 70 G | |------------------|-----------------------|----------------------| | Orange | 410 G | 30 G | |------------------|-----------------------|----------------------| | Peach | 560 G | 40 G | |------------------|-----------------------|----------------------| | Potato | 20 G | 60 G | |------------------|-----------------------|----------------------| | Strawberry | 15 G | 35 G | |------------------|-----------------------|----------------------| | Sweet Potato | 20 G | 60 G | |------------------|-----------------------|----------------------| | Tomato | 15 G | 35 G | |------------------|-----------------------|----------------------| | Turnip | 10 G | 25 G | |------------------|-----------------------|----------------------| | Watermelon | 30 G | 75 G | |-----------------------------------------------------------------| ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ V. (Tips and Tricks)======================================================== ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This part of the FAQ MAY contain spoilers so don’t say that I didn’t warn you. If you think that one of the tips or tricks is a large spoiler, please e-mail me and tell me so I can remove it. Also if one of them is false, e-mail me again and I will remove it as soon as possible. This part of the FAQ does not contain any LARGE spoilers. So don’t be too scared to look. As of now there are no spoilers at all. I will update this when there are large or any spoilers in this FAQ section. - - - - - - - - - - - Tip: Easy Money From Crops Get a seek maker and put in any of the tree seeds. Sell the seeds instead of the fruit. For example. Grapes sell for about 35, but the seeds sell for 450 or so. So really it is much more to plant a tree orchard, get the seed maker, then just sell the seeds instead of the crop. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Tip: Make 1,000,000 In One Season Taken from the gameFAQ HM: AWL Boards (User: Fullgore EXE) COSTS Peach = 1120 Banana = 1500 Orange = 820 All Together = 3440 MIX THESE WITH TARTAR Orange + Peach = Ramunge Banana + Peach = Mangeramu Ramunge + Mangeramu = No Name Tree With 7.5 of those trees, you can make 500,000g in summer With 15 of those trees, you can get 1,000,000g's in one season. Amazing. Each tree produces 24 fruits per season. Put four fruits into the seed maker, get 8 seeds. Plant them and next year, be prepared to get LOTS of money. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Tip: Add extra to your hybrids! Tartan can do more than create hybrids. Feeding it a seed and a flower may give the seed special properties (however, this will not work for tree seeds.) Happy Lamp: These are the small red tulip-like flowers that grow near Gustafa's hut during the month of Summer. Feeding Tartan a seed and a Happy Lamp flower will allow the seed grow in any season. Gemsoil: These are the golden flowers that grow near the ruins in the month of Fall. Feeding Tartan a seed and a Gemsoil flower will allow the seed to be planted anywhere. This is very useful for second and third generation crops, as they can normally only be planted in semi-fertile or very fertile soil. Upseed: These flowers are rare, but very, very useful! They are the orange and yellow flowers that grow in various places during the month of Winter (you can find one on the path to the ruins and another near Cody's house.) Feeding a seed of B or A quality and an Upseed flower to Tartan will result in an S-rank seed. This isn't the only way to make seeds a higher quality, though: mixing an S-rank seed with an A or B rank will probably do the trick, too! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ VI. (FAQS)================================================================== ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This part of the FAQ may contain SPOILERS. Read on at your own risk! The reason I gave it so much room till the part of the FAQ's is so it will catch the readers eye and doesn’t accidentally read on. So this should make it really noticeable to the people that don’t like SPOILERS :) So read on if you really want to. Just to let you know this is were I tell you how to get the seed maker, and other items. Also to let you know the end of the spoilers will look like what it looks like below. It will be a large amount of space so you know that the end of the spoilers is now gone and so you don’t have to looks for the end and accidentally read something you didn’t want to. (I know, it happens to me too). So don’t blame me if you didn’t read this part of the FAQ! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Q: Do trees need to be fertilized to grow? A: No, you can plant trees in any soil, even the least fertile, and they will grow. You can use the "cheat" to make a tree grow to S rank. (Look in Tips and Tricks section. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q: How do I get the seed maker for free? A: To get the seed maker you have to be good friends with Daryl and it has to be during year 1 or any other year. Enter his house whenever he is in there. Night works the best. When you enter his house at the right time, you should get a mini-cut scene. He will say something about some people stealing his invention and should give you the original seed maker. After that he puts it in your little room where your equipment is and is connected to the barn. It will be placed right inside the door and to the right. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The spoilers are now at an end. Have fun for the rest of the FAQ! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ VII. (Special Thanks)======================================================= ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I thank the users of the boards of gamefaqs.com. Some of the info in this FAQ is taken from the boards of the HM: AWL. The boards wouldn’t be possible If they didn’t have users! Users would be possible if it wasn’t for the site! And most important, the site wouldn’t be possible if it wasn’t for programmers. And the programmers wouldn’t be possible if there was no man like CJayC. I would also like to thank my brother for the graph he laid out for me, and I made it into a HTML graph. Thanks to all that helped contribute to this FAQ. This FAQ wouldn’t be possible if it weren’t for the contributors. Man, it feels like I just won a Grammy thanking all these people like this. (Yeah............... Right..............) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ VIII.
