Progress through the game, score so many points, purchase out the store, etc. Eh, I thought I might as well list down the Achievements, their points, and how to get them. ******************************* **Get Your Wings(10G)** -Complete the Tutorial. All you have to do for this is go straight to the Tutorial menu from the Start Menu. Start from the top Tutorial and work your way to the bottom. The Tutaorials are overly easy, but they are somewhat long, and a pain to those Hard and Expert players. ******************************* **Make It(20G)** -Complete the Career on Easy. Once again, really easy. Just finish all of the Career songs on the Easy difficulty in Career mode, and you are awarded 20 Gamerpoints. ******************************* **Movin' Out(30G)** -Complete the Career on Medium. Slightly harder than Make It. The Medium difficulty adds another note, but it's still pretty easy in the end. ******************************* **Rock In A Hard Place(50G)** -Complete the Career on Hard. Much harder than Movin' Out. Complete the Career mode on the Hard difficulty. You are awarded 50 Gamerpoints, so it's worth the effort. ******************************* **Dream On(75G)** -Complete the Career on Expert. One of the most difficult Achievements on any Guitar Hero game, you must complete the Career Mode on the Expert Difficulty. Once completed, Microsoft awards you with 75 Gamerpoints, so you should feel as if you have accomplished something once achieved. ******************************* **Aerosmith(15G)** -Unlock Aerosmith as the playable band. Quite an easy achievement. Just play the two opening songs in the first venue (Nipmuc High School) and you have unlocked Aerosmith as the playable band, and this Achievement to go along with it. ******************************* **Jailbait(5G)** -Play a song at the Nipmuc venue. Just complete a song on Career Mode at the first venue. ******************************* **Cheesecake(10G)** -Earn a 100 Note streak in Career or Quick Play. Get a streak of 100 in a song, any difficulty, in either the Quick Play Mode, or the Career Mode. ******************************* **Crazy(20G)** -Earn a 500 Note streak in Career or Quick Play. Get a streak of 500 in a song, any difficulty, in either the Quick Play Mode, or the Career Mode. ******************************* **No More, No More(10G)** -Perform all the Encores. Complete all of the Encores in the Career Mode, any difficulty. It doesn't matter if you decline an Encore at first, as long as you complete it in the future. ******************************* **Kings And Queens(20G)** -Purchase all playable characters from The Vault. Two characters in The Vault cost $10 000, while two others cost $15 000 so save your pennies from your touring, and purchase them when you have the money. ******************************* **Big Ten Inch Record(20G)** -Purchase all the bonus songs. Once you have the money, go to The Vault and purchase the Bonus Songs. Most of them are Aerosmith, but the other are from different artists. Each song costs about $500, which isn't all that much. ******************************* **Toys In The Attic(20G)** -Purchase all guitars from The Vault (Bass/Lead/Rhythm). Each guitar is roughly $15 000, and some you have to unlock from Career mode doing things such as beating every song on Expert with 5 stars. A difficult achievement to accomplish, but it's worth it in the end. ******************************** **Same Old Song And Dance(50G)** -Complete every song in the setlist and the Vault (Local only). All you have to do is complete the Career mode playing every song, buy all of the songs from The Vault (which unlocks the Big Ten Inch Record Achievement), and play them all at least once, any difficulty. ******************************* **Score Hero(30G)** -Score "325,000" or more on the song "Train Kept a Rollin". Now, I haven't played this song on Guitar Hero: Aerosmith yet, but assuming the difficulty of it is the same as Rock Band, then it would be extremely difficult to achieve (If you're skill is equal to mine). All I can say is, if you're having trouble, try practice mode. Once you get to know the notes better, give it another try, and you'll eventually pass the song, and possibly unlock the achievement. ******************************* **Get It Up(30G)** -Score 2,000,000 in the Career. Just keep playing Career Mode until you beat enough songs to have 2 million+ points in your Career total. I had it unlocked before I made it to the Half-Time Venue, which doesn't take too long to get to. ******************************* **Eat The Rich(30G)** -Earn $50 000 in Career earnings. All I can say is save up your pennies from each gig you play, and you'll get this achievement. If you've beaten the Career on one difficulty, play a new difficulty. You'll get your money from sponsers fast. ******************************* **I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing(30G)** -Earn a gold star rating on a song on Medium or harder difficulty (Local only). Finish a song without missing a note in either the Career or Quick Play Mode to unlock this Achievement. ******************************* **Gems(25G)** -Hit every star power phrase on a song (Local or Xbox LIVE). Play any song, any difficuly, any setting, and hit every Star Power phrase perfectly to unlock this Achievement. To my surprise, I got this Achievement on a song on Expert at the Half-Time Venue. All I can say is if you're new to Guitar Hero, work on this achievement on an easier difficulty. ******************************* **Sick As A Dog(25G)** -Earn a 5 star rating for a song on Medium or harder (Local or Xbox LIVE). Play any song on Medium or Harder and hit most of the notes to unlock this Achievement. Easy enough, right? ******************************* **Ain't That A B***h(20G) -Earn a gold star rating on a song (Local only). Similar to the "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing" Achievement, you can do this one on Easy. However, I suggest doing this on Medium or Harder, for you can get both Achievements at once if you don't already have both. ******************************* **Big Ones(15G)** -Earn a 300 note streak in Co-)p (Local or Xbox LIVE). This Achievement being a Co-Op Achievement, you need to make sure you have a good partner to play with you, for each note either one of you hits is counted toward your Note Counter, which is counted for both players. ******************************* **Cryin'(25G)** -Earn a 600 note streak in Co-Op (Local or Xbox LIVE). Very similar to the "Big Ones" Achievement, work with a good Co-Op partner, and hit 600 notes as a team. ******************************* **Combination(5G)** -Earn an 8x multiplier in Co-Op (Local or Xbox LIVE). Get a 4x multiplier in Co-Op, and then tilt your guitar upwards to activate Star Power, and voila! ******************************* **Let The Music Do The Talkin'(40G)** -Earn a gold star rating on a Co-Op song (Local or Xbox LIVE). Make sure you have a very good partner, because you both need to hit every single note in order to unlock this Achievement. It doesn't matter what song, it doesn't matter what difficulty, but this takes concentration, and patience. ******************************* **When I Needed You(15G)** -Activate Star Power 3 times in a song in a Co-Op match (Local or Xbox LIVE). Simply tilt your guitar upwards three times when your Star Power is ready in a Co-Op song, any difficulty. ******************************* **What It Takes(35G)** -Play 20 online ranked matches of any game type. You need Xbox Live for this Achievement. Simply select Xbox Live and play any game type, 20 times. ******************************* **Deuces Are Wild(40G)** -Complete all songs on the setlist as the lead guitarist (Co-Op Career) (Local or Xbox LIVE - primary user). This Achievement is much easier when you're playing with somebody at your own house, for they don't have to leave every seven games. Make sure you are plugged in as Player One, and make sure you are playing as the Lead Guitarist and play through the Co-Op Career at any difficulty. ******************************* **My Fist, Your Face(20G)** -Win an online ranked Pro Face-Off match. You need Xbox Live for this Achievement. Simply win a Ranked Pro Face-Off match at any difficulty, any song, once. ******************************* **Don't Get Mad, Get Even(20G)** -Win an online ranked Face-Off match. You need Xbox Live for this Achievement. Simply win a Ranked Face-Off match at any difficulty, any song, once. ******************************* **Walkin' The Dog(20G)** -Win an online ranked Pro-Face Off match by 10 000 or more points. You need Xbox Live for this Achievement. Win a Ranked Pro Face-Off match scoring 10 000 more points than the person you are playing against. You could ask him/her to let you win, or you could rock out hard. Either way, you're pretty well guaranteed this Achievement if you deploy Star Power a few times throughout the song. It's easier to Achieve at a higher difficulty as well, for there are more notes, thus more points to be awarded. ******************************* **Soul Saver(20G)** -Win a ranked online Battle Mode match with a Death Drain attack. You need Xbox Live for this Achievement. For you to be able to use a Death Drain attack, you need to make sure that you are in a Sudden Death match, which is only accomplished by sticking with it to the end of a regular Battle Match, without winning or losing. Death Drain attacks lower slowly over the opponents screen once activated, and go faster after notes are missed, thus blocking your view, and losing the match. ******************************* **Love Me Two Times(40G)** -Complete all songs on the setlist as the Bass/Rhythm guitarist (Co-Op Career) ( Local or Xbox LIVE - primary user). This Achievement is much easier when you're playing with somebody at your own house, for they don't have to leave every seven games. Make sure you are plugged in as Player One, and make sure you are playing as the Rhythm or Bass Guitarist and play through the Co-Op Career at any difficulty. **************************************************** Secret Achievements **************************************************** The following are Secret Achievements, which you don't know about until after you've unlocked them, or looked them up on the Internet. ******************************* **Subway(10G)** -Played a song at the Max's Kansas City venue. Simply play a song at the second venue at any difficulty. ******************************* **On The Road Again(10G)** -You unlocked the Orpheum Theater of Boston venue. Simply complete all of the songs at the Max's Kansas City venue, including the Encore, to unlock this Achievement. ******************************* **Nine Lives(10G)** -You unlocked the Moscow venue. Simply complete all of the songs at the Orpheum Theater of Boston venue, including the Encore, to unlock this Achievement. ******************************* **Critical Mass(15G)** -You unlocked the Half-Time Show venue. Simply complete all of the songs at the Moscow venue, including the Encore, to unlock this Achievement. ******************************* **March 19th, 2001(20G)** -You unlocked the Hall of Fame venue. Simply complete all of the songs at the Half-Time Show venue, including the Encore, to unlock this Achievement. ******************************* **Woman Of The World(10G)** -You played a song with a female guitarist. Select one of the three female guitarists and play any song at any difficulty to unlock this Achievement. ******************************* **Draw The Line(5G)** -You turned down an Encore. Simply turn down an Encore when you are asked to. (Career only) ******************************* **Spaced(10G)** -You completed a song earning Star Power, but never used it. Charge up your Star Power by hitting the Star Power Phrases perfectly in any song, but don't deploy your Star Power at all during any song at any difficulty. Career or Quickplay. ******************************* **Dude Looks Like A Lady(10G)** -Played a song as Izzy Sparks. Use the guitarist that looks queer in any song at any difficulty. Career or Quickplay. ******************************* **Walk This Way(10G)** -You purchased DMC from The Vault. Purchase DMC from the Vault ($10 000). ******************************* **Night In The Ruts(10G)** -Bummer, you failed a song 10 times. Fail any song in the Career Mode ten times at any difficulty. This can be done very easily by double-strumming really fast as the song opens. ******************************* **Fallen Angels(15G)** -Keep trying, you failed a Co-op song beyond 95% completion. Go into Co-Op with a partner, and fail a song near the ending. ******************************* **Nobody's Fault(5G)** -You failed 5 Co-Op songs. Don't give up! Fail five different songs in Co-Op mode at any difficulty. ******************************* **You See Me Crying(5G)** -You lost an online ranked Pro Face-Off match. You need Xbox live for this Achievement. Simply lose a ranked Face-Off match. ******************************* **Back in the Saddle(10G)** -You rocked out as Tom Hamilton and Brad Whitford in a Co-op match. Play a Co-Op match as either Tom Hamilton or Brad Whitford, and make sure whoever you are playing with is playing as one opposite of you. (ex. If you were playing as Tom Hamilton, you would want whoever you are playing with to be Brad Whitford, or vice-verca.) (Local or Xbox Live) ************************************************************************************************************** Thanks* ******* With the closing of a guide comes a special thanks.
