Duke Nukem Forever Written by Dalton "horror_spooky" Cooper Copyright 2011 Contact Information E-mail: horror_spooky@hotmail.com Duke Nukem Forever is one of the most notorious video games of all time. The game was announced WAY back in 1997, back before there was even such a thing as an Xbox or a PlayStation 2. The game then entered development hell. It was constantly delayed and changed to meet the standards of emerging technology. Duke Nukem Forever was then finally cancelled for good...until Gearbox Software (the folks behind the critically-acclaimed Borderlands) revived the project. With the ideals of the original Duke Nukem Forever developers in mind, Gearbox has finally finished the game, and it has released to the masses. Finally...the Duke HAS COME BACK! Even though I wrote this guide while playing the Xbox 360 version of this game, there are no differences between this version and the PS3 and PC versions. This guide is compatible with both the PlayStation 3 and PC versions of this game. The following guide is written over an M-rated video game that features extremely inappropriate language and crude, disgusting situations. As a result, this guide has the potential to be kind of gross and it is possible that you may get offended. However, if you were worried about getting offended, you wouldn't be reading a guide over Duke Nukem Forever anyways, but you've been warned. THIS GUIDE CONTAINS COARSE LANGUAGE. THIS LANGUAGE IS UNAVOIDABLE, BECAUSE THE LANGUAGE IS USED TO NAME THE LEVELS IN THE GAME. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK !WARNING! ------------------- TABLE OF CONTENTS ------------------- 1. Introduction and Controls - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The legendary hero Duke Nukem has turned to a life of luxury following his victories way back in the mid-90s. He now just lounges around, having sex with beautiful women and playing video games. Unfortunately for Duke, peace never lasts long. The aliens he once defeated have returned to get revenge on Duke, and they're starting with THE BABES! -DUKE CONTROLS- Left analog stick - Movement/Sprint Right analog stick - Camera/Crouch LT - Zoom LB - Trip Mines RT - Shoot/Detonate RB - Pipe Bombs D-pad (up) - Duke Vision D-pad (left) - Steroids D-pad (down) - Beer D-pad (right) - Holoduke X - Interact A - Jump B - Melee Y - Switch weapons -MONSTER TRUCK/RC CAR CONTROLS- Left analog stick - Movement Right analog stick - Camera RT - Accelerate LT - Brake/Reverse B - Handbrake A - Boost X - Flip/Enter and Exit car -FORK/SCISSOR LIFT CONTROLS- Left analog stick - Movement Right analog stick - Camera RT - Accelerate LT - Brake/Reverse B - Handbrake A - Lower Y - Raise X - Enter and Exit vehicle Now that you know how to control the king, you need to keep some other things in mind while being the king. Things to Remember - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - There are three different difficulties in the game to begin with. These are Piece of Cake (easy), Let's Rock (normal), and Come Get Some (hard). Normal mode is the setting I recommend. It's the setting that was used to write this guide. If you get to a part that you think is too hard or you're finding the game to be very easy, you can change the difficulty to a lower level. Duke's health bar is represented by his Ego. Duke's Ego can be increased by interacting with objects in the environment. There are a ton of interactions available throughout the game. I will point out the ones I discover throughout this guide, but I encourage you as the player to experiment as much as possible. It's fun and interesting to discover all the different mundane (but entertaining) things Duke can do in this adventure, so don't be afraid to stray off the beaten path set out for you in this guide! Pipe bombs in the game can be used VERY effectively. Unlike most games that just use standard grenades, the pipe bombs in Duke Nukem Forever can be tossed and detonated at any time. This means pipe bombs can be the most effective weapons in the game if used strategically, correctly, and sparingly. Be sure to wait for a situation where a pipe bomb will be especially effective (like when there are enemies grouped together, or an enemy on a ledge that's hard to shoot, for example). I will point out good times to use pipe bombs in the guide. Scattered throughout each level are little boxes that have the EDF letters on them. These boxes can be destroyed with a melee attack or gunfire and inside is often ammo. Be sure to hunt these down whenever Duke is running a little dry on ammunition. And now on with the show! Er, wait a second...I think it'd be a good idea to go over Duke's arsenal. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 3. Weapons and Items - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Throughout the course of the game, Duke has access to a wide variety of weapons. The following is a list of the weapons in the game and their functions, in the order they appear in the game: DEVASTATOR - Double-barreled weapon that shoots rockets AT LASER - Alien-made machinegun that fires blue laser rounds M1911 - Standard pistol with a laser-sight SHOTGUN - Human-made shotgun, good for close encounters (pun intended) RIPPER - Handheld machinegun with three barrels AT CAPTAIN LASER - Essentially a handheld laser-turret PIPE BOMB - Grenades that can be detonated at any time RPG - Rocket launcher. By aiming the rocket at an enemy, the cursor will turn red, and that means the rocket is locked onto the enemy RAILGUN - Laser sniper rifle TRIP MINE - Blows up when an enemy touches the red laser it emits SHRINK RAY - Shrinks enemies to miniature size ENFORCER - Super-powered alien-made grenade launcher FREEZE RAY - Freezes enemies. Unlike other weapons in the game, which need to have their ammo replenished by finding it in the levels or using ammo boxes, this weapon recharges by itself when not using. Duke can also pick up items he finds and throw them at enemies. Barrels and other explosive objects can be shot to cause explosions which can also deal damage to enemies. Turrets are also in the game, and they can be used to mow down enemies with relative ease. But that's not all Duke has at his disposal... It's just not a first-person shooter nowadays without special abilities to use! Duke's abilities are accessed using items and they are activated by using the d-pad. DUKE VISION (d-pad up) - This ability is used to see in the dark, in a manner very similar to night vision. Duke accesses this with his sunglasses. STEROIDS (d-pad left) - There are bottles of steroids that can be found in the gaming world. By consuming steroids, Duke becomes extremely powerful. His melee attacks will obliterate enemies with a single punch. BEER (d-pad down) - Beer is kind of like steroids (there's a sentence I never thought I would type). By drinking beer and getting Duke drunk, his defense goes through the roof. HOLODUKE (d-pad right) - Holoduke accomplishes two things. For one, it creates a hologram of Duke Nukem that can be used to distract enemies. For two, it will also turn the actual Duke invisible. And now that you're sufficiently educated about Duke's abilities, his weapons, and how to play the game, it's time to get on with the meat and potatoes of this FAQ/Walkthrough! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 4. Walkthrough - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - A. Duke Lives - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Duke has to take a leak, so press that X button and let the urine flow! You can interact with the sinks, the hand-dryers, and the showers if you so wish. When you are done messing around, exit this shower area into a room with a couple of dead bodies, and some soldiers going over a battle plan on a whiteboard. Walk over to the whiteboard and interact with it. Draw something on it to nab yourself an achievement. Then kick open the double doors to head into a hallway. Follow the soldiers. A giant explosion will send Duke flying backwards. Turn around and go down the stairs that a soldier is standing at the top of. When you reach the bottom of the stairs, there will be a soldier firing at aliens in the distance. Ignore him and go down the hallway. There will be a short firefight between aliens and soldiers. Keep walking forward and then pick up the Devastator that's lying on the elevator. Doing so will make the elevator go up. * * * * * * * * * BOSS FIGHT!!! Cycloid * * * * * * * * * Use the Devastator to blast right at the giant boss in the middle of the football field. Blast the hell out of him until your ammo of 69 (baha) is depleted. Then run around and avoid taking the missiles that the Cycloid is firing at Duke constantly. If the Cycloid jumps in the air, tap A to avoid taking damage from the shockwave. Eventually, a helicopter will swoop down and drop a red flare with ammo. Pick it up. Then fire crazy at the boss again. After enough damage has been depleted, the Cycloid will develop new attacks. He will use a booster to zoom across the field in an attempt to flatten Duke like a pancake. He will also shoot electrical balls on the ground across the field. These attacks are very easy to avoid. When you run out of ammo, just wait for the next ammo drop and resupply. Then shoot the living hell out of the boss. Repeat this process until he collapses. Walk over to the corpse of the Cycloid and press X to climb onto his back. Tap A repeatedly to rip out the tubes on his back. Then approach the eyeball to kick a field goal. * * * * * * * * * BOSS FIGHT!!! Cycloid * * * * * * * * * Ahh, but it was just a game! After the girls are done...waxing Duke's pistol and he puts the controller down, do a little bit of exploring around Duke's apartment. You can play pool if you wish, using the white ball to knock all of the other balls into holes. When you're done screwing around (pun intended), head through the double doors. Then walk over to the elevator. Push the button to open the doors, walk through, and then approach the buttons inside. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - B. Damn! It's Late... - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Enjoy the posters inside the elevator until the doors open. Step outside of the elevator and then walk down the stairs, past the door with all of Duke's adoring fans screaming outside. Keep making your way through the hallway. The TVs will talk about how aliens have descended from the mothership, but have yet to take any hostile actions. You'll have to wait for this news bulletin to complete before entering the employee lounge. Once the news bulletin finishes and the people move out of your way, go through the door on the left. This is the snack room, and inside is a perfect opportunity to increase your Ego, which is Duke's health bar. There is a microwave above the counter. Grab the popcorn bags next to it, and then open the microwave. Shove the popcorn into the microwave and start it. Walk around this place, messing with other stuff for fun, until the bag is microwaved. Eat the popcorn to increase Duke's Ego. With the employee lounge sufficiently explored, it's time to get on the talk show! Keep going through the hallway, and you'll come across a woman wanting Duke to sign her nasty parts after the show. Go through the double doors next to her to enter a closed set. A little boy and his father will approach Duke with Duke's autobiography. Sign it for an Ego boost. When the kid and man walk away, walk through the set until you find big purple curtains. The curtains will opena, and, to the dismay of everyone I'm sure, the show has been cancelled! Dang alien invasions always ruining late night TV. Well, with the promise of a rescheduling, walk through the curtained area to the right of the locked exit door. In this backstage area, you will find a guy being a total jerk to some other dude. Knock the jerk OUT! This will nab you an achievement. Head up the stairs and go through the door to enter the make-up room. Walk through the make-up room and then exit on the other side to return to the hallway that you were in before. Make your way back to the elevators, and use the elevator in the middle and ride it to the top. But oh no! The elevator shuts down. Walk over the glowing emergency box and use it to summon a ladder. Climb the ladder and then head up the nearby stairs. You will exit into a room with a bunch of Duke Nukem memorabilia. There is a kid sitting on the throne in this room. Walk over to him and he'll demand his picture be taken on the throne before he moves. Walk over to the glowing picture machine and use it to satisfy the kid. Then have Duke take his rightful place on the throne. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - C. The Duke Cave - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Listen to the president give Duke orders about not killing the aliens. Apparently, America is trying to create a peace treaty between Earth and the aliens. Aww, shucks. No alien genocide?! Bummer! When the conversation is over, Duke says what's on everyone's mind..."I've got a bad feeling about this..." Behind the throne, there is an electronic door that can now be opened. Go through to see a giant gun of Duke's being destroyed by aliens! Try to open the door in here. An alien will burst through and swat at Duke's face. Click on the right analog stick to make Duke crouch and then punch the alien right in the balls. The door will then say: ACCESS DENIED. RANDOM KEY CARD REQUIRED. Duke will respond hilariously with, "Key card? I don't need no ****ing key card." And he doesn't. Interact with the door and then tap A repeatedly to rip the door open. Duke will then grab a trophy off the ground. Chuck it at the alien in this hallway. An explosion will block Duke's path down the hallway, so go into the only other room possible to find a couple of aliens chilling out in Duke's personal gym. Run over and punch them to death before they even know you are there. With them dead, it's time to give Duke an Ego boost! There are a lot of ways to accomplish this in this gym room. Grab a basketball and throw it through the basketball hoop. Play the pinball machine. Punch the punching bags in the room. And be sure to lift the dumbbells as well. There's a bench set up as well, so add weights to either side to make it even. One of the weights isn't near the bar, but it is over by lockers. When you walk over to it, an alien will try to rip through the wall, only to fail. Grab the weight, return to the bench, and then start bench pressing for a big Ego boost. Have Duke admire himself in the large mirror on the wall for yet another Ego boost. With that done, walk over to the part of the wall that was damaged by the alien. Rip it open, crouch, and then crawl through. Head forward through these vents. When Duke emerges, there will be beer on the ground. Drinking beer will disorient Duke, but his defense will become stronger and his attacks deal more damage. Press down on the d-pad to drink the beer. Then continue through this hallway until two aliens charge. Drunk Duke should have no problem taking these guys out with melee attacks. When they're both dead, head through the next set of doors, but make sure you're still drunk. A couple of enemies will drop down. Beat them to death. The lights will then go out. Press up on the d-pad to use Duke vision. This is night-vision, essentially. Make your way down the pipes, and then drop down to take out the two blind aliens down here with ease. Open the door, hang a right, and then kill another enemy walking around in the dark alone. Open the next door, and there will be two enemies in here as well. They will feel each other out. Kill the two of them with melee attacks. A vent grate is glowing. Crouch and then punch it to destroy it. Walk through and drop down. There's a couple of barrels blocking the path to get out of here. Grab them and then walk through the next area. There are a couple of enemies in here. Chuck the barrel at them to take them out. There are more barrels holding up a pipe in this area. Knock them down to make the pipe fall, which will then allow Duke to use the pipe as a ramp. Walk up the pipe, punch the grate, crawl through, and then drop down to the next area. In this room, it's still dark, and there are a couple of enemies walking around. Defeat them, and then pick up the power cells that are scattered around this room. When you pick up these cells, walk over to the devices in the middle of the room that are glowing. Place the power cells in these devices. Do this a couple of times, and then the lights will come back on. Turn Duke vision off, grab a gun from one of the dead aliens, and then go through the now-activated door. In this room, there are more aliens to deal with. Shoot them to death and then walk through the next door into a small hallway. There is a remote control at the end of this hallway. Interact with it to take control of an RC truck. Drive the truck up the ramp and then drive it along the counter. Drive it up the next ramp and then down. Drive it along the counter in front of Duke, until you come across another power cell. Knock it off the counter, and then drive it through the small opening. Duke will then set the controller down. Walk over and pick up the power cell. Head back into the next room with the power cell. Place it in the new device that has opened up. Then pick up the steroids. Press left on the d-pad to have Duke guzzle down the steroids. This will turn him into John Cena. Punch all of the aliens to death. And there are a LOT of them at this section. With all of the aliens in pieces from your vicious punches, head through the newly opened door from whence they came. Walk forward, and the AI in Duke's Cave will lower a pistol down. Grab the pistol and equip it. This thing is much more powerful than the stupid alien laser machinegun that you've been using. In the next hallway, there are a bunch of aliens to try out the new weaponry. Kill them all dead. There are explosive barrels in here to shoot for explosive fun. With these aliens dead, head down the hallway and find the aliens destroying Duke's big gun. Kill these jerks and then hop in the driver's position for this giant gun. Hail to the king, baby. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - D. Mothership Battle - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - * * * * * * * * * BOSS FIGHT!!! Mothership * * * * * * * * * Turret boss fight! Hooray! There's a giant ass mothership that flies above in the sky. It has a giant gun attached to it. Aim the turret at this giant gun. Fire in bursts. Hold down the right trigger for a few seconds and then let go once the health meter for the Mothership drops a little bit. There will be dropships for alien enemies that fly down. HOLD the right trigger to blow them to pieces. When the health of the Mothership drops low enough, the dropships will start to fly overhead. They will shoot a blue laser down at Duke to deal damage. Just hold down on the right trigger to blow them up. Make sure to take care of them before turning your attention back to the Mothership's gun. It only takes two successful laser attacks to kill Duke. The Mothership will be defeated after its giant gun's health is depleted. * * * * * * * * * BOSS FIGHT!!! Mothership * * * * * * * * * After the battle, walk over the vent. Melee the vent open and crawl through. Just keep following the vents until you see a couple of babes getting attacked by some aliens. They will be teleported away. Bummer! Keep going and the level will end. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - E. The Lady Killer - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Smash open the grate and hop down onto the elevator. The woman on the ladder tells you that the elevator is going to fall. Walk over to the lever and pull on it. Pull on it until Duke lets go, and let the meter deplete completely. Then pull on the lever again. Keep repeating the process until the elevator stops. Walk out the elevator doors (unfortunately you can't take the girl up on her offer), and then Duke will shrink to the size of a flea! Ah! Walk over to the right. The little boy from earlier will spot Duke. Walk against the suitcase cart to push it forward. Then walk over the boy and the woman, who are standing next to an RC car. Hop in the car for your first vehicular segment! All you really need to do is keep driving forward. Press A to boost on the ramps to get large distance. Eventually, there will be a wide hole in the ground. Falling in the hole will just make you respawn. In the middle of this area, there is a bronze statue of a woman in the "doggy style" position. There is a ramp located right behind her ass. You need to boost straight up the ramp so that Duke lands on the ass of the statue. Then boost again immediately to gain the most air and sail over the hole in the ground. Then keep driving forward. Ramp over the bumps in the carpet and then just follow the path. Debris will block Duke from going in any other direction, so there's really only the set path to drive down. You'll eventually reach another large hole in the ground, so be sure to use boost to successfully get across the gap. * * * * * PART 2 * * * * * Drive past the aliens and the people being shot by them. You'll come across a door that doesn't have enough space for Duke to to drive under. Press X to hop out of the car and then crouch to walk under the door. Hop up the craps table and then use the overturned vending machines to make your way to a stool with padding. Jump on the stool, which will cause Duke to bounch up into the air. Jump onto the next table, then the couch, and bounce up into the flowerbed. A couple of rats will try to eat you, so shoot them with the pistol. Walk towards the area where the rats came to reach a switch on the wall next to the door that you crouched under to get into this room. Press the switch to open the door. Hop down and then get back in the car. Drive into the casino area with a bunch of slots. Use the ramp leaning against the slot machines. Boost to get over some rubble and into yet another hallway. Keep boosting and driving your way until Duke goes across a large gap and the car is destroyed. Walk forward to have a conversation with a soldier behind a gate. You need to press the switch on the wall by the couches to lift the gate. Push the baggage cart over to the switch. Then use the painting leaning against the couch to bounce on the cushions. Jump onto the suitcases and press the switch to raise the gate. Walk forward and walk past the girls. Step onto the blue device on the ground to have Duke go from being miniature-sized to being full-grown. Smash the display case and grab the shotgun. Aliens will invade this area and start blasting them in the face as soon as they appear. A few of them will use jetpacks, so you'll have to jump and fire to take them down. If they fly too high for your shotgun to be effective as well, just switch to the pistol. The aliens will steal your babes and escape! Walk over to the shuttered gate. Interact with it and then tap A repeatedly to open the thing. Use the small pieces of floor on the right of the hole with the fire to make it across safely. Keep the shotgun equipped because angry pig aliens will hop over the rubble and charge Duke. Blast them away with the shotgun. If they grab you, you'll have to tap A repeatedly to break their neck before they kill you. Follow the hallway and jump over the rubble to return to the slot machines. A bunch of aliens will break through the ceiling. There will be some with jetpacks, pig ones, and just regular old aliens that you've dealt with a bunch so far. There's also a new type of alien encountered at this part, equipped with armor. Keep killing them until they stop coming. There's a beer located next to the slot machines right under the hole in the ceiling in case you need to up Duke's defense for a short period of time. Walk over the glowing gate that is shut. Tap A repeatedly to open this gate as well. Walk through the next casino room and through the only open door. Follow the hallway. There will be a car, and in front of the car, steroids. Grab the steroids because it's time to fight! A bunch of enemies will start spawning and you'll have to keep killing them. They only come two or three at a time, so it really isn't that big of a deal. When they are all defeated, use the slot machines if you want to try to boost Duke's Ego, and then turn your attention to the glowing gate behind the car. Open the gate. Go through the hallway. Jump over the gap and head forward. * * * * * PART 3 * * * * * Walk into the next room and do battle with the aliens in here. With them defeated, walk over to the large statue of Duke situated in the middle of the room. There's a control box in front of it. Interact with it. Make Duke's left arm point at an angle towards the area above it that's not blocked off by a fence. Then press RT. This will make the toy buildings lower. Jump across so you can jump on Duke's right arm. You HAVE to get a running start in order to jump up to the upper area. Falling off can be annoying, but if that happens, just lower the buildings again and try again. When you get to the top, a pig will run out of the door. Shoot him to death and then head through the door he came through. A vent will be collapsed, which can be used as a ramp to reach the next vent area. Crawl through here. When you come out on the other side, you'll be faced with a laser grid! Shoot the devices on the wall to blow up the lasers. Crouch under the next lasers, and then use the boxes on the left to make your way over the next lasers. There are rats crawling around on the floor in this area. You can grab them and smash them or throw them if you wish for some fun. Crouch under the bench and then go over to the ammo crate. Replenish your ammo. Blow up this next laser grid, but be sure not to be too close to the lasers when it goes off or Duke will die instantly. With the lasers taken care of, a new obstacle will be put in Duke's way. Fire will block Duke's path through the next hallway. Luckily, there are always fire extinguishers attached to the walls that can be shot to put out the flames. Have Duke do just that. Keep making your way through the hallway, shooting fire extinguishers as necessary, until you reach the exit door. Open it and walk on through. There are a few soldiers in this area. There are also pigs. Kill the damn pigs and then chill out for a couple of seconds. The place will start rumbling... pigs will appear, as well as a new enemy. This new enemy is organic on top, but machine on the bottom. He will float around and thrust missiles in Duke's direction. Kill the pigs and then move in close to the floating enemy. Shoot at the bulbous area directly under it. Shoot it repeatedly and it will die pretty quick, especially if you're using the shotgun. Walk through the newly opened door to have a conversation with the general. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - F. Vegas in Ruin - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - After the conversation with the soldier, walk over to the van. Inside of this van there is Master Chief's armor sitting on a crate. Awesome! Grab the Ripper. This thing is ridiculously powerful and awesome. Afterwards, walk down the street, and be sure to mow down any enemies you come across. There will then be some sandbags in the distance with a turret connected to it. Sprint over to the turret and then start killing the enemies that the dropship brings. Keep killing them with the turret and try to blow up the dropship. When the enemies are dead, continue down the road. There will be a soldier that is going to accompany you. After the conversation, walk backwards a little bit and wait for the soldier to toss a couple of grenades at the downed ship that is blocking your path. The ship will blow up, and then head down that way. Climb up some stairs, and there will be more enemies to deal with. Kill them, and then head down the street more. Duke will now have access to pipe bombs. To use a pipe bomb, chuck it with RB and then detonate it at any time with pressing RT. Use the pipe bombs to take out the enemies whenever they are grouped together. Run down the street until you come across a bunch of sandbags with another turret. Hop onto the turret to use it. Pigs will start charging Duke's fortified position. Mow them down with the turret. If any of them happen to jump over Duke, quickly let go of the turret and then turn around and take them out. When the pigs stop coming, walk forward and grab the RPG off of the box next to the vehicle. Hop into the crater and then approach the other soldiers. Notice the ammo resupplying box in the van that is wrecked. The crater will then start getting attacked by various enemies that are dropped off in dropships. Kill all of the enemies, and constantly resupply your ammo. Eventually pigs with RPGs will start attacking, and these guys need to be taken out as quickly as possible. * * * * * * * * * BOSS FIGHT!!! Battlelord * * * * * * * * * This guy is a pain in the ass. The ending of this fight is pretty satisfying, though, and the strategy is simple enough. First of all, you need an RPG. If for some reason you don't have one, there is one located right next to the ammo crate. The RPG is the only thing that's going to deal damage to this mammoth beast. Duke can carry around a maximum of five rockets with the RPG at any given time. Just shoot them as fast as possible as the Battlelord until the RPG runs dry. The Battlelord has a variety of attacks. He has a big machinegun that fires bombs as well. Run around the pillar in the middle of the pit, and bait the Battlelord over to the opposite of the ammo crate. Refill your ammo and then fire another set of five rockets right into the face of the Battlelord. When the Battelord's health is depleted completely, he will fall to the ground. Run over to him and press X to climb on top. Duke will kick a horn into his eye and then press X at his crotch. Duke will then punch the Battlelord in the junk repeatedly, thus winning the battle! * * * * * * * * * BOSS FIGHT!!! Battlelord * * * * * * * * * After the battle is over, a door on the sewer will open up. After the conversation is over, walk through the tunnel. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - G. The Duke Dome - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Walk through the sewer tunnel. When you exit, there will be electricity blocking your path. Wait for the electricity to disappear, and then hop on the wooden boards to get across the muddy water. Keep walking forward until you find fire blocking the next tunnel. There is a dead body attached to a fire extinguisher hanging precariously above the fire. Shoot the body down to put out the flames. Walk through and climb up the ladder. There is a crane with a container above. Wait for it to drop and then use the car it falls next to so you can jump into the container. There are pipe bombs in here as well as an ammo box to replenish your supplies. This crane will move Duke around the area. Enemies will be at the nearby parking garage, so shoot them from the safety of the crane. The crane will eventually start next to a brick building. There will be a red barrel barely visible on the top window. Shoot it to blow it up. The crane will then keep moving. It will then stop again when a van drives forward. This is a perfect time to use pipe bombs. Remember, you can throw more than one pipe bomb at a time, remember, to maximize their effectiveness. The crane will move and then stop again. There will be more enemies to kill that are running around the parking garage. One will be a pig that will chuck an exploding barrel, so be sure to take him out first. Don't forget about the ammo resupply crate on the container in case you run out of ammo. When the crane moves again, there will be a large pig on the roof that is packing a rocket launcher. Kill him first. There will be a couple of enemies in the parking garage as well. Kill them, and then an enemy will jump on your ammo box. Take him out. Then a car will hit the container and it will collapse. Hop out of the container and pick up the railgun sitting on the box here. Shoot the lock off of the gated door. In the next area, there are a bunch of pigs to kill. If you stay back, the pigs pose absolutely zero threat since most of them are packing shotguns anyway. Kill all of the pigs and when they are all dead, walk over to the blue shipping container. There is a red barrel under it. Shoot the barrel, causing an explosion, which will in turn make the container into a ramp. Walk up the container and hop down into the next area. There is a small building in this construction site area. Walk around to the back of the building. Climb up the ladder. The ceiling is made out of glass, so smash through the glass. Walk over to the copier and then make a copy to boost Duke's Ego. Then walk into the next room of the building. There's a switch on the wall that needs to be turned on. Do so. A bunch of enemies will then be dropped off by the dropship. Stay in the building and try to take them out through the windows. If any enemies break into the building, don't worry; just kill them, too. After a sufficient amount of enemies have been killed, a big pig will burst through the far wall. Keep killing the aliens until they knock the building over. Run out of the building and shoot the vicious (but unarmed) pigs as they charge you, until they are no more. Walk over to the chainlink gate. There is a red button next to it. Press the button. The gate will open, but only partly. Tap A repeatedly to open the gate completely. Walk through this area. * * * * * PART 2 * * * * * Keep walking straight and you'll come across some shipping containers. There is a blue one with a ladder on it. Climb it, and then shoot the red barrels that are in the yellow one across the way. This will tip that container over, and free some blue barrels from it. There is a red shipping container with broken doors in this area as well. Keep grabbing blue barrels and then putting them in the red shipping container, right next to the doors. Keep doing this until the weight is so much that the container is in a diagonal position. Climb back up the blue container. Sprint to get a running start and then jump across to the red container. Run up the container, and then walk on the scaffolding. Hop down and then run towards the nearby wrecking ball crane. Above Duke, aliens fly through the air, holding onto the much-sought after babes of legend! There's a ladder attached to the crane. Climb up the ladder and then walk up the crane. Hop off the crane and through the wooden platforms attached to the building structure. There's a shipping container with a bunch of red barrels behind barely ajar doors. Shoot at the red barrels to blow them up, which will send the doors flying. Jump into the container and run through. Jump down into the red truck. Climb the ladder to climb up the next structure. Go up the ramp, and then jump over to the small room. Snatch the battery. Also be sure to grab the RPG that is up here, too. The structure will then be attacked by an alien spaceship. It will destroy the structure. When you hit the ground, start firing RPGs at the ship. Use the ammo resupply crate located next to the barbed wire fence to resupply Duke's ammunition, and then go back to shooting rockets at the ship. Keep doing this until the ship bursts into flames, flies away, and explodes. Restock on your ammo again, and then use the metal bar that is set up like a ramp next to the barbed wire fence. Run up the bar and then jump over the fence to get back to the wrecking ball area. Run over to the wrecking ball, and there will be a glowing box next to it. Place the battery in the open area on the box. Then take control of the wrecking ball. Ram the wrecking ball repeatedly in the nearby building. Smash it into the upper part of the building repeatedly, which will kill the enemies on the roof, and also the wrecking ball will fall off. Leave the crane pointed at the now-destroyed wall. Leave the controls and then run up the crane. Jump off to get into the building. Kick open the nearby door and head through. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - H. The Hive - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Walk off the rocks until you come across a couple of dead soldiers. Exchange the RPG for the Ripper and then grab the pipe bomb laying on the ground. Turn around and then return to the rocky ledges. Walk along the rocks and then keep walking along them until you come across a weird, alien barricade. Smash the barricade and keep walking. Smash the next couple of barricades and then walk over to the hole in the wall. Crouch and then crawl through the hole. You'll find a purple bug. Use melee to knock the bug out of the hole and into the next room. An alien thing will suck up the bug, which will power up the door and open it. Walk into the next area. Tickle the next door to open it, and then keep walking forward. Go up the ramp, but beware of the tentacles sticking out of the walls. Wait for them to retract before you proceed. The next door you need to go through will be bathed in a purple light. Tickle that door open, and then walk forward. There will be a short tunnel with a bunch of purple plant-like creatures. Toss a pipe bomb in the middle of them to blow them all up simultaneously and walk through the small tunnel. Open the next door. You'll see the babes trapped on the rock formation in the middle of the cave. There will be an alien that teleports down there, but ignore him if you want. Kill him if you must, and then open the door. Walk through, and a new enemy that is like a big floating head with tentacles will appear. This alien will shoot electricity at Duke that will take his health down by half, so be sure to kill this enemy quickly. In the next room, three more of these new enemies will be floating upwards. Ignore them. Head to the right, and then drop down. These weird plants will open up, and they can be used like trampolines. Just touch them, and they will launch you where you need to be. Follow these plants and basically just keep heading in one direction, opening doors where need be, until you find the twins from the beginning of the game. Aliens will burst from their stomachs, so quickly kill them. More aliens will burst out of the stomachs of the other women in this room. Kill them as well, and then head to the next room. This place were be too dark, so turn on Duke Vision to see in the dark. There is a pistol located in the middle of the room with the three enemies encased. Switch a weapon that has no ammo with it, and then head up through the area that you haven't been through yet. This place is dark and it will loop around. If you didn't notice, there is a locked organic, alien "tickle" door that needs to be opened. To do that, approach the purple bug that you will find if you follow the darkened hallway. Shoot at the bug to make it curl up, and then push it back towards the locked door. Three of flying tentacle aliens will try to kill you. Use a well-placed pipe bomb to take care of all three of them at the same time. Then roll the purple ball to the tentacle thing. The tentacle will latch onto the ball and the door will unlock. Open it and walk through. * * * * * PART 2 * * * * * There are dead soldiers tied up in webs in this area. They can be hit with the melee button to get ammo and other supplies from them. I recommend doing this, as they are usually packing Proximity Mines and Pipe Bombs. To the left, there are tentacles coming out of the walls that are dangerous, so head to the right with the exploding purple pants. Toss a bomb over there to make them all blow up. Head that way, and then tickle open the next door. The flying aliens out here will suck up the green alien fruit and then throw them at Duke for a lot of damage. There is only one at first. They will fly around and dodge bullets like crazy, which make them a pain to deal with. Just stand perfectly still when they're grabbing the green fruit with their electrical charges, and hold down the right trigger to blow them to hell. Start walking down, and then there will be two more aliens. Toss a pipe bomb right in the middle of them. Two aliens, one pipe bomb. Tickle open the next door. In this area, there are a bunch of purple exploding plants. Shoot them to blow them up. Then use the bouncy green plant to bounce up to the next area. Walk through here and then use the rock platforms to jump across the gap. Open the door and keep walking until there are a bunch of pipe bombs and a bounce pad on the wall in the distance. Chuck the pipe bomb at the bounce pad. The bomb will then bounce into the inaccessible purple area above you. Detonate the pipe bomb, which will then send the purple bug up there rolling down. Turn around, because a flying alien will be there to impede Duke's progress. Shoot the hell out of him to kill him. Then roll the ball out into the next place. Roll it to the left, which will drop it down into the area where you came from. Keep rolling the ball forward. Kill any flying aliens that you come across, and keep rolling the ball. Eventually, there will be a spot in front of a door where a bunch of flying aliens will swarm Duke. Spam pipe bombs at this area to take these guys out and not die. Then roll the pipe bomb through the next door, through the next hallway, and so on. You may have to switch on Duke Vision if it gets too dark. There will eventually be a tentacle that grabs the bug, which will unlock the door. Go through the door, and you can either run up the path to the right, past the tentacles, or turn on Duke Vision and go to the left. There are exploding purple plants to shoot before you head in this direction, though. Regardless, there will be a door at the top of this place. Tickle the door open, and then walk into the next room. There are women in here that will have aliens burst out of their stomachs if you don't put them out of their misery. Do so. Bugs will burst out of the ground, so take care of them quickly, too. On the wall, there are breasts that you can slap around to boost Duke's Ego. No, that is not a joke. Go through the next door, and you'll be in a room filled with more bugs, more women that will have their stomachs explode, and a locked door up a set of stairs. Kill the bugs. There is shotgun ammo around this place, so don't worry about running out of ammo. If the bugs latch onto Duke, tap A repeatedly to kill them. Shoot the women before they can have any bugs burst out of their stomachs. When these enemies have been defeated, a flying alien will appear. He will have to be killed as well to unlock the door. Go through the door and keep walking. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I. Queen Bitch - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Yup, that's really the name of the level. Walk through the tunnel to end up in a gym room. To the right, there's a dark room with explosives sitting on the table. Restock on explosives and then return to the gym room. There's a bounce pad in a purple tunnel (not the one you came from). Jump up and then toss a pipe bomb on the pad. Then detonate it to destroy the door in a truly massive explosion. Go back and restock your explosives again. Walk through the new open area and then walk up the flight of stairs. Head through the door... * * * * * * * * * BOSS FIGHT!!! Alien Queen * * * * * * * * * There are two ammo crates, but one has explosives on top. Make sure you have an RPG and a shotgun for your weapons. They are leaning against the sandbags next to the ammo crate. The Alien Queen will block her large breasts with two giant claws. You need to throw a pipe bomb over the claws, and then detonate it. This will cause her to move her claws. Fire all of your RPG ammo directly into the Alien Queen. She will then scream at Duke, which will knock him down and take away half of his health. So, sprint towards the ammo crate and restock on supplies. The Alien Queen will now protect herself, but she'll also move her claws to scream and to try to crush Duke with them. She'll also shoot eggs that will hatch into bugs. Shoot these out of the air with the shotgun, or take the bugs out when they land. Whenever she moves her claws, use this opportunity to fire a bunch of RPGs directly at her. Towards the right hand side of this area, you'll notice bounce pads in the distance. You can chuck the pipe bombs on them to get a better shot at damaging her with the pipe bomb explosion, which will then give Duke an opening to launch a ton of rockets at the Alien Queen uninterrupted. Eventually, she will abandon the idea of using her claws as a shield altogether. Flying aliens will then become a big pain in the ass, as there will also be bugs to attack you as well. Fire rockets like crazy at the Alien Queen, hanging out by the ammo resupply crate. Keep doing this until her health reaches zero. The Alien Queen will collapse. Ignore the enemies around you and run up to her head. Press X and then tap A repeatedly to rip her mouth open. Duke will then pull her tongue outwards. She will bite off her own tongue. Ouch. Boss defeated. * * * * * * * * * BOSS FIGHT!!! Alien Queen * * * * * * * * * - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - J. Duke Nukem's Titty City - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Duke's new objectives after defeating the giant alien boss? Find popcorn, a vibrator, and a condom so he can have sex with a stripper. Oh yeah, baby. He digs that role-playing stuff. Anyway, go through the curtain. Take a right through the hallway that is lit up blue. Enter the men's restroom. There is a beer can on the counter. Drink the beer and then use a stall and take a piss to raise Duke's maximum Ego. Leave this area, and then keep following the hallway. Go through the "employee's only" doors and head up the stairs. The condom is sitting on a table. The popcorn is on top of the microwave. Throw it in the microwave. While it's popping, go over the computer console and cycle through the cameras until you find one that has a whiteboard. I don't know if the code changes for every game, but in my game the code was 4768. If that's not your code, jot down the code exclusive to your game and exit. Grab the popcorn, and leave. Go to the main stripping area. There is a curtain that leads to the game room where you can play air hockey to earn Duke more Ego. Regardless, go to the bar in the main stripping area and then head behind the bar. There is a door that is locked via keypad at the end of the bar. Input the code to unlock the door and then walk on through. In this room, there is a pornographic DVD sitting on the desk. And there's also a DVD player...well, you guessed it. Open the DVD player, grab the porn, pop the porn into the DVD player, and close the tray. Watch it and Duke will get his Ego boosted even more. The vibrator is sitting on the chair, by the way, so be sure to grab it before leaving this room. Go back to the main stripping area and walk through the curtain that has the words "Champagne Room" above it. Take a left and go up the stairs. Meet up with the stripper from the beginning of the level here and give her all of the items. Follow her to the end of the room and head through the curtain. Sit down in the pink chair after the stripper tells you to. Enjoy the lapdance. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - K. Crash Course - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - After the little helicopter scene, snatch the pistol that is laying next to the dead body. Then turn away from the beautiful view and start walking down the large alien tentacle. Follow the tentacle, blowing up exploding purple plants along the way, until there are tentacles threatening to attack. Destroy them and then destroy the blue plants that are blocking the way even more. Keep going until you get an opportunity to drop onto concrete. Aliens equipped with jetpacks will then try to kill Duke. There is a shotgun laying next to the dead soldier. I recommend grabbing that, as the aliens are close enough that they should be taken out with one shot. Anything that isn't killed with a single blast can be picked off with the pistol. After they are all dead, a spaceship flies by and fires a missile, which will create a new concrete bridge for Duke, very conveniently. Follow the concrete bridge. There will be an eyeball attached to the wall that you can shoot which will make all the tentacles retract. Then keep walking forward. There will be a purple exploding plant below. Destroy it, and then hop down to that area. There is a big yellow ladder. Climb up it. At the top, there will be the helicopter from earlier. Take control of the turret in the helicopter. Shoot down the ships that are coming from the distance and kill the enemies that appear in jetpacks. When this is done, leave the helicopter and follow the concrete walkway. Use the bounce pad that you come across to reach the next area. Grab the Devastator. The ship in the distance will fire rapidly at Duke. Resupply your ammo as much as possible and continuously fire at the ship until it blows up. When it does, enemies with jetpacks will start attacking Duke. Blow them to hell with the Devastator as well. One enemy will then grab Duke by the throat. Tap A repeatedly and then keep pressing the right trigger to beat the holy hell out of the alien and to knock his head off. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - L. Duke Burger - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Right when the level starts, destroying the exploding purple plants. Walk down the hallway, and then open the double doors at the end. There is a green device on the ground. Step on it and Duke will turn into his miniature size. Walk into the next room. There is a red door, with a small opening next to it. Crouch and walk through. There is a device in here to turn Duke back to normal size. Do this, and then pull the switch to cut the power. Turn around and shoot the debris blocking the door. Open the door and then use Duke Vision to find your way around in the dark. Return to the green device and revert back to miniature form. Use the boxes to jump up on the bench, and then onto the sink. Jump from the sink through the hole in the wall that was once blocked by electricity. Walk to the tubing in against the wall and start climbing it like a ladder. When you reach the top, crouch and keep walking through the wall. * * * * * PART 2 * * * * * Duke will fall through the ceiling. Walk to the blue device on the ground to return Duke to his regular size. Kick through the double doors. In this dining area, there are miniature pigs firing crazily. Kill them and then crouch through the small opening above the booth. Duke will then get shrunk down to miniature size yet again. A bunch of pigs will charge Duke. Kill them all, and then jump up onto the register counter. Hop over the registers, and then walk to the far end of the counter, where there is a tray that works like a bridge to the fountain pop. Walk across, and then push through the cups of pop. Climb up the tubing. Grab the explosives from the dead bodies, and then jump off onto the tentacle. Follow the tentacle. Walk through the red fencing, and then hop down into the basketball game. Jump down. You'll be confronted by giant aliens! Trick them into walking into the shrinking pads. They will then become the same size as Duke. Kill them and then head into the storage area. Use the boxes to climb the shelf, and then kill the aliens on the shelf on the other side of the room. Jump across to the boxes next to the shelf on the other side of the room. Walk along the shelf to the boxes on the other side. Climb up the tubing to reach the top of the shelf. Walk to the vent grating on the wall and punch it out. Walk through to the other side. Jump from the boxes to the floor below. The rats will get killed by the mouse traps, so don't worry about it. Run up the mop and then use the skillets to bounce around the shelves. Enemies will show up across the way, so be sure to take them out from your position before they do too much damage to Duke. Climb up the shelves to jump across to where they were, and then jump onto the lighting fixture. Keep jumping, and then the counter will collapse, and Duke will fall to the area below. Unfortunately for Duke, this area is covered in mousetraps! Maneuver around the mousetraps. A pig will appear on the counter above, and he will be firing dual pistols at your position. Take him out, and then hop across. Make your way up to the burners. Wait for the burners to go out before you run across. Jump on the hamburgers to avoid taking damage from the grill. After traversing the grill, jump onto the side of the overturned cart. From there, jump onto the dead body laying in the electrified water. Use him to reach the shelf, which you will then use to jump on the can next to the box of waffles. Crouch and then walk across the waffle box. Jump onto the toaster, and then jump down in front of the toaster. Pull down the switch, and then climb on top of the toaster. The waffles will pop up, which will propel Duke to the shelf above. There is a line with pans hanging from it. Walk over to the hook that is also on the line, and use it to zipline down to the next area. Jump on the hamburgers to make it across the grill. Don't jump into the boiler, obviously. Jump onto the small sink that's attached of it. Then walk onto the counter, and there will be a fuse box. Use the fuse box to turn off the electricity. Jump down into the water. The chick will open the door for Little Duke. Jump up the boxes and then break the vent grate. Make your way through the vent. * * * * * PART 3 * * * * * Step onto the blue device to return Duke to his normal size yet again. Use the ladder to climb up onto the rooftop. Walk up the stairs, and then grab the awesome Shrink Ray. Multiple waves of enemies will then start coming in. Kill them in any manner you see fit. Eventually, there will be a new, super-armored alien added to the mix with a new and powerful gun called the Enforcer. This gun is excellent, so I recommend NOT shrinking these guys if you want it. By the way, if you shrink an enemy, you can have Duke comically squash them under his boot by pointing the camera down at them. It's rather awesome. Spam the Enforcer at the next waves of enemies since they will be equipped with them anyways and you will just be able to resupply your ammunition. Eventually, two fat enemies with robotic bottoms that haven't been seen since the very beginning of the game will attack. Get under them and blast their bottoms with shotgun blasts. A few of these should do them in. After these guys have been bested, a helicopter will land. Strap in. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - M. The Mighty Foot - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The level starts off with Duke controlling a turret that fires rockets in a helicopter. This is very laid-back. Just shoot all the enemies that you see and blow up the dropships that come into view. When they're all dead, a monster truck will drop. Get out of the helicopter and then hop into the monster truck, the titular Mighty Foot. Drive it forward through the wooden fence. * * * * * PART 2 * * * * * Just follow the path. Boost at ramps to go over gaps. It's really straight-forward driving here. Eventually, the monster truck will run out of gas. When this happens, hop out of the vehicle and take cover at the barricade. Enemies will appear across the gap, so be ready to take them out. After they have all been defeated, a ship will fly buy and blow up the container that is in Duke's way. Walk across, and then more enemies will confront Duke. They will be packing heavy armor as well as Enforcers, so be sure to take them out and nab those beautiful Enforcers. There is an area over-looking the cliff that has telescopes you can look through to spy on a naked chick walking along the dock. Do this to boost Duke's Ego. Kill all of the other enemies, and then walk over to the gated area, with a padlock attached. Break the padlock, open the gate, and then use the junk in this area to jump onto the roof. Smash through the glass window. There is a plate here that is dirty. Throw it away in the trashcan to increase Duke's Ego. Approach the computer and turn it on to see some hot pictures of REAL LIFE chicks. This will also boost Duke's Ego. There is a shelf in this room with a gas can on it. Grab the gas can and then walk over to the door that is boarded up. Use melee attacks to break the boards and then run back to the Mighty Foot. Fill it up with gasoline. Hop back behind the wheel of the Mighty Foot. Use the ramps to get across the gaps, and keep going until there's no road left. Drive off the road. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - N. Ghost Town - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - More driving. Just follow the path, ramp when necessary. It's really just a straight shot. When the monster truck runs out again, Duke will be in a beat-up old-Western town. Check the houses for ammuniation. There is an Enforcer hidden around here, as well as a couple of Rippers at the local saloon. Aliens will start attacking, and Duke Nukem will make an epic reference to the film Tombstone. The place will then be overrun with pigs. Kill them all. It will probably take a while. Pigs will then appear at the roof of the barn. Kill them as well. Then a bunch of pigs will burst through the doors, and a big enemy with a robotic bottom will also appear. Kill them all, and then walk into the barn. Climb the ladder. Use the crank to position the platform in the middle of the gap. Hop on the platform, and then hop over to the other side. There is a ladder that you can jump and climb up on. Climb up the ladder, and at the top, there is another crank. Use the crank to lower a ladder on the other side. Climb down the ladder and then make your way to the crank that controls the platform. Use the crank to return the platform back to its previous position. Head back up the ladder and then use that platform to get across the other gap. Grab the gas can on the shelf and then sprint back to the monster truck, and fill it up. Hop into the driver's seat and drive through the ghost town. Drive through the barn and boost through the doors to destroy them. Then boost on the ramp to make it across the gap. Drive through the cave. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - O. Highway Battle - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Another driving segment. This one is also very straight-forward. Boost at ramps, drive through fences, etc., and follow the path. There will be rocks that will fall and do massive damage to the monster truck, though, at one point so be sure to avoid those. Run over any aliens you see, and then keep driving until the damn thing runs out of gas yet again. * * * * * PART 2 * * * * * Walk forward, and then you'll be confronted by a bunch of enemies over a gap. They will have a turret on their side. There is a Railgun if you climb one of the small towers near here, which also provides great cover. Pick them off. They'll start coming over the gap, but continue to kill them. When they stop attacking, head left. There will be a group of enemies this way, but it's the only way to get over the gap. Kill all of the enemies, which should be fairly easy since they are just the pig aliens. When you make it across, man the turret, and face the cliff. A bunch of pigs will jump over and try to attack. Blow them to hell. A ship will then swoop down and start firing at Duke. Grab an RPG, which should be located near the ammo supply crate. Keep firing rockets at the ship. When Duke gets too damaged, there is a shipping container he can hide in to avoid the rockets. Resupply constantly and then keep firing at the ship until it explodes. The ship can then be used as a ramp to reach the higher area. Do this, and then head to the left. You'll see an entrance to the mines that is boarded up. Break the boards and walk into the mines. Follow the tracks until you come across a mine cart that is filled with barrels. Take out all the barrels one-by-one and push the cart up the track. Keep pushing until it stops at the red lights. Then jump into the cart and pull the lever by pushing on the right trigger. Duke will fly across the gap. There is a small shack over here with gas cans inside. Grab a gas can. A bunch of bugs will then swarm Duke from the hole in the cavern wall. Kill all of the bugs, and then scaffolding to the left will break. Climb up it to reach a minecart that is behind boards. Destroy the boards with melee attacks and push the cart. Push it all the way to the red lights, and then hop in. Pull the lever and then the cart will rumble forward. It will go across the gap and then go along the rails for you. Just hold on the right trigger and the cart will kill all the enemies in the way. When the cart runs off the tracks, which is conveniently right at the monster truck, a couple of aliens will be shooting at it. Kill them, fill up the truck with gas, and then hop behind the wheel yet again. Ramp over the gap. Then boost up the next ramp to break through some signs and then drove into the cave. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - P. Dam Top - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Drive the monster truck along the path. Ramp at the ramps. Sigh. You get the idea. Just keep boosting along and driving along until the truck ramps through a spaceship and then crashes into the water below. FINALLY! The truck has been killed! Hop out of the truck and then make your way to the ladder. Climb up the ladder. The president berate Duke about his actions. After he's done complaining, make your way to the soldiers that are hiding behind cars and other cover. Move up the street, killing all the enemies that you encounter. After they have all been killed, you'll get a visit from an old friend... * * * * * * * * * BOSS FIGHT!!! Battlelord * * * * * * * * * Ahh! There are two ammo resupplying crates located on the left side of the bridge (if Duke is facing where the Battlelord emerged), and there should be plenty Enforcers lying on the ground from the enemies that you have just defeated. The strategy is to resupply constantly, stay behind cover, and peak out to fire Enforcer rounds at the Battlelord. Jetpack-using enemies will fly above the Battlelord. It's probable that the rounds from the Enforcer will fly to them instead. Don't worry about it; there will be enough time before they respawn to deal significanty damage to the Battlelord. When his health is completely depleted, run over to him and climb on him. Tap A rapidly to make Duke rip out one of his horns and then shove it through his face. The Battlelord will then get a second wind. Don't sweat it, though, because his health goes down twice as fast. Use the exact same strategy as before. Shove another horn into thim, but this time Duke will shove the horn into the other side of the monster's face. And now you'll be able to "humiliate" this guy by punching the hell out of his junk to finally defeat him. * * * * * * * * * BOSS FIGHT!!! Battlelord * * * * * * * * * Walk over to the bungee cord. Then bungee down the dam, ala GoldenEye 007 on the Nintendo 64. Fantastic reference. Walk through the door. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Q. The Shrunk Machine - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Walk through the innards of the dam until you find a group of men talking. Grab the Freeze Ray next to them, and then turn around to the padlocked gate. Smash the gate with a melee attack. Smash the vent grate on the ground with another melee attack and hop in. Walk through the vents and kill all of the alien insects. Then return to the room with the dudes talking, and the door should be open. Head through. In this area, there will be a ton of pig aliens to fight. Kill them all. Some will burst through the wall, and kill these guys as well. If you go through the double doors in this area, you will find a small office with crumpled paper airplanes sitting on the next. You can throw them away to boost Duke's Ego. When all of the enemies are cleared out, the workers from before will return. Go to the single door with a touch-screen next to the door. The guy will open the door by touching the screen. Walk through and head down the stairs. * * * * * PART 2 * * * * * Walk down the stairs and open the door. There will be alien plants blocking Duke's path. Use the valve behind the fence and turn it to the left to make steam kill the plants. Head to the next area, where there will be a valve puzzle, but it's not really a puzzle. Just pull the switches and push around the red pipes until the ones in the middle connect in a straight line. It doesn't get much simpler than this. Then turn the valve in here to kill the next set of alien plants that are blocking the way. Walk through here and shoot the purple plants that explode. Walk through the tunnel and into the next room. There are a bunch of aliens in this room, obviously, and they need to be taken care of. Kill them all. A couple of aliens in jetpacks will also make an appearance. Kill them, too. Then head over to the board that's blocking the crank. Break the board and the ladder will fall down. Climb the ladder. There is another pig over here hiding behind a crate. He is packing an RPG, so try to take him out as fast as possible. Then walk into the next room and step onto green device on the ground to shrink Duke. There is a vent there is screwed shut, so unscrew it by interacting with the screws and moving them to the left. Walk through the vent. Mini-Duke will knocked around in the vent like crazy. When the madness stops, there will be a broom blocking the fan. Walk over and smash the broom. Then step onto the fan to be shot upwards. Unscrew the next vent and then walk through. Unscrew the door here and then step inside. Climb the tubing. Shoot the power cell to get rid of the electricity and platform across the gears. Be sure to avoid the holes and then climb up the next tube. Then platform across the vertical gears. Jump through the holes and make it across to the other end of the room. Jump up onto the pipes. Shoot the vent protecting the power cell. Then shoot the power cell. There is a vent to Duke's left with a fan behind it. Shoot that vent and then step inside. There is another power cell in here to shoot. Do so, and then make your way across the bridge. Time it so you aren't crushed. When you get across, shoot the next vent, and then shoot the next power cell. This will cause an overload that results in a bunch of explosions, and the giant fan stopping its rotations. Walk through the motionless blades, hop on the generator, and then break open the vent and jump through. Jump on the boxes and then walk along the shelf to platform to some tubing. Climb up the tubing and then walk along the pipe to get to a window. Smash the window into pieces and then hop through. Kill the aliens and then make your way to the elevator. Use the mop bucket to call the elevator. A bunch of aliens will then swarm Duke and the lights will turn off. Use Duke Vision and kill them. When the lights turn back on, turn Duke Vision off and then continue killing them. The elevator doors will then open... * * * * * * * * * BOSS FIGHT!!! Enforcer * * * * * * * * * If you have a Holoduke, this is a PERFECT time to use him, as the Enforcer will be distracted by it even if you are shooting a million rounds into him. If you do have Holoduke, employ him right in front of the elevator doors, stand back, and shoot the ever-loving hell out of the Enforcer. You can also throw pipe bombs and mines at his feet as well. When the Holoduke wears off, just run around and keep shooting at him. Avoid getting close because he will smash Duke under his foot, which will put Duke's health into the danger zone. If you don't have a Holoduke, I recommend drinking beer to boost Duke's defense. And if you don't have any items, just run arond like crazy and never stop firing at the Enforcer. Try to stay behind cover to avoid his oncoming fire, and never let him get close enough to stomp you. The one item you definitely want to avoid using in this boss fight is the steroids. The only way to make them effective is to get in close to the boss, and that's just a silly idea. When his health is gone, he is dead. No QTEs. * * * * * * * * * BOSS FIGHT!!! Enforcer * * * * * * * * * Walk into the elevator. One of the handrails will be broken and at an angle. Run up it to tip it like a teeter totter. Then sprint up the other side and jump across to the next handrail. Make your way to the button and then press it to send the elevator down. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - R. The Forkstop - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Run behind the fence to return Duke to his normal size. Yay! Kick open the double doors. Run past the forklift and head into the control room. Flip the switch in the control room, and then run back out to the area with the forklift. The button next to the garage door at the far end of the room is now active and ready for use. Use it to raise the garage door and then step outside. Use the ladder to climb up to the next area. There will be electricity blocking Duke's path on the catwalk that is pretty dangerous. Wait for the first one to flicker out and then sprint past it. The second electrical bolt will follow the wall and then disappear and restart. Follow this and then duck under the next bolt. The bolt immediately after that follows a similar pattern as the second bolt, so just follow it and make it to safety. Climb down the next ladder. A few flying aliens will emerge out of the water. They will try to throw barrels as well as boxes at you. If they throw boxes, you can rest easy since they are easily destroyed. Barrels, on the other hand, need to be avoided. Take these guys out, and then jump into the water. Swim towards the dam and climb up the red ladder. Charge forward and kill all of the pig aliens that you see. If you time it just right, a pipe bomb can wipe them all out in a manner of seconds. After they are taken care of, take control of the turret that is right up the stairs. A bunch of the flying aliens will then appear out of the water and chuck a variety of barrels and boxes at you. Zoom in on their ugly faces and don't let up on the right trigger to kill them before they have a chance to throw anything at Duke and put him in serious trouble. * * * * * * * * * BOSS FIGHT!!! Octaking * * * * * * * * * This boss fight is probably the easiest one in the game. Just train the turret directly at the giant version of the flying enemies from before. Whenever it picks something up to throw at you, riddle the object it's holding with bullets to render it useless. Then just keep shooting it constantly until it loses all of its health and flees. * * * * * * * * * BOSS FIGHT!!! Octaking * * * * * * * * * With the Octaking dead, a soldier tries to crawl under the nearby garage door. He fails and dies. Walk over to the garage door and tap A repeatedly to lift it up. Walk through. * * * * * PART 2 * * * * * Use the button to lower the forklift. Hop behind the controls to start driving the thing. The controllers are exactly the same as othe vehicles, except that the forklift doesn't have a boost. Instead, the A button and the Y button lower and raise the lift respectively. Raise the lift to about medium height and then zoom through the halls. Run into every pig that you see to kill them instantly and snag an achievement in the process. Follow the arrows on the walls to reach your destination. When you come across a damaged fence with a broken forklift, it's time to, as Duke says, "stop forking around". So, get out of the forklift and then use the broken forklift to get over the fence. Sprint through this next area and burst through the only openable door. Run up the stairs to enter the control room. Flip the switch in here to restore power to this part of the dam. Run back out to the forklift area and then kill all of the pigs in this area. Use the button to lower the forklift and drive it over to the little elevator on the other side of the room. Use the button to partly raise that elevator, and then raise the lift on the forklift high enough for Duke to use it to jump on the broken elevator, but not high enough that he won't be able to jump onto it. Go through the door and then open the elevator. Press the switch in the elevator to reach the next level. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - S. Generator Room - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Run out of the elevator and then run down the stairs to get a briefing from the general. Apparently, by shutting off all of the power to the dam, the portal that the aliens are using to reach the United States can be closed. Right. So go through the double doors and then destroy the purple plants while making your way through the organic alien junk. Keep going until you see a ladder and climb up to reach the crane controls. Position the concrete pipes as far to the right as they'll go, and then use them to jump across to the generator. Then walk over to the next generator and walk through the hole in the fence, walking along the alien tentacle like a bridge. Then go to the second generator, where this another tentacle to walk across. This will lead to a catwalk. Jump on the catwalk and then have a short conversations with the guy working the controls. Head up the stairs, grab the Devastator, and be prepared for battle. The aliens will then start attacking Duke as the platform slowly moves. Just keep killing them until the boss fight triggers. * * * * * * * * * BOSS FIGHT!!! Octaking * * * * * * * * * What went from being the easiest boss fight has now become the most difficult. There is beer in the corner near where you got the Devastator, so grab it. Now hide under the little roof, use the beer, and then start tossing pipe bombs at the smaller flying aliens in quick succession. There is a pile of pipe bombs sitting next to the ammo box in case you need to refill on pipe bombs. Keep doing this until they stop respawning. That's the hard part, and it's over. Yeah, it only took one paragraph to describe, but when you're actually trying to do it, it's going to be difficult. Regardless, switch to the Devastator and don't let up on the right trigger. Fire a crap load of missiles at the Octaking and never let up. Resupply as you need to do, and just stand your ground, firing missiles right at its ugly face. Eventually, it will start throwing objects at you. Avoid these, and then it will start firing blue shockwaves at you. Strafe to the left and to the right to avoid these, and keep firing that Devastator into the boss's face. DO NOT SHOOT THE OCTAKING WHEN HIS HEALTH IS GONE. There is a GLITCH here that will make the boss unkillable if you shoot it while it's trying to do its "death" animation, which will make you have to REDO the entire boss fight. So, BE VERY CAREFUL. I can't stress this enough. The Octaking will then have a sudden second life. He will start pulling the platform to him using electricity. Fire Devastator rounds right into his face until his health is completely gone and he is dead for good. * * * * * * * * * BOSS FIGHT!!! Octaking * * * * * * * * * With the Octaking dead, stairs will be opened up for Duke. Walk down the stairs and make your way along the catwalk to the Octaking's dead body. Go through the door next to it, and then hop on top of the elevator to the right. The elevator will go down and the dead body will fly off. Jump off of the elevator and into the cold, watery depths below. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - T. Underground - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Jump up into the next room. Shoot the fire extinguisher on the wall to put out the fire, and then walk through. Walk down the stairs and go through the door to be in a large room with generators. Walk past the first generator, and then hop down into the next room. Walk around to the ladder and climb up to get by the alien tentacle. Walk over to the toolbox and push it into the fan. Then go through the open door to the right and push that toolbox into the fan as well, which will destroy it. Jump down onto the now broken fan and then climb up the ladder over here. Hang a left and walk through this hallway. Head through the next room and you'll see a vent grate barely hanging on. Jump up on the shelf and then use a melee attack to knock the vent grate away. Walk through the vent and hop down. * * * * * PART 2 * * * * * Jump into the water and swim under. Swim through the open double doors at the bottom of the pool of water. The vents on the ground that have bubbles can be swam over to refill Duke's oxygen meter. Swim through the hallways until you come across a door. Turn the valve next to the door to the left in order to open it. Swim through and then hug the wall to avoid getting sucked up in the van. Swim through the open door, and then use pipe bombs underwater to kill the alien insects. Do this quickly, because Duke's oxygen runs out rather fast, and the aliens are protecting an air vent that can be used to refill your oxygen. Swim through the next hallway and you'll see a ladder. Have Duke climb up the ladder to be rid of the worry of drowning for the time being. Walk through the next area to be at the top of the generators. Jump down to the floor below. A rocket will come out of a nearby room, destroying a generator and killing the lights. Switch on Duke Vision and go investigate the source of the rocket. You will be in a flooded room full of alien enemies. Keep Duke Vision on and run around killing all of the aliens. When they are all dead, a couple more will burst through the wall. These guys will have RPGs, so take them out fast. Then go through the hole in the wall, and there will be an shielded alien with an Enforcer. Toss pipe bombs at his sides to try to take him out quickly, and then go through the doorway. Walk down the stairs with the alien junk covering the walls. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - U. The Clarifier - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Keep walking down the stairs and then bust through the organic barricades. Kill the pigs that you will encounter, and then go through the next door. Walk down this hallway and go through the double doors. Smoke the cigar that is sitting on the desk to boost Duke's Ego. Break the boxes that are blocking the doorway with melee attacks and head into the next hallway. There are a bunch of pig aliens in this hallway that are packing powerful guns like RPGs and Enforcers. Stay back and strafe to the left and right while constantly firing at these enemies until they are dead. Then notice the scaffolding with the yellow ladder attached. Push it forward until it is stopped by boxes. Smash the boxes with melee attacks, and then finish pushing the scaffolding. Climb up and walk onto the next area. Shoot the red barrels on the platform with the lone alien pig, and then drop down into the next room. Pick up the beer off of the desk. Walk out into the large area. Kill any aliens, and then a guy will burst through a wall on a scissor lift and crash into scaffolding. Aliens will come out of the hole, so take care of them. Notice the concrete slab that is being weighed down with a barrel? It's time to add more barrels to it to weight it down completely. Yup, it's time for another Half-Life 2-esque puzzle! There are four barrels that you need to find. Barrel #1 is located right in front of the slab. Pick it up and then drop it on the slab. Man the scissor lift for barrels #2 and #3. One of the barrels is located on the top of some scaffolding. Hop off the scissors lift and then toss the barrel to the ground below. Then drive it over to the roof of the office room that you came out of to begin with. There is a barrel on this roof as well. Toss it to the ground. Place both of the barrels on the concrete slab. This will trigger an attack from aliens! Kill them all. When the first wave is dead, more aliens will burst out of the garage door blocking off access to floor 3. Toss a couple of Trip Mines at the base of the door to blow them up when they step through. Then walk through here and grab the final barrel. Take barrel #4 to the slab and toss it on. The place will start shaking dangerously. Two enemies with robotic bottoms will then appear. Find a shotgun lying on the ground from one of the dead alien pigs and kill them. When they are both dead, climb the scaffolding next to the balance that you weighed down with the barrels. Climb the ladders to reach the top of the scaffolding. From here, jump onto the balance and run up it. Jump off and then run down the hallway. * * * * * PART 2 * * * * * A man will get blown up thanks to an alien-thrown pipe bomb. This also will knock down the door for Duke, though. Walk though, and then kill the insect aliens in the next area. There will be a flying alien that will constantly throw pipe bombs, so try to take him out as fast as possible. A couple of his buddies will then show up, so deal with them as well. Climb the scaffolding. Jump onto the concrete that connects the pillar to the wall. From there, jump on the alien tentacle. Walk across the tentacle like a bridge, and then jump on the piping. Use the pipes to crawl into the vent area, and then knock out the grate and hop down. Walk along the catwalk and avoid falling in the electrified water. If you do, it will mean instantaneous death for Duke. Jump on the wooden platforms that are floating in the water. Be sure to time your jumps to avoid the bolts of electricity that will shoot down in the middle of the gaps. Jump along to the other side, and then walk along the small catwalk here. Jump up and over the fence, and then walk into the next room. The catwalk that Duke is standing on will break, so take a left. Duck under any pipes that get in your way, and make your way to Duke's EDF buddy. With his dying breaths, he will give Duke the charges necessary to blow up the dam. When he is done talking, walk all the way to the end of the catwalk that he is laying on. There is a pornographic magazine on some crates. Look at it to boost Duke's Ego. There is a Railgun sitting on a box nearby him, and you need to make sure you have it equipped. Then climb down the ladder situated behind Duke's dead partner. Grab the switch and start moving the platform to the left. A bunch of flying aliens will come out of the water. Kill them all with the Railgun. When they are defeated, use the switch to finish the rotation. Sprint and jump over the elecrticity. Use the switch on the wall to turn off the electricity. Jump in the water and then submerge yourself. Approach the valve. Turn it all the way to the left. Replenish Duke's oxygen. Then keep swimming downards through the newly opened area. Keep swimming, stopping at vents to get some air as needed, until the next level is triggered. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - V. Blowin' the Dam - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Keep swimming and stopping at air bubble vents. When you swim out into a more open area, there will be a valve in plain sight. Turn it to the left to open a door above you. Swim upwards, using the vents, and then swim out through the broken window. Swim straight ahead. There will be a grating over here that needs to have a wall bomb placed on it. Do this, and then turn around. There should be four air bubble vents all grouped together. Stand still in them and take care of the flying alien that is swimming around down here before you proceed. To the left of the grate that you placed the bomb is a valve. Make sure Duke has full oxygen BEFORE interacting with the valve. Turn the valve to the left. This will turn off the oxygen bubble vents near your location, but it will also grant access to the next area. Follow the yellow pipe on the ground until you come across yet another valve. Turn that valve as well to open up the airways for oxygen bubbles. Then keep following the yellow pipe more. There may be flying (or should I say "swimming" ) aliens that will try to attack you every once in a while, so take them out before they do too much damage. When the yellow piping ends, the location of the next bomb's placement will be in plain view, and there will also be an RPG located to the left of the valve. Replace the weapon you have with the lowest ammo with the RPG, then turn the valve to the left. Resupply your oxygen, and then try to attach the bomb... * * * * * * * * * BOSS FIGHT!!! Energy Leech * * * * * * * * * This guy can be a serious annoyance. You need to constantly be aware of how much oxygen Duke has left, and you also have to avoid this guy's attacks. The leech will attempt to smash Duke, and it will also try to suck Duke into its mouth. Pipe bombs do the most damage to it, so be sure to use any pipe bombs that you have against it right off the bat. There are more pipe bombs laying on the yellow pipe where the oxygen bubbles come out of. When you run out of pipe bombs, it's time to rely on the RPG. To the left and to the right of the oxygen bubbles, there are two ammo resupply crates. Move from each one while firing constantly at the leech. Make sure Duke's oxygen is always in the blue. Keep resupplying your ammo when you run out of rockets. Keep doing this until the leech collapses. Approach the leech and then interact with it. Tap A repeatedly to rip open the leech's head. Stuff the bomb inside of its head and swim away. The leech will then blow into pieces. * * * * * * * * * BOSS FIGHT!!! Energy Leech * * * * * * * * * With the leech dead and gone, swim through the tunnel that it came out of. Stop at the bubbles to replenish your oxygen. Keep swimming until you can look up at the ceiling and see light coming through. Swim through this hole and emerge in the open air. * * * * * PART 2 * * * * * OH NO! The dam is flooding! Run through the dam as fast as possible. Click on the left analog stick to make Duke sprint. Follow the arrows on the wall. It's best to have a shotgun equipped in case there are any pig aliens that confront you while you are running. Eventually, you'll be running along a catwalk that will then explode. If Duke falls into the water, turn around and swim to a nearby ladder. If not, hang a left and then jump over the railing onto some red pipes. Keep running and following the arrows. You'll come across a staircase where someone is chucking a bunch of red barrels down. It will be tempting to seek cover in the crevices built into the right side of the wall, but don't do this. Instead, just run straight up the stairs, moving left and right to dodge the barrels as they come. When you reach the top of the stairs, kill the pig that was throwing them and return to following the arrows. Duke will fall off another catwalk after a rockslide destroys it as well as a dam worker. Run towards the next arrow and follow it to a ladder. Climb the ladder, and then turn around to the tunnel that was once filled with water. Crouch to get inside of it and then sprint down the tunnel. A big wave of water will nail Duke and send him flying out of the dam. In style! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - W. Final Battle - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Walk over to the president and his cronies. They will then be killed by the Cycloid! Oh noes! * * * * * * * * * BOSS FIGHT!!! Emperor Cycloid * * * * * * * * * Duke begins this boss fight with only a pistol at his disposal. This Cycloid acts exactly like the one from the beginning of the game. Just avoid his attacks until an alien pig shows up. He will be using an RPG. Shoot him repeatedly with the pistol and then grab the RPG. Fire all of the RPG rounds into the Cycloid. Keep repeating this process until the Cycloid's health is gone. Then run up to hit to initiate a QTE. Tap A repeatedly to rip a tube out of its arm. More enemies will be added to the fray. The jetpack guys will start attacking Duke as well, but just ignore them. Dodge all the attacks, collect RPGs by killing pigs with your pistol, and then empty all of the RPG rockets right into the Cycloid. When its health is gone all the away again, rip the tubes out of its other arm. The EDF will drop ammo for Duke, as well as a Devastator. Equip the Devastator and then waste all of the rockets into the Cycloid. Then waste all of the RPG rounds into the Cycloid. Replenish your ammo when you run dry and keep repeating the process until his health is at zero yet again. Run up to the Cycloid, rip the tubes out if its back, and then do as the game demands. Piss in its eye! The Cycloid is dead, but Duke's troubles are not over. * * * * * * * * * BOSS FIGHT!!! Emperor Cycloid * * * * * * * * * The president had ordered a nuke be sent to this location before he died! The general will swoop down in a helicopter. Sprint over to him and tap X to make Duke grab the general's arm. They will then fly away to avoid the blast from the nuclear explosion. Hail to the king, baby. You did it. Watch the credits, and then watch the scene following them. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 5.
