Take your dragon through any cave/tunnel into which he'll fit. Especially the ones with a "save" halfway through. If you walk through one of these save points leaving Arokh behind, he may be permanently gone when you return. So take him with you if the game will let you. 2. They're massive files, but save more than one game. If you accidentally save in a no-win spot, wanna go back for a missed item, get stuck somewhere, or your game craps out on you- have another (recently saved) save file to go back to. Those of us who've been around and played a few times have all had something happen, or at least heard someone else's frustrated rant. So save often, more than one file. I usually leapfrog three or four when I go through from start to finish. I have decided to rewrite and add more to this Walkthrough/FAQ to help as much as I possibly can with every aspect of the game. Walkthrough ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ****************** *Background Story* ****************** There are legends from times long past, of an age without kings. When the world was united by an alliance between Dragon and Man. These are the legends of The Order of the Flame. When noble warriors soared on the winds. The great wonders were worked upon the world. Though The Order held strong for centuries, it was destroyed at last from within. Brought low by the traitors of the Dark Union. War engulfed the world and civilization crumbled. By the time the madness had ended all had been laid to waste. The Dragons of the Order wounded in spirit, withdrew into timeless slumber. To await the time when the virtues of the order were honored once more. For mankind, the fallen age had begun. Centuries wore on, evil grew ever stronger, until the vial banner of the dark union was raised once more. It was then that the warrior Rynn discovered the resting place of the dragon Arokh. Through the forgotten ritual of the bond, their souls were joined as one. And the first faint spark of The Order was rekindled at last. Together they took to the skies like a rising storm, driving back the forces of the Dark Union, and ending their dreams of conquest. Victory was theirs, but it had come at a terrible cost. Rynn's village had been destroyed, and her younger brother, the last that had remained of her family had been lost. Saddened and weary they returned to Rynn's village, to search for any that might have survived. Little did they know, their struggles had only just begun... ************************************************************************* *Play Drakan: The Order of the Flame on PC to play the first part of the* *story * ************************************************************************* ============================================================================== 2.01 - Introduction ============================================================================== Back in Rynn's Village..... Rynn rests on her knees leaning against a shovel, after digging graves for her village. As she looks around in disbelief, Arokh comes flying in from a distance. After landing Arokh talks to Rynn; "I've been up and down the valley, but I could find no one. We're alone here. Even the Wartoks have moved on." As Rynn stands up she tells Arokh, "Some of the villagers could still be in hiding." But Arokh shakes his head saying "No. Rynn. They're gone. The Wartoks did their work all too well. You are the only one left." Rynn slowly turns around and says slowly, "Then...it's over, isn't it? They're really gone...everyone I knew." "It's time we left this place. Nothing but ghosts remain here now.", says Arokh. Looking worried Rynn asks, "But where then? There must be other villages, but..." Arokh butts in, "I know of a place. I've been...hearing things. Rynn. They recite words I have not heard in over six hundred years. It is the Grand Summons of the Order." "The Order?", says Rynn. Arokh replies, "I must answer it Rynn. If others have returned to the old ways, then we must find them!" "I agree, but...I cannot leave. Not yet. There are still dead to be buried. These were my friends, Arokh.", says Rynn. Arokh replies, "I understand, but I cannot wait. The call must be answered. It comes from the North, where the city of Surdana once stood. Will you join me when you finish here? By foot, you could make the journey in a few days." "Give me two days, then I'll come after you.", says Rynn. Arokh replies, "I will be waiting." and then flies towards Surdana. Rynn looks at the loss and lowers her head. Days later..... Rynn arrives at the gates to Surdanas' land, soldiers are standing around looking for something. One of the soldiers points to Rynn and tells the other that she is coming. He turns around and talks to Rynn. After the conversation Rynn is left to move around on her own towards the Palace. ****************************************************************************** 2.10 - Surdana ****************************************************************************** The General will give you your first quest. You must meet with Lady Myschala. Once you are able to move go over to the tent on the right. The game will tell you how to talk to people, walking to the barrel tells you to smash it for treasure, and walking over to the dummy tells how to fight. Once you completed some training on the dummy continue along the road, heading southwest. You will shortly start up a cut scene with some grull bandits that will try to ambush you. The leader is Olak, who wants Rynn to pay a toll for using his road. Kill off the three grull and collect the items Olak drops. Now head up the path to the east to reach Olak's little cave hideout. At the cave you will learn how to pick up multiple items from the chest. Smash the barrels and crate for possible items. Now turn around and head back to the road. As you reach the end of the wooden fence to your right a blackwing dragon will fly in front of your face and go off to the west. Continue down the road to reach a broken bridge. You will be telled how to make it across the gap. If you fall, don't worry about it, Rynn will land safely on the ground below, just turn around and take the path back up the hill and try again. Walk around the road to see a single grull standing ahead. As you walk forward a second grull will push a rock onto the tree below, killing off the grull. Roll under the tree ahead and attack the grull that comes down from the slope on the left. Collect the items he drops and head down the hill. At the bottom, go to the tent to the southwest. Talk to the archer in front of the tent, now walk under the tent and grab the Short Wood Bow off the table. Smash the barrel next to the table to search for treasure, then walk a few steps south to start the archery tutorial. You can also give yourself some swimming lessons with the pond to Rynn's right, you will need this skill to survive through the game. Now head southeast to talk to a worker and reach the town gates. Talk to the guard to be informed about Lady Myschala, waiting for you in the Palace. Head south into town and go along the stone path. Once you reach the last tree a cut scene will start up. Head west towards the tavern and go to the tower bridge to the left of it. Step on the platform to have it raise to the top and go across the bridge. You will activate a cut scene upon entering the palace. Head past the Royal Seer and go through the doors straight ahead, go through the open doorway and up the stairs. Another cut scene will activate with Lady Myschala. Arokh will return and give you a quest to go into the Shadowmire, you'll need to retrieve a rune. The General will give you 300 gold to purchase weapons and armor at the Blacksmith shop. Enter the shop and talk to the blacksmith. He will give you an optional quest to complete while in the Shadowmire, get the helm of Toadfist for two thousand gold pieces. Buy a weapon if you would like, although it isn't neccessary right now. Then head straight across to the alchemists' tower. Talk to the Alchemist at the top of the tower, he will ask if you can collect some Blackwing Dragon eggs. Purchase some health potions and/or elixirs and exit the tower. Don't bother with the mana potions since you have no magic at this time. Head to the west and talk to the cowaring man in front of the house. He will ask if you can go into his house and kill all the huge spiders for a reward. Enter the house and jump over to the other side of the bed. Open the chest for any treasure. Go to the east wall and open the chest here for any treasure as well. Now turn to the north and go down into the cellar. When you reach the first room, you will have one large spider to deal with. Take it out and smash the four barrels found in this room. Go down the east tunnel and turn left to go down the stairs. You will encounter three oversized spiders in this room. Open the chest in the northeast corner for treasure, then go to the middle of the east wall and hit it three times to make the wall fall down. Pull the lever and head up the north stairs. Look out for the spider that is wandering around this hallway, it will be coming from the left. Kill it off and then continue down the tunnel. Turn to the north and enter the spider infested room. If you didn't kill the spider wandering the hall, there is a good chance it is in this room along with two others. Kill them and smash the nine barrels and two crates for any treasure. You will also find a Wood Club lying on the back side of the crates. Head back into the hallway and turn to the right to find some stairs. Once you reach the top you will enter another room with the last three spiders. Kill them off and Rynn will comment on how that seems to be the last of them. Open the chest on the east wall and smash the twelve barrels for treasure. Continue south to reach the first cellar room again, then run up the stairs into the house. If you pulled the behind the secret wall, you can now access the door on the left side of the bed. Enter the door and pull the lever found inside. Leave the house and talk to the scared man for your reward, 250 gold. Go east and enter the tavern. Talk to the man sitting closest to the entrance, staring at the Minstrel. He will give you an optional quest to find a monster known as the Inquisitor who lives under the city. You will get a clue about a woman that escaped, but only mentioned a waterfall. Now talk to the tavern keeper behind the counter to hear about the Brotherhood of the Word, You will deal with this a little later. Exit the tavern and head east towards the city gate. Smash the three barrels to the right of the gate, then exit out to the stone bridge. Head east to the cliff edge and turn north. Head to the mountainside and head east down the slope to the mean woman's house. Enter the house and open the chest for any items. Leave the house and head south around the bend in the path. You will have four or six Grull come after you. Dispose of them and continue along the southern mountain wall. Look on the left side for the second house located in a small closed off area. Talk to the farmer to find out his wife has gone missing. Head back south and turn to the west. Head north at the first turn, then go east when you reach the wall. You will come to Mushroom Cave, enter with caution. Around the first bend you will find your first Scavenger that you can kill. Start swinging as you run towards it so it doesn't have a chance to swing back with its claws. Now go east into the large room and kill the two scavengers off to the left. Turn south and head down the path to the bottom of the cave. On the north side of the middle island you will find a skeleton with a Potion of Life next to it. Head northeast to the green glowing mushrooms and grab the Bitter Touch sword behind it. Head back south and up the ramp. Go north and into the next tunnel. Wrap around to the left, then go east down the ramp. As you come around the corner on the bottom of the large room, three scavengers will be sitting in a small cave to your left and a fourth will be coming around the corner to the right of the small cave entrance; dispose of them. Inside the cave you will find a bag of gold. Exit the small cave and head west towards the pillars. Kill the scavenger on the left and the one that comes from the north down the slope. Go into the middle of the pillars and open the chests for treasure. Take the Steel Club off the pedestal in the center, then head north up the path. As you make your way around the top edge, three scavengers will come after you from the path ahead. Head around the other side of the first large room and enter another tunnel. Kill the Scavanger off to the left and take the treasure by the skeleton. Kill the Scavanger that comes from further up the tunnel and continue north. Start heading up the ramp to the east and kill the two Scavangers found on the path above. Run up the spiral and go south. At the intersection turn left to find the missing woman. Walk west to the white rock and push into the large boulder. Walk out into the grass to allow the woman to come out activating a cut scene. Run along with her back to her house and talk to the farmer again. He will give you an award for 300 gold for finding her. Head west back into town and resupply yourself with items, new weapons and/or armor, and repair some old ones or sell some if you like. If you activated the last two switches from the spider cellar house, enter the door on the east corner of the blacksmith to pull another lever. Head back across the stone bridge and head north along the small path. This time turn west and follow the sign. Head down the path to the guard standing by the gate. Talk to him so he opens the gate for you and enter it. In a short while you will be asked to save your game, you can't move on unless you say yes. ****************************************************************************** 2.11 - Shadowmire ****************************************************************************** Head around the water and get onto the land on the right side once you leave the tunnel. Talk to the man standing by the fence to find out his daughter was kidnapped by Trogs, Rynn will have to find her. Cross the bridge and follow the Trog to the left down the hillside. Walk into the water and head south, be careful to watch out for the Trog hiding in the water ahead. Smash the barrel found on the south piece of land in case of treasure. Now go under the falls and press L1 to collect anything that fell from a barrel that comes from above. Head north through the water, watch out for the Trog Mage to your left and a Trog to the right. Head down the right path to a hut built into the side of the wall. Inside you can smash five barrels and pick up a Rusty Short Sword off the ground. Exit the hut and head west, watch out for any Trogs that may come jump out at you. Go underneath the platforms and head to the right side to kill a Trog and enter the hut in the wall. Inside you will find a treasure chest, four barrels, and a Half Mana potion on the ground. Exit the hut and continue up to the west and kill the three Trogs that come after you. Two more Trogs will be waiting a little further up, one by another hut entrance and one on the right side behind a tree. After you killed them, enter the hut for a Short Wood Bow, a lot of crates, an explosive barrel, and a chest. As you exit a Trog may have snuck up towards the hut. Be careful as you exit and dispose of him. Head back in the south to the starting point of the platforms. Get on the land to the right and leap to the platform where two barrels are resting. Destroy the barrels then climb to the next level of platforms. Smash the barrel without the markings and then hop to the next platform to the left. Go along the platform path and smash the barrels found on the next circular section. Leap up to the next section, then a running jump to the next higher platform with the crates and barrels. You will have two barrels right in the front and another off to the side. Climb the stack of crates and leap up to the next level of platforms. Open the chest and grab any treasure, then go around the left side. Drop down the next two platforms and smash the barrels. Head along the platform and smash the barrels. Drop down with a roll to help soften the landing and head north. Up ahead will be three Trogs and a Trog Mage waiting around the trees. Take them out and head back to the hut on the northern wall. Inside you will find a Trog on the left back side of the hut. Smash all the barrels and exit back into the water. Head north and you will come to a swinging log. Watch as a Trog runs under the log and gets mowed down by its spikey sides. Crouch down and roll under the swinging log and into a clear safe place. As you enter this next area, lure the Trog on the left over to Rynn and attack him as soon as possible. Moving forward you will encounter a new type of enemy. A tiki masked arrow shooting machine. It will go under water and pop back up to try and shoot Rynn with an arrow. Go through the machines and make it to the back section of the area. Kill the four Trogs and Trog Mage, then go to the ladder near the north wall to get on the platform above. Smash all the barrels on the platforms, except the ones with the markings on it, and open the chest for a Potion of Invisibility. Go back over to the ladder and climb down to the water. Head south to the land and run up the hill. You will reach some ruins with a large fire burning in front of it. Talk to the man next to the doorways, Nichols the Bold. He is looking for something, but is thinking he is in the wrong area. Talking to him will activate him for something later. Head along the path to the northwest and wrap around the path. Kill the Trog when it comes to attack you. Taking the path west, kill the second Trog and go down the slanted path to the right. As you cross the bridge, watch out for two Trogs that are crossing the bridge from the other side. Smash the barrel to the right, by the tree. Now enter the hut and smash all the barrels and open all chests. Exit the hut and cross back over the bridge. Climb the path back up and go southwest to continue on. You will enter a tunnel with a Trog standing by a table. Kill him and turn to the right to fight two more Trogs. Take the item from the chest, then head south. Smash the barrels to your right, then head down the tunnel. Take the right most opening and be careful not to fall in the holes just to the left of you. Kill the Trog ahead and smash the barrels, move on to exit the cave. Head down the hill and fight another Trog standing guard next to the railing. When you reach the bridge, pull out your bow and arrow, then snipe the Trog Mage on the other end. Jump across and then leap over the railing on the right side. In front of the tiki statue you will get a Full Mana potion. Go northeast down the path and jump over to the platform, kill the Trog standing on it. Once you drop down into the water you can not leave the Shadowmire until you fully complete it. If you are low on items or want to repair any weapons, now is the time to run back to the start and exit back to Surdana.Drop down to the next platform, then go into the water. Go southwest to destroy the few arrow shooting machines, then turn back around. Head along the water until a cut scene starts up. If you talked to the man at the very start of the Shadowmire you will have found his daughter. Fight the three Trogs to save her. The tunnel to continue on is blocked by fallen rocks, you must take the alternative route and climb the ladder. Kill the two Trog on the platform, one may be off to the left. Go east up a skinny path uphill to get another Trog and find a chest containing the Bow of Speed. Go back down the hillside and enter the hut on the left. Smash the barrels and collect the health potion on the ground. Now drop into the hole, the lid will close on you. Kill the Trog down here, smash the barrels, and open the chest. Head into the next room and drop down into the cave area. Take out your bow and shoot the spiders as you come towards them. Smash the barrels, then start to go into the next room. Have your bow equipped and search around for a lock on to any spiders. Shoot them from a distance, then enter the larger room with some water. Go to the left of the water and continue forward slowly with the bow out looking for any spiders. Prepare yourself for a very large spider around this corner to the right. You may want to shoot it with some arrows, then switch to your sword if it comes after you. Just keep your distance and it should never see you. Go to the left now with the bow out, picking off spiders sitting around. Smash the two barrels on the side and walk up the hill. At the top, a very small cat sized spider will be at the bend to the right. Shoot it from a distance and approach slowly and carefully. Another really large spider awaits around the bend. Sneak over just a little bit on the side to shoot an arrow at the huge spider, then go back to the right. Hopefully the large spider will either stay where it was or just get stuck on the side of the wall. Repeat firing as fast as you can, and if needed attack with the sword. Wind your way up the tunnel sniping the remainder of the spiders and smashing the barrels. Now jump on the lift to go up a level. Head north once you reach the top and exit the tunnel to find the Tree of Mourning. Go down the path and enter the tree to start a cut scene. Rynn can't reach the rune so you must find another way down to it. Head northeast and enter the cave. At the end of the tunnel a Trog will come running at you, kill him and exit the tunnel. Just to the left of the exit is a barrel to smash. Another Trog will come after you from the path ahead. Head north and cross the log bridge, killing the Trog to the left and looting the chest. Head the opposite way down the path and jump over the eroded path section. Leap up into a grab on the platform above, then smash the barrels up there. Drop down onto the skinny piece of land below, then use the platforms to carefully drop into the water. Kill the Trog Mage and the three Trogs below, then head west to kill off a single Trog. Then turn around and wrap around to head south past a sign that says Keep Out. Kill another Trog and walk forward to find the Hermit's Hut. Go up the left side and walk over to the hut's front door to activate a cut scene. Grab the key to the right of the door. Go to the other side of the door and open the chest for a Steel Club and health potion. Exit the hut and walk around to the right, you will find two barrels and a Rusty Axe. Now drop back into the water and head west to Tull's Mine with the closed gate. Walk over to the keyhole and press L1 to use the key. Kill the Trog on the other side. Enter the mine and go south, watch out for three Trogs and head south east. A satchel will be sitting on the table to the right, turn back around and use the lift in the lower section. Grab the satchel straight ahead and kill the three Trogs in the room to the right. Go around the corner to the right and kill three more Trogs. Take the lift up and kill the two Trogs waiting for you at the top, grab the satchel off the table on the southern wall. Go east into the next room and smash the two barrels. Head north to exit onto an overlook of Tull's hut. Head west and smash the barrel around the first bend. Kill the Trog standing outside the next entrance to the mine. Go inside and grab the last satchel off the table to the left, go north and pull the lever to raise the elevator. Lower yourself down the shaft and return to the Hermit's Hut. Talk to Tull and he will give you a Blasting Pot to use on the sealed door found in the southern cave. Exit the hut and head to the southern cave. Be ready for a Scavenger to come running at you as soon as you start to enter the cave. When you turn left three more Scavengers will come running towards you. Take care of them and head east. At the next bend three more Scavengers will come running your way. Go up to the ruins in the corner and two more Scavengers will run up to you. Inside the ruins you will find a Wood Long Bow and some barrels to smash. Go south and turn east to find a hole in the wall with a chest. Open it and head west to the sealed doorway. Run up to the door to activate a cut scene. Kill the three Trogs on the other side and turn right at the intersection. Kill the Trog by the closed gate and smash the barrels open for any treasure. Head straight at the intersection and go around the bend smashing all the barrels and killing the two Trogs on the far end. Call the lift and lower yourself down the shaft, killing the Trog waiting for you below. Go west into the underground reservoir and attack the five Trogs and Trog Mage. You will find a barrel on the inside corner of the wall in the middle of the room. Three more barrels sit in the northwest part of the room as well. Head south into the right doorway to head down some stairs into a large hall. You will have to take care of four Trogs in this room, then head north into the center doorway. You will come down into a jail area, with Nichols the Bold trapped in the left cell. Pull the lever in front of his cell to open the gates. However, if you didn't talk to him by the fire at the start of the Shadowmire you won't find him in here. Talk to him to activate his next location and go to the next cell. Inside the cell will be two barrels, smash them to get a Potion of Invisibility. Exit to the great hall again and go straight across to the small storage room. Smash the barrels and take the health elixir off the shelf. Go in the Great Hall again and turn right. Enter the door behind the pillars and run up the slope, killing the three Trogs and Trog Mage. Head up the stairs to the north and you will come to a kitchen. Kill the two Trogs walking around and go up the next set of stairs. You will now enter the library. Kill the two Trogs standing around and climb the ladder on the north wall. Jump across to the beams above and walk around the ledge to the bags of gold and the Rusty Short Sword. Hop back onto the bookcase and take the ladder back down. Exit through the southern door to go up some more stairs. Kill the three Trogs up here and go north. To the east is a small cave like area with another Trog with some crates and barrels. Go north and jump over the steel cages to drop down in front of a doorway. Carefully go up the slope and take out your bow. A very large spider will be sitting looking your way on the other end of this room. Shoot it from a distance, then go to the chest it was guarding for an Invulnerability Potion. Drop down the hole in the northwest corner and quickly turn southeast to face eight Trogs. After they are disposed of, head north and kill another Trog. The tunnel will turn to the right leading you downhill and then turns to the left allowing access to the the bottom of the Tree of Mourning. Exit the tree and head back south along the path, turn left and go up the tunnel to the room with the steel cages. A cut scene will start showing a gate on the other end of the room releasing three Trogs into the room, kill them and run through the now open gate. Go into the Dining Room and out the west wall. Kill the Trog and quickly go up the left side to avoid the Trog Mage. Kill the three Trogs and go west killing two more. Now turn south and call the lift to go down towards Toadfists lair. Follow the path north and walk along the edge of the cliff. Enter the throne room and fight Toadfist for the crown. Stay close but not in arms reach to him, otherwise he will throw magical projectile balls at you. When his hands glow move away a little more to let him start spinning around, when he finishes spinning he will become dizzy. Perform a spin attack to knock him off his feet, then slash at him. Open the chests and smash the barrels on both sides before you leave, then head back up the lift. Head north killing the two Trog Mages standing near the exit to the cave. Pick up the potion on the ground then exit. Head across the bridge, it will break sending you into some deep water. Kill the four Trog Mages, saving Nichols' if you found him the last two times. He will give Rynn a book to allow access to a room with a Blade of the Order. Head northwest through the water to find the circular stone with pillars on it just as Nichols said. Stand in the middle to activate a cut scene and open the gate. Inside the room a sword is standing on its handle. You can either grab it and fight the skeletons that come out or run past it towards the entrance press the L1 button to have it trail behind you and skip the experience points. Head east to reach the path ahead and go left uphill. Enter the cave and kill the two Trogs and Trog Mage. Open the chest and smash the barrels, then continue uphill. Open the chests, then pull the lever to open the locked gate. You are now right at the start of the Shadowmire. Head down the trail to the bridge and cross it to the other side. If you rescued the daughter talk to the father to get your reward of a Potion of Life and a Diamond worth 225 gold. Exit the Shadowmire and head back into town. Remember that once you save your game on the way out of the Shadowmire, you can't reenter. This means anything you left behind is now gone forever. ****************************************************************************** 2.12 - Back to Surdana ****************************************************************************** When you exit a cut scene will start, Myschala will be summoned outside to talk to a large Desert Lord. Once you can move again, head back into town and start another cut scene. Arokh will ask for the Rune and then say that you have to go to the Andrellian Isles for a guide. Enter the Blacksmith shop to the left and hand over Toadfist's Helm if you picked it up for a nice two grand. At this time you may want to go buy some more equipment from him as well. Go across the street to the Alchemist and buy any needed potions. Hop on the dragon and head southeast along the mountains. A Blackwing Dragon will be resting in a nest, kill it then land next to the nest and collect the three Blackwing Eggs. Head back to town and cash in the eggs at the Alchemist's place. Take Arokh and fly across the river to Jade's Magic Emporium. Jade will tell you more information about the Desert Lords. Purchase Fireball or Ice Blast, get Ice Blast if you have the skill level for it. If you haven't put any skill points into your magic yet, don't worry about it. Now go towards the farmers house to the east and turn south at the gap inbetween the mountain that wraps around to the mushroom caves and the single section to your right. Land on this upper piece and hop off Arokh. You will find a cave in the southeast corner. You will be entering a Grull cave, wrap around the two turns and fight three Grull. Depending how close you are to the tunnel to the next room, another Grull may come out towards you. In the chest by the fire is a Potion of Invisibility. Smash the two crates and three barrels for treasure, then head into the next room. Take this hallway around and fight off the three remaining Grull, a fourth if the one in the hallway didn't attack earlier, and enter the next room. Inside the large room you will find three barrells and two treasure chests as well as an Iron Axe on the large boxes. Exit the cave and get back on Arokh. Head west just over the first high peaked mountain and land on the ledge just past it. You will come to another cave opening, just above the locked gate below. Jump off Arokh and go inside. Just around the first corner is an oversized spider to take care of. After you kill it, go around the next bend with a weapon drawn to fight a Wartok. Not to far ahead another oversized spider will be on the cieling. Take it out with a bow. Go down the spiral ramp and fight a Wartok Mage and an axe welding Wartok. Next to the boulders under the spiral ramp you will find a Rusty Long Sword, a few barrels and two treasure chests. Just west of the chests is a skeleton on the ground with a bag of gold for you to take. Continue west to kill an oversized spider on the cieling, watch out for the Wartok Mage around the next corner. Kill the Wartok Mage and follow the path to the gated exit. Head around to the bonfire and kill the two Wartok standing by it. Turn back around to face the gated exit to see another Wartok come out of no where and take it down. If you look in the sky to the south you will see two Blackwing Dragons flying around. Jump on Arokh's back and kill them both so Rynn isn't attacked while she explores the ground. Go back to the bonfire by the two caves and jump off Arokh again. Head south and take the bridge to the other part of the land. Go to the northwest and climb down the hillside. Head northeast back towards the caves to find a bag of gold next to a deceased human, crushed by the large boulder. Now turn back around and take the path southeast to cross the river. Kill the two Wartok next to the bonfire and smash the barrels around them. Head south and then southeast and fight two more Wartok by another bonfire. Cross the bridge and head up the hill to the southwest. Continue to climb the mountain and go southwest, head up the hill just before the rock formation that serves as a bridge. Enter a small cave at the top and as you exit, fight the five Grull. Continue down the path to reach the Brotherhood of the Eternal Word. Enter the monastery and go east in the first book room to talk to the monk sitting at the table. Now enter the next room by heading west and talk to the monk by the empty bookcase. Head down into the crypt and save your game when it asks you to. Head down the set of steps next to the locked gate and head south. Turn left at the first chance and watch a skeleton come out of the coffin. Kill it and continue down the tunnel south. An iron club lays in the corner ahead. Continue through the tunnel, walk up to the gate and turn around. Walk back towards the way you came and the wall on Rynn's left will smash open revealing another skeleton. Enter the newly opened path and down the stairs. Head north, when you reach the left turn a skeleton will come out of a coffin while another one busts down the wall on the right side. Kill them both, then enter the right hole and open the treasure chest inside. Continue north and turn left at the next intersection to fight another skeleton. Head east down the stairs. As you reach the bottom of the stairs a gust of wind will blow out all the torches in the area. The wall on the left will break open revealing a skeleton and a half mana. Go around the next corenr to fight another wandering skeleton. As you head south, look to the left for another skeleton, to the right is another half mana. Continue on and pull the lever on the right. Immediatly turn around and fight the skeleton that busts through the wall behind Rynn. Go in the hole to open the chest. Go up the stairs and walk through the hole that opens, turn left and go through the now opened gate. Turn to the right and walk over to the coffins to activate the two skeletons inside them. After you fight them, head over to the opposite side and activate the last two coffins and kill the skeletons. Now is a good time to save your game. Head down the middle of the steps to watch the other side start to raise. Jump right in the center to have her grab on to the ledge, pull Rynn up on the other side and head down into the doorway. A skeleton will bust through a hole on the left side. Kill him and go to the right side to smash the wall open yourself. Open the two chests on the other side and take the Steel Mace. Head south down the long tunnel, when you reach the stairs turn to the right. A skeleton will bust out of the wall revealing a treasure chest. Head up the stairs into a large room with flame pillars. As you make your way around the room, the doors will get closed off and the pillars of fire will extinguish. Skeletons will raise from the ground and attack you, take them all out to open the southern door. Open the chests on both sides of the door before you leave the room. On your way to the next room another skeleton will bust through the wall on the left. In the next room, a skeleton will raise out of its coffin everytime you kill one of them. Exit to the west and the next rooms floor will break apart. Save your game and hop down to the floor below. Go to the southern edge and hop to the next piece of flooring. Then go north and climb up the broken pieces to enter the western door. Fight the two skeletons in this room and head west into the next room. Open the chests and smash the barrels, take the Iron Club off the ground and go back to the previous room. Head north to face a tall flame sword welding skeleton that wants to teach Rynn a lesson. If you turn to the south you will see two doors next to the corners, kill the skeletons inside them and go in the right one. The large skeleton will have a hard time following you inside either one of them. Smash the barrels and open the chests, then head back out into the large room to face the skeleton. Come back into one of these areas to get a little extra time to heal yourself or to cast a spell. When you finally kill the large skeleton, pick up his flaming sword to recieve the Flamestrike. Now enter the northern passage and step onto the teleporter to appear at the start of the catacombs. Head straight up the stairs and save your game to return to the surface. Talk to the monk behind the table in the first book room to recieve 1,000 gold for your help. Exit the Brotherhoods area and head east on Arokh. Once you pass the wooden bridge, land on the lower left side and have Rynn enter the cave that is in the side of the taller part of the hill. Go around the loop in the tunnel to see a huge chicken at the end of the cave. Kill it to take its Golden Egg worth a whopping 1,000 gold. Head back to Surdana to repair and purchase any items or weapons you may want. Now fly east inbetween the two mountains with the river in the middle. Save your game when it prompts you to and watch the cut scene. ****************************************************************************** 2.13 - Andrellian Isles ****************************************************************************** When Rynn is allowed to move again, fly her northeast to the opposite shore. You will come to the Grull Base, take out all the catapults to save the Outpost from total destruction. Once the catapults are destroyed, return to the Outpost and talk to Kegan. He will be the one you talked to earlier. He will give you 88 in gold and ask you to go talk to Sevoth. Climb the ladder of the watch tower to the west and smash the barrel for possible treasure, do the same to the tower to the east. Now head south through the campsite and smash the barrels in the tents at the end. Climb to the top of the lighthouse and smash the barrels up there. Now head over to the ship, climb up the back stairs and talk to the captain of the ship. He will tell you how two of his crew members jumped off the ship and took everything they could carry, including his charts. Head back past the tents and turn west right after you pass them. Enter the cave and go through it and talk to the blacksmith. Purchase any items, weapons, or armor you want to get at this time. Now go into the next room and head over to the man standing over Sevoth. He will tell Rynn that he was hit by a poisonous arrow, and two men ran off with his medicine pouch. Exit the cave and hop onto Arokh's back to start searching for the medicine pouch. Fly back over to the Grull Base, you will see a boat on the shore. Most likely this is where the two men went for some odd reason. Enter the single hut and smash the barrel for any treasure. Now hop back on Arokh and fly around the edge of the shore to the west. You will encounter three blackwing dragons flying around in this area, take them out quickly. On the other side of the mountain holding the Grull Base is a second entrance. Kill the Grull and Wartok wandering around, then land near the cave entrance. Smash the barrels around the single hut, then enter the cave to the west. Go through and enter the large cave area to the west. Kill the Grull that come after you, then look through the barred window to the south. A human will talk to the Wartok that comes up to him and they walk out of view together. Smash all the barrels in the area, kill the Grull Mage, and ride the lift up to the next level. Kill the grull that attacks you and walk around the lift to smash some more barrels. Continue through the cave and kill the Wartok and Grull that attack in this donut shaped room. When you leave the room to the east, look right to see a Wartok looking through a barred window. Quietly walk up behind him and kill him. Take the lift down into a medium sized room. Smash the barrels and grab the Iron Club off the crates. Straight ahead is a useless room that you can recall being a holding cell for that human. Take the lift back up and head east down the hill. Once you reach the large room, a cut scene will start to play. The human wants the Wartok to talk to Bonegrinder to allow him and his partner safe passage off the island in exchange for whatever information he wants. The Wartok tells him that they get all the information they need from the Desert Lords, killing the man. Once Rynn can move kill the large Wartok to retrieve Sevoth's Pouch. Go to the locked gate door and pull the lever, there may be a Mage Grull standing next to it. Leave the cave and go back to the Outpost. Enter the cave and talk to the man standing over Sevoth. Once Sevoth is revived talk to him. Sevoth tells Rynn that he can give her a magic spell but he has to replenish his power with 20 crystals first. He asks Rynn to go to the Crystal Mines to the northwest. Purchase any items you may need and head out of the cave. As you start to fly north, another Blackwing Dragon will attack you. Go northwest and you will a large mountainous area holding the Crystal Caves. Take out the Anti-Dragon Gun on the corner of the island. Head north along the shoreline to reach the ship docks. Kill all the Grull and Wartok on the ground, along with three more Anti-Dragon Weapons. You may have a run in with some more Blackwing Dragons as well. Go on the ships to smash the barrels, fly up to the upper southern hut and go inside for some barrels and a Rusty Axe. Head back to the ship docks and jump off Arokh, go west and fight off any Grull. Now enter the Crystal Mines, turn to the left and save when the game prompts you to. ****************************************************************************** 2.14 - Crystal Mines ****************************************************************************** Run along the winding tunnel to enter a huge multi story mine. A Grull will attack from Rynn's right and a Wartok will attak from the left. Deal with them and head to the right. Kill the second Wartok standing by the tunnel entrance and enter. Two Grull will be in this area, along with a Crystal Shard sitting in a wagon. Take the lift down and go to the north corner for a Wood Long Bow. Go west and kill the two Wartok and Grull. In this tunnel you will find Crystal stalagmite formations. You will have to use a weapon to shatter them for some Crystal Shards. Head through the tunnel and kill the two Grull. Continue south onto a small ledge area in the big room to take a Crystal Shard out of the cart on the left. Turn back around and take the west tunnel to continue through. You will come to more Crystal stalagmite formations for you to smash. Wrap around the next bend and fight some Grull. Smash the single Crystal stalagmite formation and take the lift down further into the mine. As the lift comes down, turn to the east to face some more Grull and a Wartok around the corner. Head south into the bottom of the really large room. About five Grull will come running out from behind a cave wall, with a big change in music. A short while later, you will notice the ground shaking as a really large beast comes walking around the same corner the Grull did. The large Beast will pick up any Grull in its way and throw them at Rynn as well as any barrels. Attack it with arrows and a sword when you can get behind it. Don't let the massive beast pick you up or else when it throws Rynn she will automatically die. Behind a crate in the southeast corner is a Wood Long Bow for Rynn to use if she ran out of Arrows. After everything has been killed, smash the barrels and get the Crystal stalagmite formations. Continue west through the tunnel the enemies came through. Fight the Grull and Wartok in this lower part of the room, then jump the chasm to the west. Climb the ladder and kill the two Grull on the top of the platform. Another gigantic beast is up here as well. After you take care of the enemies, smash the Crystal stalagmite formations and open the treasure chest in the northeast corner. Head north through the tunnel to continue. Turn east to face a few Grull and two Wartok, head down path to another large room with Crystal stalagmite formations. Climb the ladder to reach the wooden platforms above. Jump across the platforms to get to the southern tunnel entrance. Kill the Wartok and the Grull that comes through the doorway. Go past the lift and enter the large mine again. Kill the Wartok by the lever, this lever controls the door that locked behind you when you entered the bottom of the mine. Go around through another tunnel to the south and you will come along a treasure chest with a Potion of Invisibility and Full Mana inside it. Exit the tunnel to find more Crystal stalagmite formations. Go back through the tunnel and take the lift up. Kill the two Grull then walk through the tunnel and go back inside the large mine area, killing the wartok. Smash open the barrels off to the right for any treasure, then head back to the closed wooden gate. Pull the lever to open the door and make your way back to the mines entrance. Save when the game prompts you to. ****************************************************************************** 2.15 - Andrellian Isles Again ****************************************************************************** Have Rynn get on Arokh's back and fly back to the Outpost. Go inside the cave and talk to Sevoth, he will recharge his powers and teach you Lightning Bolt Level 1. Sevoth will now tell you where to find Bonegrinder. Sell the remaining Crystal Shards, repair needed weapons and armor, and purchase any new weapons and armor needed. Don't forget to stock up on any life potions. Exit the cave and hop onto Arokh, head north. Watch the ground for any enemies as well as the sky for anymore Blackwing Dragons. Northeast of the Crystal Mines is an island with Wartok, Grull, and a large beast to fight for any possible item drops. Head directly east of this island to an inlet just south of the path up to Bonegrinder's Lair. Have Rynn walk northeast to the bonfire and enter the cave. You will enter a large room with lava down below. Turn east and fight the Grull and Wartok that come after you. Head to the east and grab the Wood Long Bow off the crate. Go south into another large room. If you look on the west wall you can see a path that leads down to the lava and around some rocks to a treasure chest holding an Invulnerability Potion. Head back up the path and jump the chasm to the south making it onto an upper ledge. Kill the Grull up here, then hop onto the next ledge going south. Get on top of the crates and jump up one more ledge. Kill the Grull and Wartok, then open the treasure chest to the right of the door and the two chests on the east side. Enter the doorway and turn west, kill the Wartok on the other side. Carefully cross the lava by using the wooden plank on the ground and take the Steel Great Sword off the stone. Continue to hop across the stones floating in the lava and make it to land once again, killing the Grull. Head west into another room, go around to the right, killing the Wartok and Grull. At the eastern ruins is a treasure chest with a Potion of Invisibility. Grab it and head along the path, you will see a Wartok standing by a pedestal holding the captains charts. Take them and continue out of the caves. You can return them to the captain now if you want, then head back north. He will give you a bag of gold worth 486 gold. Now fly to the north and you will find a harbor just before the northern inlet. Attack all the Wartok and Grull and explore the section to smash some barrels left behind. Now enter the northern inlet to start a cut scene and find Bonegrinder as well as a sea dragon named Mezzidrel. While flying on Arokh lock on to the closest head and start to circle around the dragon nonstop while holding the fireball button. Come in pretty close so the lightning balls the dragon fires at you have a harder time navigating to reach you. Keep firing as you circle and eventually the dragon will meet its end. Go towards the tornado and you will now see a white glowing orb. Go through it with Arokh and he will now have the ability to use Lightning. Turn around and fly out a bit. You will see two Blackwing dragons coming your way, this will allow you to try out the new lightning powers. You will also notice a little cave with a raft outside underneath the land bridge where Mezzidrel's heads are sitting. Inside is a Grull, some barrels, and a treasure chest with a Mana Potion. Go back to the tornado and land on the cliff with the teleporter on it. Hop off Arokh's back and run into the little cave like area. Go to the back where a ring like structure is hanging on the wall. it will roll out of the way, revealing a tunnel. Head inside and turn to the right for a barrel. Now head down the tunnel, as you wrap around the corner a Wartok will teleport in front of you. Kill him and head north a little to smash some barrels. Now jump from one large pillar like circle to the next to make your way to the next tunnel. When you land on the last pillar platform another Wartok will teleport in front of you. Kill it and any Grull that come over to aide him. Carefully cross the wooden plank linking the two cliffs together. Right when you reach the other side two Wartok will teleport in front of you. Kill both Wartok and head south. You will now have to jump to another pillar cliff. This will make a Mage Wartok on the upper cliff teleport and start attacking you. Hop up onto the cliff, kill him and smash the barrels. Now drop back down and use the next pillar cliff to get into the next tunnel heading west. Kill the Grull then move forward to activate another teleporting Wartok. Hop off the upper cliff and go towards the tornado to the west. Head around the outter left side to reach a few barrels and a treasure chest containing a Long Battle Bow. Jump down onto the closest ledge in the hole. Then drop onto the next ledge, you will have to head over to the northwestern corner to hop onto the pile of crates for a safe drop. Carefully drop down from the crates and head west, once you pass the barrels a Wartok will teleport into the room. Head around the corner to the right and another Wartok that warped in will attack you. In the next large room, kill the two Wartok guarding the tunnel exit. Now head around the right ledge to kill another Wartok and break some barrels. Head back to the tunnel and drop down to the pillar cliff, use the lower one to safely make it all the way down. Kill the Grull and Wartok around the ring, then hop down the pillar cliffs to the lower level. Kill two more Wartok and enter the tunnel to the east. You will come to another wall with a circular structure on it, approach it to have it slide open. Once you enter the room a cut scene will start up with Bonegrinder. Know that if you need to get out of this battle for any reason, head to the southern area and pull the wooden lever. This will activate the teleporting circle to the right of the lever allowing you to teleport up to the top of the cliff area and out of the closed cave to reach Arokh. At first Bonegrinder will be invulnerable due to the fact that the crystals in the statues are powering him with lightning. You will have to use your Lightning Bolt spell to destroy them quickly. You can get Bonegrinder stuck over by the teleporter by running around the switch and rocks. He will try to run after you but become stuck sometimes. While you have time unequip your weapon and summon the Lightning Bolt by holding the Magic Button and pressing Up, Left, Right, Down to activate the spell. You can also use a bow and shoot the crystals if you have one on you. Once all three crystals are destroyed, Bonegrinders life will become vulnerable. Equip a weapon and attack him, a few good hits will kill the old aged Grull Mage. He will drop his staff for you to claim as your own. Head south and pull the lever if you haven't already to use the teleporter. Hop on Arokh, you can now use the Sunny Andrellian Isles glitch to fly around the Andrellian Isles to see it in it's nice sunny form or just fly forward to continue on with the story. ****************************************************************************** 2.16 - Ravenshold ****************************************************************************** When you regain control of Arokh, fly over to the ship straight ahead and land on the dock. Smash the breakable crates and head on to the ship. Inside the captains cabin you will find a Potion of Life on a little table to the right as you walk in. Also you can look at the posters on the walls to see a map of the Shadowmire and another one with the northlands all mapped out. Get off the boat and head north off the docks to the trading post. Talk to the Captain Fandrill to receive two items. Go inside the trading post and open the chest on the right side for some gold. Head north and wrap around the path to the left to go up a hill. Enter the hut to get any treasure out of the treasure chest and smash the crate underneath the hut. Head along the boardwalk to climb the ladder up to the lighthouse. You will be able to obtain a Mithril Club and a treasure chest. Now either climb down the ladder again or swan dive off the end of the walkway near the watchman. Get on Arokh and head north, taking the left route as it branches along the river. Watch out and destroy the Anti-Dragon Guns positioned along the mountain range in here. As you destroy the guns watch out for two Blackwing Dragons flying towards you as well. These dragons have a greenish-blue flame compared to the original orangish-red flame on the previous Blackwing Dragons. Land next to the western Anti-Dragon Gun, the one on the left as you make your way up river, after you destroy them all. Head around north and carefully slide down the hillside towards the campfire with Grull. Take the treasure by the trees and attack the Grull. Smash the barrels and crate by the fire for any treasure. Head around the little mountain and go east across the wooden bridge and find a cave with Grull coming out of it. Smash the barrels outside the cave and go in. As you head in to the large southern room, you will have to fight a few Grull along with a Mage Grull off to the right of the room. Head through the south eastern door to smash some barrels and open a treasure chest. Now head down the the right bend. Kill the Grull and Wartok that get in Rynn's way.When you go by the red forcefield do not touch it or else you will die in one hit. Continue south and take the path around the left. Kill the Wartok and Grull Mage, then smash some more barrels. Head around the path and kill one last Wartok off to the side. When you reach the ruins, head all the way to the west wall and turn south. You will notice a block on the ground with a strange marking of eight dots and two colored in on the left side while there is a larger circle with an arrow pointing up and the right right rectangle missing its color. This marking is used for a statue puzzle a short walk away from this cave. Continue around the corner to open a treasure chest. Head back around the ruins and if you have a bow, shoot the explosive barrels in the center of the area. This will break open a hole in the floor to allow you to drop down on the switch below. Once the switch is pressed the red forcefield will lower and a glowing frosty sparkle will fly east to the large open room. Within seconds a magical bridge will form out of sparkles for Rynn to cross and take the Hoarfrost Bow. Head straight back across and drop down the low hole ahead and exit the cave. Head back over the wooden bridge and go north, you will meet up with some more Grull at a skeleton statue with four skulls with there mouths open revealing buttons. The strange symbol on the stone block by the ruins that you found is part of the puzzle to what order you press the buttons. The dots represent which order you press and the large circle determines which button in respect to direction. Since you only have button number two continue north and then north east to locate another cave hidden on the cave wall under some trees. When you reach the large room you will have to dispose of three Grull, a Wartok, and a Grull Mage. In the treasure chest to the far west wall is an Invulnerability Potion. Smash the remaining barrels and crates, then leave the cave. Get to a clear area and hop on the back of Arokh. Fly to the east along the river and a cut scene will activate as you make it to the Ravenshold Fortress. Continue to the east along the river to find the dragon gate around the corner of the fortress. Head through the gate to Surdana to meet with General Dehrimon. ****************************************************************************** 2.17 - Kragmor ****************************************************************************** After he is done telling you where the second gate is jump off Arokh and talk to him again to open another Optional Quest. Now get back on Arokh and head in to town to stock back up on any items you feel you need to replenish as well as weapons and armor. If General Dehrimon is not standing right outside the gate upon arrival or you forget to talk to him for the quest, you can talk to him back at the palace in the large room by the left table. Once you are ready to go to Kragmor head to the south east corner of the map. On your way, you will be attacked by three anti-dragon cannons. Destroy them and proceed towards the cave. Kill the Wartoks before moving in and hop off Arokh to smash some barrels by the crates and open the chest behind the crate for gold. **************** *IMPORTANT NOTE* **************** It is very important that you take Arokh with you through this cave whenever you enter and exit it. Enter the cave and go through the small doorway making sure you bring Arokh with you. Save your game when the save screen comes up and walk through the rest of the cave. Right when you exit the cave you will see and be able to target a sleeping Blackwing Dragon. Kill the dragon and land on the nest to take the two Blackwing Eggs. Now get back on Arokh and kill the large Grull Kong and Grull on the ground. To the east is another Blackwing Dragon sleeping on the cliffside, go kill it and walk over to where it was sleeping for four eggs. They won't appear unless you walk over to the area without Arokh. Head south east and take out the red dragon. As you fly south, a campfire will be on the left along with two Wartok and a Grull. Smash the barrels and open the treasure chests for any items. Continue south and run down the path in between the stone pillars allowing them to glow. When you reach the end, two skeletons will raise from the ground and attack. Once the two are destroyed, two more will come. Destroy these two for two more. After the sixth skeleton dies, the pillar in the center will raise and lightning shall hit it revealing the Lightning Blade. Head north west past the dragon next and you will find another campsite sheltered by a hill on three sides. Kill the Grull and Wartok and then smash the barrels and take the Wood Shield on the ground. Fly south east to attack the remaining two Red Dragons flying around the mountains. At the last mountain in the middle of the area turn to the west wall and you will find a somewhat hidden Blackwing Dragon nest with a Blackwing Dragon resting in it. Kill the dragon and take the four Blackwing Dragon Eggs in the nest. Now continue south and take out the two anti-dragon guns as well as the Red Dragon. Now go towards the large open cave area and kill the Wartoks and Grull Kong. On the west side you will find three treasure chests. Barrels in the center outside of the open cave, and some barrels on the eastern side. You can also grab an Iron 2H Sword leaning against a crate in the short cave. Go to the west a bit to reach the middle of the open cave and head inside Snotmaw's Base. Kill the Wartok and smash the barrels for any treasure, then take the lift down. Head down the tunnel south hugging the right side of the wall as you move to avoid the fireballs. Go west, smash the barrels in the corner, and take the lift down. Now run along the broken path to the north as a Wartok throws fireballs at you. When you reach the tunnel turn to the west and run to the opening to the right of the tunnel to avoid the massive spinning blades behind Rynn. As soon as you enter this little alcove duck to avoid the spikes that will pierce through the walls. When the spinning blades passes you again, run out of the alcove and to the end of the tunnel. Kill the three Wartok fighters and the Wartok Mage, then continue through the tunnel to the west. Take the southern stairwell down to the Wartok's latrine area. Kill the two Wartok using the buckets, smash the barrels and take the Composite Battle Bow. Head back up the stairs and take the northern stairwell up, killing the Grull. Walk carefully through the tunnel avoiding the holes in the floor and head west down to a torture room. Kill the Wartok, open the treasure chests, and smash the barrels. Head back up the stairs and across the tunnel to the other side. When you go up the stairs you will enter a holding area. Kill the Wartok that is keeping everyone captive and get an Invulnerability Potion off it. Now open one cell and go to the opposite side of the room. The cieling will come down and most of the time crush the Grull that is locked inside. Head back to the down the stairs and take the stairs to the left to return to the original three stairwells. Now take the west stairwell to enter a really large cave room with a Grull Kong. Kill the Grull Kong and head through the little tunnel. Kill the Wartok and head down to the water. Wrap around west, south, and east to reach a part of land on this level. You will find a deceased villager with some gold, a Rusty Scimitar, and a Rusty Axe. Now head in to the water off to the left corner. Under the water you will find a circle of rocks encircling a hole leading deeper in to an underwater cavern. Swim in and follow the underwater tunnel around the rock bend. When you resurface you will find a cave with a skeleton holding a Long Rune Bow. Head back up to the normal level and turn west to take the path up to the bridge. Kill the Wartok and cross the bridge, then go east in to another room. You can now either enter this next room and fight the Grull Kong to the left. Once the Grull Kong is defeated Snotmaw will challenge you. You can either stay inside the locked area for him to come down and enter or you can wait by the door and quickly run out as he runs in. If you stay in the room to fight Snotmaw, back up a little bit as he runs in. Kill him and he will drop Snotmaw's Cleaver. Three Wartok will come down to attack you from upstairs, deal with them. Smash the barrels behind the lift then ride it up to the floor above. There will be three more Wartok up here for you to kill. Take the Hollowman leaning on the crates to the right and then take all the treasure in the chests. If you run out as he runs in smash the barrels by the lift and then hop on the lift. Kill the three Wartok waiting at the top and you will find a Hollowman next to the crates on the right. Then loot the treasure chests and kill the cheering crowd, they will not fight back. Drop in to or go down the lift and open the room where Snotmaw is to kill him and take Snotmaw's Cleaver. Go down to the ground floor with the fighting arena and head east. Kill the Wartok and head across the swinging platforms to the other side of the cave. Head north and kill the two Wartoks and go east to the lift. When you reach the top kill the two Wartok and smash the barrels. Exit out the gate, if you are wondering no you can not use this gate to sneak inside. Head to higher ground and call Arokh. Climb on his back and head north to leave Kragmor. Note that once you leave you can never return. ****************************************************************************** 2.18 - Surdana Again ****************************************************************************** Head in to town and stock up on more weapons and items and sell your Blackwing Dragon eggs to the Alchemist. Now head over to the Tavern and talk to the man sitting in the chair near the entrance to get the Inquisitor Quest if you did not already. Head over to Jade's Magic Emporium and talk to her to get a quest to kill a Necromancer named Khossa Vole. Buy some new powers and leave the tower. Go talk to General Dehrimon at the gate to complete the Snotmaw Quest. Head north east to see a waterfall just under the blacksmith shop. Land next to it and hop off Arokh's back to go inside and explore the Inquisitor's Lair. Go in to the large room at the other end of the tunnel and charge the Wartok Mage straight ahead. Take the treasure on the left and go down the ramp in the back to kill another Wartok. Continue down the spiral ramp and two Wartok Mages will come walking up, kill them both and move on. As you move down further a Wartok Mage and a Wartok Warrior will be coming up the path. After disposing of them look in the entrance to the west to kill another Wartok. Go inside and destroy the barrels, look north and kill the Wartok Mage and Wartok Warrior. As you approach the boulders on the left you will find two treasure chests and a Steel Club. Go forth and pull the lever on the edge to raise the bridge on Rynn's right. Head back out of this cave and head north again to go down. Kill the six Wartok as they come in groups of three. Enter the large room with the bridge you just opened for you to cross. Go to the right and kill the three Wartok inside the ruins. In the ruins you will also find some barrels, five treasure chests, and an Iron Hammer. Now go straight across to the west to the other ruins and kill the Wartok in them. Smash the barrels, open the treasure chests, and grab the Invulnerability Potion off the stone block in the center left. Now face the chasm to see a short stack of stones that Rynn can jump up on to. Once you get Rynn on the second block turn to face the bridge and perform a backflip on to the ledge behind her to get the Crown of Thorns. Now hop down carefully and go across the bridge and attack the two Wartok. Enter the doorway and go either to the left or right. Go up the stairs and enter the large room, use the ramp leading down to the floor of the room. The Inquisitor is talking to a prisoner but will start attacking you as soon as you get close enough. You will have to dodge his powers that he throws at you and attack him when you get the chance to. Talk to the prisoner and go across from him to open the treasure chests. Now head to the south end of this room to step on the teleporter to go to the entrance area. Head south to exit the cave and head back to the Tavern to claim your reward of 3000 Gold. Note that once you claim your reward you can't go back to explore this cave anymore. Go purchase new supplies if you need any and talk to Jade if you have not already about Khossa Vole. Have Rynn purchase any magic if you require it and head back out to Arokh. Fly north back to where the game began and head west where you saw the first Blackwing Dragon fly off to over the lake. As you turn around the bend Arokh will tell Rynn that there are Bone Dragons in the area. Watch out for the four Anti-Dragon Guns stationed ahead as well in a tight formation. Take them out from a distance and press on to fight some Bone Dragons. After the first Bone Dragon falls you should be entering a large area with a lake and three more Bone Dragons. Dispose of the three dragons and head to the island in the sky. Have Rynn enter the building and run up the ramp inside, saving the game when prompted to do so. Rynn will transport in to a new plane of existence known as the City of the Damned. Start out by heading west down the dirt path to enter some ruins. Two Axe welding skeletons will raise out of the ground to attack Rynn, send them back to the ground. Wrapping around the ruins will get you a barrel and two treasure chests full of gold as well as two more axe welding skeletons. Continue along the path and cross the bridge to fight more skeletons that raise from the ground. Enter the ruins to the left and smash the barrel behind the wall to get some treasure as well as searching the treasure chests. Continue down the path to kill one of them and jump the chasm to the lower half. Once you enter the ruins two more skeletons will raise as well as seeing Khossa Vole in the distance as he talks to Rynn. Open the two treasure chests and smash the barrel to the left on the ruins wall. Run towards Khossa Vole and as you cross the bridge he will send a lightning bolt down on it to destroy it. Have Rynn perform a running leap across to have her hang on the edge and climb up the other side. Attack all the skeletons that raise for some experience points towards Rynn's level. Follow the sorta lit trail until you see a cave. Turn back around and head to the trees in the northwest. Search the far right tree on the hill to get Lastat's Blade. Head back to the cave and either enter it or carefully climb to the top. If you climb to the top you can take out a bow if you have one or use magic and attack the floating body in the chasm. Otherwise head inside for Rynn to exclaim that she found Khossa Vole's human form. Run around the edge first to bring out the skeletons hidden in two corners and smash down the other corners to reveal hidden treasure. Now attack the floating body with a bow, a sword (get on the ledge next to the body), or use some magic. Khossa Vole's spirit body will smash down the back middle wall and start attacking by shooting green skulls. Try to dodge his attacks and kill the floating body. After the floating body is defeated the spirit body will become vulnerable to Rynn's attacks. Focus your attacks on the spirit body to finally defeat him. After Khossa Vole is defeated, enter the room he opened as he came to attack you. Inside grab the treasure and the Gravestone off the pedestal. Go in to the small room off to the side to teleport out of the City of the Damned and save your game. Once you get outside call Arokh and fly east to the glowing circle in the air for a new power to unlock, Sonic. Head back to Jade's to collect the reward. 2.7 Ravenshold Use the dragons gate to come back to Ravenshold. Now talk to Ranwulf again. He is in the lodge at the north of town. You will get two new quests. Take the plans to the wizard and talk to Tashvek in the town. First fly to the wizards tower. Walk up to the front door for a cut scene. You will get five new quests to do. Now return to Ravenshold, you can now access all the buildings. Enter the blacksmith shop, it is in front of Ranwulf's house. Talk to the man to get another quest to find his brothers journal. Then talk to Ranwulf. Now run to the house in between the wine house and the blacksmith shop. Talk to Tashvek. He will give you two new quests to do. Now fly over to the Grull's Camp. 2.8 Grull Camp Fly to the wizards tower and take a sharp left. There will be spike launchers and about five dragons. After you dispose of them search for the cave entrance. Go through the cave until you find a bunch of bottles on some crates. There is a vile of Pagan blood on it. Take it and leave the cave. Now look at your map and go to the Hunting Grounds in the southeast corner of the map. Two black wings will appear out of no where and attack you when you leave. 2.9 Daemog's Hunting Grounds After the second waterfall there is a river running under then mountain. Jump off of Arokh and wade through the river. Save after killing each scavenger. If you have it cast the magic spell of Time Slow. Then kill the BABY yeti. Then SAVE and move forward. Watch the cut scene and then kill Daemog the GIANT yeti. Cast Time Slow again so you don't have to dodge a lot and go and kill him. After it is dead, (This took me three tries, died both times by being picked up and smashed in the palm of his hand.) go into his cave. Be careful of the scavengers inside the cave that used to live with the yeti. Grab the journal and continue through for treasures and more scavengers. Continue on for a shortcut to the exit. Jump on your dragon and fly to Ravenshold. As you go back two more black wing dragons will attack you. Give the journal to the blacksmith and he will give you a key to the tomb and a torch. Now fly to the wizards tower and then go north and then east. 2.10 The Forgotten Tomb Look on the left side for some ruins and two iron knight statues. There will be a grull campsite and a locked door. Walk up to the door, equip the key and press L1. Now put the torch on the hot slot feature and enter. Equip it to see in the dark. KNOW THAT THE TORCH IS NOT A GOOD WEAPON, YOU MUST EQUIP THE SWORD TO KILL THE SKELETONS. Going left or right doesn't matter. Large spikes will be stabbing out of the walls. Then you will make a turn going inward to form a square with the other passage. When you reach the intersection turn in so you enter the middle of the square. Kill the skeletons in the room and take the goblet. Then go across the hall and down some stairs at the end of the hallway. Go into the abandoned room and take the item on the stand. Then roll under the door on the right side. The lever does not work, continue down the stairs. Pass the passage on the right and continue forward. The first left is to another tunnel like the one you are in. On the second right there is an item called the Fangs Amulet. When you take it the coffin in front of you will open. Go through the hole in the wall and take the Horn Amulet. Then go back to the hallway. Then go to the right and pass by the stairs. Turn the corner and take the first right. Kill the skeletons and grab the Talons amulet. Leave into the hallway and turn right, and go right. Take the wing amulet. Now go back into the hallway and go down the stairs you ignored. Kill the skeletons and push L1 on all four of the holders. Drop down the newly created hole. Kill the skeletons and take the ashes. Then go up the stairs to come through a hidden passage. Take a right then a left and go up the stairs. Then go to the other way you didn't come from on the decision of your first right to left. This will allow you to walk through with the spikes not activated. Exit the cave and climb on Arokh. You can sell the torch back to the blacksmith because you won't need it. After you buy what you want it is time to go to the North lands. Fly to the Green dot on your map. Enter the cave WITH THE DRAGON!!!! IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO OR YOU WILL LOSE HIM FOREVER!!!!! 2.11 Northern Tundra Right when you exit two black wing dragons will attack you. Fly to the Northmen's camp, it in the middle of the map of the part that is still on the left side. You will see a smoke stack. Land by the camp and enter the cave. Talk to the man standing by the wine keg. He will give you a quest. Then talk to the man sitting at the table. He wants you to kill the invisible wartock and bring back the magic gauntlets. Now go up the ramp and talk to the shopkeeper to repair your gear. SAVE and go outside. Climb on Arokh and fly to the Bartok caves. You can see a bartok vanish when you go after him. 2.12 Bartok Cave Enter either cave. When you reach the first big open room run to the far right to stay out of the way of the explosion the two wartoks' on top of the cave cause. Continue through the cave. Go around the wall and up the ramp, kill all the bartok that come at you. One of them will be the invisible bartok. He will attack and then vanish. You will reach a room with a large hole in it. You could find a side with sort of a steep ramp and slide down it, this will hurt you a little, which might still kill you if you screw up. Or you could walk around it and go down the path. You will then have a visit from the vanishing bartok again. Continue onward. You will then enter a room lit by lava. Go around the wall. You must then jump across from pedestal to pedestal while avoiding the lava balls. Continue going down through the tunnel. The invisible bartok is standing at the ruins pass-through. Go and beat on him. After he disappears kill the other two bartok and then some scavengers start to attack. Kill them as well. You will then see the a scavenger and a bartok fighting either kill them or just run by. If you stay a bunch of scavengers will come running out of the cave. Continue down the cave. When you reach some ruins the invisible bartok is standing behind them. Enter the doorway to look at there prison. Kill the wartoks in here and take the treasure. Continue onward to where there is one Bartok at the end of a long room. This one is the invisible bartok, kill him and take the gauntlets. Then raid the treasure bins and leave. Go back to the camp and give the gauntlets to the man sitting at the table. He will regrettably give you his golden blade. Now you should explore the map some and kill as many enemies as possible. Then fly over to the ice caves. 2.13 Ice Caves They are on the map if you talked to the man standing next to the wine kegs in the camp cave. Now enter the cave and collect the treasure before you enter. SAVE your game and step on the teleporter. Straight ahead of you to the left is the dead body of that man's friend. Take his gold since he won't want it anymore. In this area there are things known as Ice Golems. They fire deadly lasers at you from great distances. Kill them as you move forward. Go to the right and through the forest. after you go through the large open cave tunnel you will go into another forest filled with more golems. Kill them using the trees as cover. Continue forward. When you go in between the two mountains and come out at another forest there are more golems along with the scavengers. Take the treasure from inside the ruins and climb the side of the mountain. Go over to the right killing three more golems and reach some ruins by going right and then left. Take the treasure inside it and go back around going right and right again to get down the other side safely. Then kill the six golems that are down here. Continue on by running up the hill to find more golems. Kill all nine of them and continue to the eye statue. Walk up the ramp and take the pupil part. This is the final piece. Now head back a ways and to the right to go down further. Inside the ruins is a teleporter and treasure. Step on the transporter and mount your dragon. Now return to the camp so you can repair your equipment. Now return to Ravenshold to give the wizard your four items. Fly over to his tower to see a cut scene. You must fight the Half men so Arokh can bring the wizard. You will then be put in the middle of a fight, kill them all. Watch the cut scene and mount Arokh. Go into the cave. SAVE when it prompts you and go into a larger snow covered area. 2.14 Shiverbane This is home to the Half men. Exit the cave and kill the two new dragons and the Half men. There is a tent a few seconds north of the entrance. Inside is some treasure. As you fly through there are giant laser canons shooting spiraling ice. Destroy these along with the Half men and dragons flying about.Keep going north. When you reach the gate a giant yeti comes out. Kill it using Arokhs powers. Walk through the gate with your dragon and kill the Half men as you go. At the end the door is closed with a hole just big enough for Rynn to fit in. Go through it and continue into the Half men base. Run forward and kill the two Half men while dodging arrows coming from all sides. Go along the path to find a hanging skeleton with two doors, one on either side. Go left and up the ramp. This will take you outside, go to the right and into the next cave. Go around the bends and see a cut scene. Then fight Indja and Yedeen. Kill them and then take the lift down a floor. Go through the cave down here after taking the treasure. Then take the treasure in this room along with the skull crusher. Go back up the lift and through the caves to the hanging skeleton. Go straight across to the next cave. At the fork take a left. Kill the Half men inside the torture room and take all the treasures. Then go back to the intersection and turn left. Go along the right edge of the cliff and cross the bridge. Kill the scavengers and take the gold in the cave. Then continue along the left side of the cliff to reach the bottom. The wooden lookout is just a waste of time so go past it unless there is an enemy on it. Walk through the ruins taking the treasure and continuing along the path. After that there is a watch tower with a blue light coming from it. Circle around the hill next to you when you first saw this tower and go up the ramp and find another ramp leading down into a cave with ruins. Take the treasures and leave. Enter the cave up on the higher level closer to the ruins that you made it to before seeing the watch tower. Take the weapons and treasures in here. Now go across the two bridges and enter the cave to the right. Kill the two Half men and go right. Collect the treasure and go back the other way. After going down and around the bend walk across the ruins. You will then fall into a trap and watch a cut scene. You will then appear in a prison cell. To escape kill the guard with a magic spell like Lightning Bolt. When you kill him the key will slide through the door. Take it and open the exit. On the left side of the wall straight ahead of you is another key. It is hanging on the wall. Take it then turn 180 degrees and walk to the opposite wall to take two more keys. Open the doors, I found that only one cell has a useful item in it. Go up the stairs and run straight across avoiding the Half men. The gates will close everywhere. Then the gates on the sides will open releasing two scavengers. Run into each room they came out of and pull the lever to raise the gates. Then continue onward through the cave passing by all the enemies. Run up the ramp and turn left. Run through the big room and up another ramp. After the room with a bunch of crates you will find your weapons set in a circle in the next room. Take them and start killing the Half men. Take the lift up to the upper levels and continue down the path. Go up the stairs and go outside. Watch the cut scene and fight Maulgak. Walk to the next dragon gate and watch the cut scene. Now run down the path to the right. Continue until you find a guard tower with a bridge going to a lever. Pull it to allow your dragon to come inside. Get to a place the dragon can land and call him. Now fly over the arena that you fought Maulgak to gain a new dragon power. Then go to the gate. After you open it fly in. 2.15 Surdana Once Again Repair and buy new items at the blacksmith shop. Now do some more Optional Quests if you want to. Then go to the lift in town and take it up to the castle. When you enter the second set of doors there will be a cut scene. You must now figure out how the assassins got into the castle. Go into the right door if you are facing Myschala. Then turn left and enter the little library. The bookcase in the back will open revealing a hidden passage. At this point you should have flipped the three switches in town under the optional quest for FLIP THOSE SWITCHES!!!! and when you the first cellar room with barrels attack the indented wall in the corner. Flip the switch that is deep inside. This opens a door in the opposite wing of the castle for a lot of gold. Continue through the tunnels until you find a teleporter. Now go back to the general to report your findings. Watch the cut scene. Now you will have to fight the traitor. I won't say who it is, yet it was very obvious. Kill the person just like you did with the desert lords. Now go to the other wing of the building to get at the treasure. That is if you flipped all the switches. Now complete all the Optional quests in town and buy all the items and spells you will need. Then fly to the new dot at the lower left of your map to the Valley of the Fallen. 2.16 Valley of the Fallen You will have to kill two red dragons and continue on to the gate. It will be over run by the enemy. Kill them all and destroy there catapults. Walk into the gate with your dragon. SAVE the game and watch the cut scene. Fly through the mountains and reach the small farm houses. Watch the cut scene and kill the bone dragons that attack. The townspeople will give you two locations and two quests. Now let's go to the third gate. Go southeast of the farm and wrap around the mountain going west. Kill all the dragons and catapults that stand in your way and open the gate. Now go back to the farm and re-equip. Then go to the Bartok Base. The cave is behind the dragon gate on the ground. 2.17 Bartok Base Go inside and kill the bartok. Take the key that is lying on the table near the lift. This allows you into the Bartok Base. You can either go up the floors and take the remaining treasure and experience or just leave the cave. Now go through the Dragon Gate to see a cut scene. At the Blacksmith he is now selling the games best armor, shield, and bow. Buy up and go back through the portal. Now fly to the river just to the left. You will find an alcove with a cave that goes through with water leading up it. Go in by foot and kill the bartok. Then go to the locked door and enter it. Take the path that leads down to the left. Kill all wartoks in sight. In the big room wrap around to the left to continue after you kill the three wartoks just standing there. When you reach some crates that are off to the right jump on them to get down safely. Kill the Grull that are under the cliff and continue. Climb the hill and enter the tunnel to continue forward. Take the lift to the up to the next floor. When you go near the tunnel run backwards away from the gunpowder barrels to avoid the bartok trap. Then kill the attacking wartoks. Go to through the tunnel on the right and climb the boxes. Then jump across and pull yourself onto the ledge. The door on the side is locked so continue to the two standing wartoks. Go into the next room where Rynn says that it looks like someone is up there. Look up to see a cage suspended in the air. You will also see a stack of boxes as you go up the ramp. Climb these by doing back flips, then get onto the ledge. If you have been reading the side quests and got the three stones then this is the place to place one of the three. Then climb back down and kill the bartok guarding the lever. Go behind here and to the table. Take the prison key and pull the lever. DO NOT STAND UNDER THE CAGE, IT WILL KILL YOU. It's Perry. He will give you a key. Now you must take him home. Walk to the locked door. Open the gate at the end to go outside. You can't have both of you ride the dragon so you must make it on foot. Cross the bridge to the right. Go to the red flag and turn right. Enter the cave. Run through the cave killing the wartoks, Grulls, and scavengers. Then exit the other side. Then kill the three scavengers and enter the cave to your left. Make sure the kid is still following you. Now exit the cave cross the bridge and run on to his home. Talk to his father for a reward. 2.18 Lower Ruins Fly back to the third Dragon Gate. Above the cave that you got the first key to open the base is a lower mountain. Fly over this to reach the desert area. After disposing of the bone dragons fly forward. The ruins you first come to is the place where you will pick up your Fire blade, after you place the last stone. Now continue onward. When you reach the big ruins it will go into a cut scene and the traitor will wake up two dragons. Kill them both to continue. Fly above the ruins to get Arokh's final breath spell. Now go to the small door on the left of the main doors since you can't just walk inside. Use the key and step on the teleporter. Kill the skeletons and check the barrels. Then go down the stairs. Kill some more skeletons. The music will then stop and you can here the sound of scraping metal. The door up the next set of stairs has moved. Go up them. The doors will then close and some dead assassins will attack you. You can kill them by grabbing the bow by the boxes and jumping up on the highest one. Then start sniping. Then step on the teleporter. Walk around the path killing the skeletons. Do not fall off. Enter the tunnels. A wall will open on straight ahead of you. Go in and kill the skeletons. Pull the lever inside and return to the hallway. A new passage opens. Go inside, Kill more skeletons. Walk into the big room and kill the skeletons. Then part of the floor will fall and three doors will open. The doors on the sides give you a sword and a bow. Continue forward. Go down the stairs and around the tunnels. A door will close behind you trapping you inside with a bunch of coffins. Kill the skeletons and a gate will raise on the left wall. Pull the lever. This opens the gate straight ahead. Go in and you will come out at a graveyard. The door will close behind you, kill the skeletons. Go to the right side of the graveyard to place one of the three stones in the right place. This should be the last one. Now continue through this "dungeon". A large structure should have risen by now allowing you to walk up the stairs. Watch the cut scene. Then fight Gothraul. Kill him and take the key next to his chair. Now start heading back to the entrance. In the large coffin room a door will open to your left. Go in and take the treasure, teleport out of there. Now go to the door on the right and place the key in the circle. Go up the stairs. 2.19 Upper Ruins Go to the left and take the treasures, also from going straight. Then go into the large room to the right. There are assassins in here. Kill them. Head up the stairs for some items and then back to the middle to continue. Jump down the hole and walk towards the block. Push the block to the pillar in the center left position. Use it to climb up. Go across the bridge and turn right, there are some blocks that act as stairs. Use them. Then back flip up onto the next floor. Go up the ramp and into the doorway. In the second alcove on the left there is a statue of Gothraul take the key from it and QUICKLY turn around. Some assassins come to kill you again. Then go up the two stair cases and jump the cracks in the floor. Quickly run up the hall and kill the archer. You will then be on the other side of the lasers in the main entrance. You must now deactivate them. Head past the door on your right and turn down the next right. Take the lift down. Kill the assassins. Take the key from the statue on the left. Now ride the lift back up to the previous floor. Push the available block into the path of the laser so you can roll under it. There are doors on both sides, use your keys to open bothe of them and pull the levers. Some more assassins will run through the back door, so kill them. Then go out the door towards the desert. Now is the final time to do any Side Quest. Do them now. If you got the three stones in the pillars then go get the Fire Blade. Take it with you to Sardana and pick up the other three blades. Go to the blacksmith and you will enable the ability to purchase the ULTIMATE WEAPON. After you do all that you want to in this part of the game, walk Arokh through the tunnel in the desert. YOU WILL NEVER COME BACK. After you have completed all of your business go back to this tunnel. TAKE YOUR DRAGON YOU WILL LOSE HIM OTHERWISE. Now Go through the newly opened way. 2.20 The Tunnel Enter the large area and kill the griffins in the room. Go down to the ledge on the left side of where you came in. You must get off of Arokh to go in. Kill the assassins and go through the hallways. At the end is a lever. Pull it to open a door. Go through the now open door on the left and go down the lift. Take the key off the pedestal and kill the assassins. Take the lift back up and unlock the door straight ahead. Run through these halls to get to a huge pit. JUMP across to the sparkling part. Be careful not to fall. Keep your eye on the sparkles so you don't fall into a hole. Now go up the stairs. Go down the hall on the left, turn right and watch the cut scene. Kill the traitor and continue through the cave. Pull the lever by the iron door to allow your dragon inside. Watch the cut scene. SAVE when prompted. 2.21 Stratos Kill the enemy that comes to kill you. Go to the place called Ferry, its on your map. Land by the building and go in the front foyer. Talk to the man. Then fly to the place called Grotus' Lair. Land and enter the iron door. Run down the ramp and turn around to see the iron door open to release two assassins. Kill them then continue down the ramp. When you reach the closed door kill the four armed man that appears. Enter the door and turn right. Go down the stairs and turn left. Every time you kill a Floating Demon one door will open. Eventually you will open the one to proceed. Go through it. On the left path there is the POTION that you need and some items. On the other side there are some more items. You will hear laughter every time you go into the sides for items. Then head back to the door. Kill the boss and head to the teleporter. Go into the building to watch a cut scene. Step on the lift and descend a floor. Step on the next lift to go even further. There is a lady on the lounge chair, go down the hall away from her. Enter the room full of ladies and talk to the one with the mask on, then go back to the door and it will open. Kill the enemy on the other side and Go through the door that has just opened straight across from the women's quarters. Go to the left at the fork to see the ferry pull into the chasm. Now go to the other side of the fork and continue on. Go down the stairs to the left, and turn right. Kill the assassins to reach a door. It will open as you approach just in time to see the ship leave. Run around the cliff and enter the door on this side. Run down the stairs and watch the cut scene. Then walk forward and watch another cut scene. Then run back to where you last saw the ship and get on it by walking across the path lined only by the falling petals. Watch the cut scene and step off the ship. Then kill the two floating enemies. Step on the teleporter in the back of the room. Then run to the center of the platform. Watch the cut scene then the Flesh Mage will attack you. You can't hurt him so run around to the open door on the right side. The door will close and you must kill the golem walking towards you. Turn right and enter the next room. Kill the golems inside here. Then step on the sort of switch like floors to open the red shield like doors. Then either fire an arrow or your magic at the red orb floating in each door to keep it open. Flip the levers, there is a total of four. The exit will then be opened. Go through and run down the halls fighting your way to the door. This will bring you to the altar again. Now run to the door on the left side. Kill the enemies as you go through. Then when you reach the large open room run forward and to the right to find the door. A golem will break it open and you can either kill him or run to the urn and break it to activate the lift. Go through the scavenger infested tunnel and grab the sword near the end. Then turn left to exit the tunnel and enter a large room. Run straight across to go up a dirt ramp. Then you will enter a room full of vases and skeletons. Wreck the whole room and go up the stairs. Out off to the left is the best armor and shield in the game, placed on a dead warrior. Take it if you never bought it. Now flip the switch and shoot the chandelier. Watch the cut scene and then shoot the flying urn. After you destroy it watch the cut scene. Take the Golem Staff and go back down the stairs. Then step on the teleporter. Walk forward and watch the cut scene. Then fight the boss. After you defeat him, there is another cut scene. Then use your dragon to target the golem. Then push L2 to target Jasaad. Then swoop in close to the golem so it swings its arm. When it is reaching for you shoot Jasaad. Continue the battle this way until he is defeated. You have now completed DRAKAN. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 3. He will ask if you can go into his house and kill all the huge spiders for a reward. Enter the house and jump over to the other side of the bed. Open the chest for any treasure. Go to the east wall and open the chest here for any treasure as well. Now turn to the north and go down into the cellar. When you reach the first room, you will have one large spider to deal with. Take it out and smash the four barrels found in this room. Go down the east tunnel and turn left to go down the stairs. You will encounter three oversized spiders in this room. Open the chest in the northeast corner for treasure, then go to the middle of the east wall and hit it three times to make the wall fall down. Pull the lever and head up the north stairs. Look out for the spider that is wandering around this hallway, it will be coming from the left. Kill it off and then continue down the tunnel. Turn to the north and enter the spider infested room. If you didn't kill the spider wandering the hall, there is a good chance it is in this room along with two others. Kill them and smash the nine barrels and two crates for any treasure. You will also find a Wood Club lying on the back side of the crates. Head back into the hallway and turn to the right to find some stairs. Once you reach the top you will enter another room with the last three spiders. Kill them off and Rynn will comment on how that seems to be the last of them. Open the chest on the east wall and smash the twelve barrels for treasure. Continue south to reach the first cellar room again, then run up the stairs into the house. If you pulled the lever behind the secret wall, you can now access the door on the left side of the bed. Enter the door and pull the lever found inside. Leave the house and talk to the scared man for your reward, 250 gold. ****************************************************************************** 3.012 - Rescue the farmer's wife ****************************************************************************** Requirements - Be in Surdana at anytime Reward - 300 Gold Go to the second house outside the town gate past the Shadowmire entrance and talk to the farmer working on his yard. Head back south and turn to the west. Head north at the first turn, then go east when you reach the wall. You will come to Mushroom Cave, enter with caution. Around the first bend you will find your first Scavenger that you can kill. Start swinging as you run towards it so it doesn't have a chance to swing back with its claws. Now go east into the large room and kill the two scavengers off to the left. Turn south and head down the path to the bottom of the cave. On the north side of the middle island you will find a skeleton with a Potion of Life next to it. Head northeast to the green glowing mushrooms and grab the Bitter Touch sword behind it. Head back south and up the ramp. Go north and into the next tunnel. Wrap around to the left, then go east down the ramp. As you come around the corner on the bottom of the large room, three scavengers will be sitting in a small cave to your left and a fourth will be coming around the corner to the right of the small cave entrance; dispose of them. Inside the cave you will find a bag of gold. Exit the small cave and head west towards the pillars. Kill the scavenger on the left and the one that comes from the north down the slope. Go into the middle of the pillars and open the chests for treasure. Take the Steel Club off the pedestal in the center, then head north up the path. As you make your way around the top edge, three scavengers will come after you from the path ahead. Head around the other side of the first large room and enter another tunnel. Kill the Scavanger off to the left and take the treasure by the skeleton. Kill the Scavanger that comes from further up the tunnel and continue north. Start heading up the ramp to the east and kill the two Scavangers found on the path above. Run up the spiral and go south. At the intersection turn left to find the missing woman. Walk west to the white rock and push into the large boulder. Walk out into the grass to allow the woman to come out activating a cut scene. Run along with her back to her house and talk to the farmer again. He will give you an award for 300 gold for finding her. ****************************************************************************** 3.013 - Toadfist's Helm ****************************************************************************** Requirements - Talk to Brekk the Blacksmith before entering the Shadowmire Reward - 2000 Gold Go talk to Brekk the Blacksmith before you enter the Shadowmire and he will ask if you can get him Toadfist's famous helm. Now enter the Shadowmire and go through it, collecting the Cypher Rune. Once you have the Rune go through the tunnel and eventually you will see a hole in a cave room over looking the throne room below. Head to the left and take the lift down to the throne room. Watch the cut scene and battle Toadfist for the helmet. Stay close but not in arms reach to him, otherwise he will throw magical projectile balls at you. When his hands glow move away a little more to let him start spinning around, when he finishes spinning he will become dizzy. Perform a spin attack to knock him off his feet, then slash at him. Once you kill him go back up the lift and finish the Shadowmire. Exit the tunnel and go into town and talk to Brekk again to hand the helm over to him. ****************************************************************************** 3.014 - Find the Missing Girl ****************************************************************************** Requirements - Talk to the man standing by the first bridge in the Shadowmire Reward - Diamond and Life Potion As you are starting out to explore the Shadowmire for the Cypher Rune, you will come up to a man standing by a fence near the first bridge. He will ask if you can search for his daughter. Now proceed through the Shadowmire and eventually you will find her in a cut scene about to be burned and made into a Trog meal. Kill the three Trogs then proceed on with the Shadowmire. When you finally make it out of the final cave and cross back over the bridge, talk to the father for your reward. ****************************************************************************** 3.015 - Earth Blade ****************************************************************************** Requirements - Talk to Nichols the Bold in the certain places Reward - Earth Blade While running through the Shadowmire you will come to a large bonfire with a man standing behind it near some ruins, talk to him to activate his next spot. When you reach the Great Hall in the underground ruins after the underground reservoir area, go down the middle stairs to the jail area. Open the cells with the lever on the left and talk to Nichols in the left cell to activate his next spot. After falling through the weak bridge you will find Nichols hanging upside down getting shocked by the Trog Mages. Kill the four Trog Mages and talk to Nichols, he will give you a book. Now head northwest and stand on the circular stone to activate a cut scene. Head inside and grab the blade off the pedestal making the door behind you seal shut. Kill the four skeletons and you will be free to leave. ****************************************************************************** 3.016 - Investigate the evil at the Brotherhood of the Eternal Word ****************************************************************************** Requirements - Have the ability to reach the southeastern portion of Surdana Reward - 1000 gold Take Arokh and head to the middle of the southern most area in Surdana to reach the monastery for the Brotherhood of the Eternal Word. Enter the monastery and talk to the monk behind the table to the east in the first room. Now enter the next room by heading west and talk to the monk by the empty bookcase. Head down into the crypt and save your game when it asks you to. Head down the set of steps next to the locked gate and head south. Turn left at the first chance and watch a skeleton come out of the coffin. Kill it and continue down the tunnel south. An iron club lays in the corner ahead. Continue through the tunnel, walk up to the gate and turn around. Walk back towards the way you came and the wall on Rynn's left will smash open revealing another skeleton. Enter the newly opened path and down the stairs. Head north, when you reach the left turn a skeleton will come out of a coffin while another one busts down the wall on the right side. Kill them both, then enter the right hole and open the treasure chest inside. Continue north and turn left at the next intersection to fight another skeleton. Head east down the stairs. As you reach the bottom of the stairs a gust of wind will blow out all the torches in the area. The wall on the left will break open revealing a skeleton and a half mana. Go around the next corenr to fight another wandering skeleton. As you head south, look to the left for another skeleton, to the right is another half mana. Continue on and pull the lever on the right. Immediatly turn around and fight the skeleton that busts through the wall behind Rynn. Go in the hole to open the chest. Go up the stairs and walk through the hole that opens, turn left and go through the now opened gate. Turn to the right and walk over to the coffins to activate the two skeletons inside them. After you fight them, head over to the opposite side and activate the last two coffins and kill the skeletons. Now is a good time to save your game. Head down the middle of the steps to watch the other side start to raise. Jump right in the center to have her grab on to the ledge, pull Rynn up on the other side and head down into the doorway. A skeleton will bust through a hole on the left side. Kill him and go to the right side to smash the wall open yourself. Open the two chests on the other side and take the Steel Mace. Head south down the long tunnel, when you reach the stairs turn to the right. A skeleton will bust out of the wall revealing a treasure chest. Head up the stairs into a large room with flame pillars. As you make your way around the room, the doors will get closed off and the pillars of fire will extinguish. Skeletons will raise from the ground and attack you, take them all out to open the southern door. Open the chests on both sides of the door before you leave the room. On your way to the next room another skeleton will bust through the wall on the left. In the next room, a skeleton will raise out of its coffin everytime you kill one of them. Exit to the west and the next rooms floor will break apart. Save your game and hop down to the floor below. Go to the southern edge and hop to the next piece of flooring. Then go north and climb up the broken pieces to enter the western door. Fight the two skeletons in this room and head west into the next room. Open the chests and smash the barrels, take the Iron Club off the ground and go back to the previous room. Head north to face a tall flame sword welding skeleton that wants to teach Rynn a lesson. If you turn to the south you will see two doors next to the corners, kill the skeletons inside them and go in the right one. The large skeleton will have a hard time following you inside either one of them. Smash the barrels and open the chests, then head back out into the large room to face the skeleton. Come back into one of these areas to get a little extra time to heal yourself or to cast a spell. When you finally kill the large skeleton, pick up his flaming sword to recieve the Flamestrike. Now enter the northern passage and step onto the teleporter to appear at the start of the catacombs. Head straight up the stairs and save your game to return to the surface. Talk to the monk behind the table in the first book room to recieve 1,000 gold for your help. ****************************************************************************** 3.017 - Blackwing Eggs ****************************************************************************** Requirements - Have Arokh Reward - 50 gold per egg (?) Enter the town in Surdana and talk to the Alchemist in his tower to activate this quest. Now you will have to search all over the world of Drakan for the eggs and take them to the Alchemist. Surdana: Hop on Arokh and head to the southeast corner along the mountains. A Blackwing Dragon will be resting in a nest, kill it then land next to the nest and collect the three Blackwing Eggs. Kragmor: As you exit the cave in to the open Kragmor area you will see a Blackwing Dragon straight ahead sleeping on the mountainside. Go over to it and take it down, then land where it was resting to grab the two eggs in the nest. To the east from the previous Blackwing Dragon you will see another Blackwing Dragon. Kill this dragon and walk over to the spot it was sleeping without riding on the back of Arokh so they appear, you will not find the eggs in a nest. At the last mountain in the middle of the area turn to the west wall and you will find a somewhat hidden Blackwing Dragon nest with a Blackwing Dragon resting in it. Kill the dragon and take the four Blackwing Dragon Eggs in the nest. So far I found a total of thirteen Blackwing Dragon Eggs. I do not think I found all the nests and got tired of looking. If you find more Eggs than the ones I have listed, please EMAIL me at brokaliv@yahoo.com I was told that this side quest is also always going to be open and can supposedly never be finished. ****************************************************************************** 3.018 - Giant Chicken ****************************************************************************** Requirements - Have the ability to reach the southeastern portion of Surdana Reward - 1000 gold Jump on Arokhs back and go towards the southeast corner. Just before entering the corner area with the Anti-Dragon weaponry land on the lower piece of land to the left of the wooden bridge. Enter the cave and fight the giant chicken on the other side. The chicken will then drop a golden egg. ****************************************************************************** 3.019 - Destroy the Catapults ****************************************************************************** Requirements - Enter the Andrellian Isles Reward - 88 Gold When you arrive in the Andrellian Isles, a sailor will ask you to destroy the catapults on the opposite shore. Fly straight across the river and destroy all the catapults over here. Now return to the sailor and talk to him for your reward. ****************************************************************************** 3.020 - Recover Captain Fandrill's Charts ****************************************************************************** Requirements - Enter the Andrellian Isles, talk to the captain aboard the ship Reward - 486 Gold When you reach the Andrellian Isles, go to the ship and talk to the captain. Now head north and look at your map. Off to the left side is a large island with the Crystal Mines in it. Look northeast of it and you will see a smaller mountainous island. Directly east of this island is an inlet with a cave on its shores that you want to enter. Have Rynn walk northeast to the bonfire and enter the cave. You will enter a large room with lava down below. Turn east and fight the Grull and Wartok that come after you. Head to the east and grab the Wood Long Bow off the crate. Go south into another large room. If you look on the west wall you can see a path that leads down to the lava and around some rocks to a treasure chest holding an Invulnerability Potion. Head back up the path and jump the chasm to the south making it onto an upper ledge. Kill the Grull up here, then hop onto the next ledge going south. Get on top of the crates and jump up one more ledge. Kill the Grull and Wartok, then open the treasure chest to the right of the door and the two chests on the east side. Enter the doorway and turn west, kill the Wartok on the other side. Carefully cross the lava by using the wooden plank on the ground and take the Steel Great Sword off the stone. Continue to hop across the stones floating in the lava and make it to land once again, killing the Grull. Head west into another room, go around to the right, killing the Wartok and Grull. At the eastern ruins is a treasure chest with a Potion of Invisibility. Grab it and head along the path, you will see a Wartok standing by a pedestal holding the captains charts. Take them and continue out of the caves. You can return them to the captain now if you want, then head back north. He will give you a bag of gold worth 486 gold. ****************************************************************************** 3.021 - Clineschmidt's Blade ****************************************************************************** Requirements - Access to Ravenshold, Northern Tundra, and Shiverbane Reward - In order to get inside the locked gate behind the skeleton statue in Ravenshold you will have to locate eight stones with the combination of switches you will have to go for. On your way from the Trading Post to the north, enter the cave on the right just before the wooden bridge. As you head in to the large southern room, you will have to fight a few Grull along with a Mage Grull off to the right of the room. Head through the south eastern door to smash some barrels and open a treasure chest. Now head down the the right bend. Kill the Grull and Wartok that get in Rynn's way. When you go by the red forcefield do not touch it or else you will die in one hit. Continue south and take the path around the left. Kill the Wartok and Grull Mage, then smash some more barrels. Head around the path and kill one last Wartok off to the side. When you reach the ruins, head all the way to the west wall and turn south. You will notice a block on the ground with a strange marking of eight dots and two colored in on the left side while there is a larger circle with an arrow pointing up and the right right rectangle missing its color. This marking is switch number 2. Exit the cave. Just across the bridge from the last cave is a statue, walk up to it. This statue has four buttons on it serving as a puzzle. To figure out the puzzle on your own you must fly around the land and find statues with the same markings as the other one to figure out the order. Or just CHEAT and read this. The order is S,E,E,W,S,N,N,S. To figure out which switch is north look at the switches, when the compass arrow is facing down then that switch is the north one. If done correctly the gate behind the statue will rise allowing you to enter. Save your game and jump into the water. Quickly swim to the bottom and search through the underwater cave. The hole on the first right is just the exit when you get the weapon, so just get some air and go left. The next hole leads you to the weapon, walk into the ankle deep water to the red circle path, open the chest and take the sword, you will then be attacked by some skeletons. Kill them all and the defenses will drop. Now leave the cave. ****************************************************************************** 3.022 - Lightning Blade ****************************************************************************** Requirements - Access to Kragmor by talking to General Dehrimon when you come through the portal to Surdana from Ravenshold Reward - Lightning Blade Head to the south east corner of Kragmor to find a stone henge like area. Run down the path in between the stone pillars allowing them to glow. When you reach the end, two skeletons will raise from the ground and attack. Once the two are destroyed, two more will come. Destroy these two for two more. After the sixth skeleton dies, the pillar in the center will raise and lightning shall hit it revealing the Lightning Blade. ****************************************************************************** 3.023 - Find and Kill the Inquisitor ****************************************************************************** Requirements - Be in Surdana Reward - 3000 Gold Enter the Tavern and talk to the man sitting near the instrumentalist by the wall to start the Optional Quest. Head down past the Shadowmire gate and use the river to go out to the lake in front of Jade's Magic Emporium. Swim over to the waterfall and enter the cave underneath the Blacksmith's shop. Go in to the large room at the other end of the tunnel and charge the Wartok Mage straight ahead. Take the treasure on the left and go down the ramp in the back to kill another Wartok. Continue down the spiral ramp and two Wartok Mages will come walking up, kill them both and move on. As you move down further a Wartok Mage and a Wartok Warrior will be coming up the path. After disposing of them look in the entrance to the west to kill another Wartok. Go inside and destroy the barrels, look north and kill the Wartok Mage and Wartok Warrior. As you approach the boulders on the left you will find two treasure chests and a Steel Club. Go forth and pull the lever on the edge to raise the bridge on Rynn's right. Head back out of this cave and head north again to go down. Kill the six Wartok as they come in groups of three. Enter the large room with the bridge you just opened for you to cross. Go to the right and kill the three Wartok inside the ruins. In the ruins you will also find some barrels, five treasure chests, and an Iron Hammer. Now go straight across to the west to the other ruins and kill the Wartok in them. Smash the barrels, open the treasure chests, and grab the Invulnerability Potion off the stone block in the center left. Now face the chasm to see a short stack of stones that Rynn can jump up on to. Once you get Rynn on the second block turn to face the bridge and perform a backflip on to the ledge behind her to get the Crown of Thorns. Now hop down carefully and go across the bridge and attack the two Wartok. Enter the doorway and go either to the left or right. Go up the stairs and enter the large room, use the ramp leading down to the floor of the room. The Inquisitor is talking to a prisoner but will start attacking you as soon as you get close enough. You will have to dodge his powers that he throws at you and attack him when you get the chance to. Talk to the prisoner and go across from him to open the treasure chests. Now head to the south end of this room to step on the teleporter to go to the entrance area. Head south to exit the cave and head back to the Tavern to claim your reward. Note that once you claim your reward you can't go back to explore this cave anymore. ****************************************************************************** 3.024 - Kill Khossa Vole and return the Gravestone to Jade ****************************************************************************** Go purchase new supplies if you need any and talk to Jade if you have not already about Khossa Vole. Have Rynn purchase any magic if you require it and head back out to Arokh. Fly north back to where the game began and head west where you saw the first Blackwing Dragon fly off to over the lake. As you turn around the bend Arokh will tell Rynn that there are Bone Dragons in the area. Watch out for the four Anti-Dragon Guns stationed ahead as well in a tight formation. Take them out from a distance and press on to fight some Bone Dragons. After the first Bone Dragon falls you should be entering a large area with a lake and three more Bone Dragons. Dispose of the three dragons and head to the island in the sky. Have Rynn enter the building and run up the ramp inside, saving the game when prompted to do so. Rynn will transport in to a new plane of existence known as the City of the Damned. Start out by heading west down the dirt path to enter some ruins. Two Axe welding skeletons will raise out of the ground to attack Rynn, send them back to the ground. Wrapping around the ruins will get you a barrel and two treasure chests full of gold as well as two more axe welding skeletons. Continue along the path and cross the bridge to fight more skeletons that raise from the ground. Enter the ruins to the left and smash the barrel behind the wall to get some treasure as well as searching the treasure chests. Continue down the path to kill one of them and jump the chasm to the lower half. Once you enter the ruins two more skeletons will raise as well as seeing Khossa Vole in the distance as he talks to Rynn. Open the two treasure chests and smash the barrel to the left on the ruins wall. Run towards Khossa Vole and as you cross the bridge he will send a lightning bolt down on it to destroy it. Have Rynn perform a running leap across to have her hang on the edge and climb up the other side. Attack all the skeletons that raise for some experience points towards Rynn's level. Follow the sorta lit trail until you see a cave. Turn back around and head to the trees in the northwest. Search the far right tree on the hill to get Lastat's Blade. Head back to the cave and either enter it or carefully climb to the top. If you climb to the top you can take out a bow if you have one or use magic and attack the floating body in the chasm. Otherwise head inside for Rynn to exclaim that she found Khossa Vole's human form. Run around the edge first to bring out the skeletons hidden in two corners and smash down the other corners to reveal hidden treasure. Now attack the floating body with a bow, a sword (get on the ledge next to the body), or use some magic. Khossa Vole's spirit body will smash down the back middle wall and start attacking by shooting green skulls. Try to dodge his attacks and kill the floating body. After the floating body is defeated the spirit body will become vulnerable to Rynn's attacks. Focus your attacks on the spirit body to finally defeat him. After Khossa Vole is defeated, enter the room he opened as he came to attack you. Inside grab the treasure and the Gravestone off the pedestal. Go in to the small room off to the side to teleport out of the City of the Damned and save your game. Once you get outside call Arokh and fly east to the glowing circle in the air for a new power to unlock, Sonic. Head back to Jade's to collect the reward. After opening the second gate but before opening the third gate Flip those Switches!!!! - If you haven't flipped the switch in the spider cellar yet here is how to get to it. Go into the cellar, turn right in the first room. Go down the stairs and attack the right wall where it is pressed in a little. Flip the switch and go upstairs. Go to the door next to the bed and flip the switch. Now across the street to the blacksmith shop. Go around the boxes and enter the door to pull the lever. Then as part of the main plot to the game go to the castle when searching for something and go into the cellar. When in the first cellar room with barrels attack the indented wall in the corner. Flip the switch that is deep inside. This opens a door in the opposite wing of the castle for a lot of gold. Immediately after opening the second gate in the North lands The Ice Blade - Go back to Shiverbane with your dragon and fly north of the arena and look for a lighthouse with a blue fire next to it. Then turn so the compass points left. Enter the cave down there, it's the one you were forced into a trap on. Take the same path as you did before when you were captured. Pass the now stale floor and collect the treasure. DON'T STEP ON THE TELEPORTER!! Continue down the hall. At the end is the Ice Blade. When you take it four skeletons rise from the ground to attack you. Now leave the cave and through the portal back to your main quest. Immediately when you enter the valley The Fire Blade - Go to the part that goes to the south the most. You should see ruins there along with the good old sword pedestal. Run inside and kill the good old skeletons. Then when you get the three giant stones to light up three small stones will appear on the pedestal. Take them. Go back to the tunnel to Surdana and turn around again. Fly to the part where it bends and goes to the right. There will be some ruins guarded by the Grulls kill them and go inside the ruins. There is a stone stand where you can place on of the three stones. Do so and get flying to the Bartok Base. Inside find where there are crates stacked like stairs near the cage. Climb it by doing back flips and then jump to the ledge. Pull yourself up and walk over to the pedestal. Place the stone in the right place and watch the stone glow. Now exit the cave. Fly over to the lower ruins. Go through the side door and go through until you reach a graveyard. Then go to the right in here and place the stone. Then leave and go to the ruins near the beginning of the desert. Take the Flame Blade. Six assassins will then attack you, kill them or run and take it along with the three other element blades to the blacksmith in Surdana for the games best weapon!!!!!! ============================================================================== 3.02 - Game Script ============================================================================== 3.021 - Introduction 3.022 - Rynn's Village 3.023 - Surdana First Time ********************** *3.021 - Introduction* ********************** There are legends from times long past, of an age without kings. The great wonders were worked upon the world. Though The Order held strong for centuries, it was destroyed at last from within. Brought low by the traitors of the Dark Union. War engulfed the world and civilization crumbled. By the time the madness had ended all had been laid to waste. The Dragons of the Order wounded in spirit, withdrew into timeless slumber. To await the time when the virtues of the order were honored once more. For mankind, the fallen age had begun. Centuries wore on, evil grew ever stronger, until the vial banner of the dark union was raised once more. It was then that the warrior Rynn discovered the resting place of the dragon Arokh. Through the forgotten ritual of the bond, their souls were joined as one. And the first faint spark of The Order was rekindled at last. Together they took to the skies like a rising storm, driving back the forces of the Dark Union, and ending their dreams of conquest. Victory was theirs, but it had come at a terrible cost. Rynn's village had been destroyed, and her younger brother, the last that had remained of her family had been lost. Saddened and weary they returned to Rynn's village, to search for any that might have survived. There must be other villages, but... Arokh: I know of a place. I've been...hearing things. Rynn. They recite words I have not heard in over six hundred years. It is the Grand Summons of the Order. Rynn: The Order? Arokh: I must answer it Rynn. If others have returned to the old ways, then we must find them! Rynn: I agree, but...I cannot leave. Not yet. There are still dead to be buried. These were my friends, Arokh. Arokh: I understand, but I cannot wait. The call must be answered. It comes from the North, where the city of Surdana once stood. Will you join me when you finish here? Rynn arrives at the gates to Surdanas' land, soldiers are standing around looking for something. One of the soldiers points to Rynn and tells the other that she is coming. Dehrimon: You there! You're the warrior of the Order, aren't you? Arokh's Bonded? Rynn: That's right, Arokh is here, then? Dehrimon: He is. A fascinating creature! Ah, but I forget my manners. My name is General Dehrimon. Rynn: Rynn. Tell me something, General: those towers down there...is that really Surdana? I mean...it's still standing? Both the General and Rynn look over at the towers. Dehrimon: This was the only place to survive the Dark Wars, so far as we know. Beautiful, isn't it? Listen, it's important that you go straight to the palace, as soon as you can. Lady Myschala has urgent words, for your ears alone. Rynn: I need to speak to Arokh before I do anything. Is he in the city somewhere? Dehrimon: No, but he'll be along soon. You can wait at the Palace, if you like. One more thing, watch yourself until you reach the gate! We're hunting for a group of bandits who've been working this road. They're a cowardly bunch, but a lone woman might look like a tempting target. Rynn: If that's the case, they're in for a painful lesson. Dehrimon: I don't doubt that. Take care, just the same. As a secondary attack, Arokh breathes the legendary blast of flames. You will start with this once you get Arokh. Lightning Arokh lets off a powerful bolt of lightning that can conduct through multiple enemies at one time. His secondary lightning attack is a ball of lightning that flies through the air and zaps electricity at anything nearby. Given after defeating Mezzidrel. Sonic Primary launches Sonic Bursts. The secondary attack results in a bomb-like explosion. Given after defeating Khossa Vole. Ice Delivers a shattering freeze to enemies making them crystalize and explode when there health is low. With the secondary attack, shoot out a winter storm to freeze nearby enemies. However, this is not 100% accurate due to the fact that some enemies will have armor on. Armor reduces the amount of HP reduced from them making the numbers off. This may work with other guides HP formula's, but it also may not since it's my personal way of gauging the HP of the enemies. Also note that the Armor Piercing (AP) weapons will go right through an enemies armor. To find out what damage Arokh's powers are I killed a Blackwing Dragon with a Short Wood Bow. This took off 5HP per hit and took 18 hits, which means the Blackwing Dragon has 90HP. Reloading the save I killed the same Blackwing Dragon with Arokh's Fireball, killed it in six shots making the damage 15HP. However, being fire you have flame damage along with it, so I shot it at a slower rate and was able to kill it in 4 shots. This makes the hits 22.5HP each, so minus the 15HP initial damage from the hit of the fireball you get an additional 7.5HP damage over time per hit. As for the Flamethrower, the only way I could think of gauging it was how much damage it caused per second. killing the Blackwing Dragon in 2 seconds makes it have 45HP damage per second. Land on the highest ledge directly behind the gate, it will be a little hard to land Arokh on this ledge however, but it can be done. Still on Arokh, walk forward and take off. If it was done correctly, strafe will become reversed. Strafe as if you are trying to move away from the mountainside, but instead Arokh will get pulled through the wall and outside the map. Keep strafing until Arokh is fully able to fly around on this side of the map. Now go down to the ground and walk forward, you will get the save screen, then transfer into the Valley of the Fallen along with a cut-scene. ******************** *Flamestrike Flames* ******************** Requirements - Flamestrike Sword Equipped Take the Flamestrike sword and strike it against the wall in the Spider cellar, back in Surdana. The flames will extinguish. To re-ignite the sword you must un-equip and re-eqiup it. Even with the flames out, you can set things on fire. ************************ *Sunny Andrellian Isles* ************************ Requirements - Right after killing Bonegrinder After stopping the storms by killing Bonegrinder, and getting a glimpse of the Andrellian Isles in the sunshine, it is possible to avoid triggering the cut-scene which sends you to the next area with no possibility of returning. Walk Arokh to the mountain wall on your right, and forward to the plateau blocking your path. Staying pressed to the right, fly as low as possible and land on the edge of the plateau. Dismount from Arohk, run forward and slide down the slope. Call Arokh, and fly away to explore the Isles in the sun. Any remaining enemies (except dragons) can still be fought. Unopened chests may contain extraordinary amounts of gold. Fandrill's ship, with sails unfurled, is in the north, ready to sail. Return to this area to get the cut-scene and proceed with the story as usual. ********************************* *Exploring Surdana without Arokh* ********************************* Requirements - Be in Surdana Go on the east bridge leading to the Shadowmire and dive off the right side. Swim forward to a small cove on the left. On the front-right side of the cove, there's a dip in the ledge above. You can side jump up there. Then walk along the ledge, save your game, and slide-jump off the other side. Then you can swim and find a spot to get out, allowing you access to the larger portion of Surdana without Arokh. ************************************** *In the wall of the mean lady's house* ************************************** Requirements - Be in Surdana Go to window directly behind the mean lady. Jump up onto the trim of the house and then jump at the window. If you land just right, you will fall through the wall and get inside the walls of the house. You can run around in between the walls and see how the window was made for the houses. To get out, roll anywhere along the wall that you came through. Do a combination of rolling, jumping, equipping and un-equipping weapons until Rynn pokes her head through the wall and the camera lets you see in the normal playing field. Now press forward and the jump button repeatedly to eventually jump back out the wall. Note: This can also be done at the Farmer's house. **************************************************** *In the Support beam block of the mean lady's house* **************************************************** Requirements - Be in Surdana Directly behind and to the left of the window, of the mean lady, is a support beam. Jumping onto the stone portion will eventually let Rynn through the blocks. To get out, roll backwards. ************* *Wind Tunnel* ************* Requirements - Be in Stratos Go to the round vent at the top of the Grotus' lair where the last Gryphon flies out from. Save your game and have Rynn run, jump, flip, and roll around in here. Rynn may lose some health at times, or fall through the area and die occasionally. ********************* *Things to look into* ********************* Jade's Magic Emporium - Getting onto the upper balconies by jumping onto the books and book cases, figure out how to get up there for possible items. Possibly the way to make it to the top in four jumps: 1) A backflip from in front of the tallest bookstack. This will bring you a little bit above the bookcases. 3) A sidejump (or perhaps backflip) to an invisible platform on the left. Very hard to do, Rynn hits her head on another invisible platform. Possibly jump at a wide angle and landining on an invisible platform. Save the game here, incase you mess up. 4) Jump to the top of the bookstack. 5) Then jump over the balcony You can then smash barrels, open a treasure chest, get a weapon, smash crates. There is also a "magic window" that is up here that doesn't appear on the outside. You can jump through it. Problem with Kragmor - Sometimes General Dehrimon doesn't give the Quest to open Kragmor, try to figure out why. Mysterious Stone Arrangement - A mysterious stone arrangement that appears near Clineshmidt's Tomb. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 4. Frequently Asked Questions ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Q - What are all the icons on the screen? A - The icons on the screen are known as a HUD (Heads Up Display). The left bar is the experience bar, it raises as you and Arokh kill enemies. It will glow blue when you have reached a new level. The circle next to the Experience bar is the Health meter. When it completely drains, Rynn and Arokh will die. The circle on the right serves for a multiple number of things. The outter ring with the arrow serves as a compass. It points in the direction that Rynn or Arokh is facing. Inside the circle is a light blue color, this represents the amount of Mana Rynn has. As you level up the Magic skill, it will increase at a faster rate. When on Arokh, it shows how much attack power he has. When you have certain weapons equipped such as the bow, the number of arrows is shown, as well as how long it takes until you can shoot again. When an item flashes on the right side of the screen it means your weapon or armor is about to break. Q - How large is a game save? A - About 1500KB (1.5MB) Q - What's the best way to kill the spiders? A - The best way is to shoot them from a distance with a bow. Search the ground and the cielings for them. Q - The Mage Trogs are a pain in the butt, how do I kill them? A - A strategy I use is to run right up to them, and kill them close range, they can't use magic when you are close. Q - I left the Shadowmire and went back to go inside but the gate was locked, why can't I return? A - Once you bring the Run through the save point to Surdana, the Shadowmire no longer exists in the games current memory. It makes the tunnel turn into a dead end cave. Q - I found this switch in the spider cellar what did it do? A - It unlocks what becomes a series of switches throughout the Town Square and Palace for a large amount of gold later on in the game. Q - Where is Jade's Magic Emporium and how do I get there? A - Look to the left of the Palace, there you will see another tower on a seperate piece of land. To get there, you will have to either fly Arokh over to the front door or swim from the east bridge to the land below the tower. Q - Most of the people I run across in the town won't speak. Is that suppose to happen? A - You must tap the Use/Call Arokh button instead of holding it. Q - Is it possible to recharge the elemental blades with more magic, once it runs out? A - Yes, talk to Quaalus in Surdana and he will recharge it. Q - Does the Blacksmith repair weapons or should I just throw them out? A - As long as the weapon isn't at 0 durability, the weapon sellers will repair your weapon. However, the durability will 10% lower than it's original durability. Q - Will I regret selling this game? A - Yes. Q - Is their any way to store extra equipment and items to free up space in your inventory? A - Yes, you can drop the items of your inventory, excluding the dagger, on the ground pretty much anywhere. It is best to drop it in the corner next to the wagon maker in Surdana's town square, for easy access throughout the game. Q - I am having trouble at the swinging/hanging platforms after the fight with Snotmaw, I can't seem to make it across. Any suggestions? A - When the platform reaches it's closest point to the next platform, jump over to it. Q - Where do you find the Mournbringer? A - After collecting the four Elemental Blades from around the game, go talk to Brekk the Blacksmith back in Surdana to purchase it from him. Q - I am having trouble with the four skeletons in the Earth Blade room, any suggestions? A - You can do a few things in here. One is to get experience by killing them, equip the Earth Blade right when you get it and attack them one at a time. They will go down in a few hits, use combos to your advantage. You can also run past the pedestal with the sword on it, and press the collect items button, running through the gate to have it float after you. The skeletons will be on the other side, locked away from you. Q - How do I turn God Mode off? A - Once you have God Mode on, repeat the code and it will turn it off Q - What are all the powers Arokh can recieve? A - Including his starting power he will get Fire, Lightning, Ice, Sonic, and darkness. Q - Is there a maximum level you can get to? A - Yes, the highest level you can reach is level 12. Q - How many more skill points will I get through the game? A - You will get a total of 14 skill points to add to any of your skills. Q - Is there a sequel to this game? A - There doesn't seem to be anymore games coming after this one. However, if you didn't already know there is a prequel but it is only on the PC. It is called Drakan: Order of the Flame.
